"Honey,what's going on?Where are you going,packing things up so late at night?"
My husband frowned and said anxiously,"The hospital just called.They said Dad's condition has changed,and I need to go over there and take care of him for a few days.You guys be careful at home!"
My father-in-law was a construction foreman.More than ten years ago,he fell at the construction site and became a vegetable.Fortunately,he had earned a lot of money when he was young,which allowed him to stay in the hospital until now.
The hospital where my father-in-law was located was in the city center,quite far from home.At first,my husband said he wanted to buy a small house in the city to take better care of his father,but my mother-in-law refused no matter what.So we hired a nurse to stay with my father-in-law,and we would visit him occasionally.
After my husband left,I felt like I had lost my spiritual support,and I suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of fear in my heart.

In the middle of the night,I was woken up by the whimpering of my little son.I picked him up and fed him.After feeding him and putting him back to sleep,I was about to lie down and go to sleep.
Then there came a creaking sound from the door.By the faint light of my phone screen,I saw that the lock on the door was moving.
But it was moving slightly.I guessed that the person outside didn't dare to use too much force,for fear of waking us up.
I took a deep breath.Now that my husband wasn't here,I didn't know who the person outside was or what his intentions were.There were also two children in the room,so I had to stay calm.
I saw that the lock couldn't be opened immediately,so I carried my eldest daughter to my little son's crib and gently pushed them into the bathroom,then closed the bathroom door without making a sound.
This crib really deserved the good reviews.When we bought it,the merchant said it had silent wheels,and it really was silent.
I picked up the two pairs of scissors on the bedside table and under the pillow and held them tightly in my hands.
Behind me,there was a very bright ceiling light,which was a wrong delivery by the merchant.
