We had dinner with Jack that evening.
During the meal,Jack suddenly received a phone call and told my mother-in-law that there were no more buses and he couldn't go home.
That's when we learned that Jack's home was in the neighboring county.It wasn't too far away,just a 30-minute bus ride.
The two of them had met on the bus.Jack was a salesman.When he was promoting products to my mother-in-law,she suddenly had a hypoglycemic episode.Jack immediately took out a piece of candy from his pocket and gave it to her.
Then,to thank him,my mother-in-law added him on WeChat and bought a lot of the products he was promoting.Gradually,the two of them developed feelings for each other and got together naturally.
Hearing that Jack couldn't go back,my mother-in-law didn't think twice and invited him to stay the night at our house.
I thought to myself that there was no extra room in the house.There were only two bedrooms in total.Now,our eldest daughter,Emily,only had a small bed in our room and slept with us.And the sofa in the living room was so small that his height of over 1.7 meters couldn't fit on it.
So I asked my mother-in-law,"Should we take out the old folding bed?"
My mother-in-law waved her hands repeatedly,with a mysterious and shy look on her face,"No need,no need.He can just sleep in my room.Later,you can bring the pillows and bedding to my room."

After washing the dishes,I took the bedding and pillows to my mother-in-law's room.Unexpectedly,as soon as I opened the door,I saw my mother-in-law feeding fruits to Jack in an affectionate manner.

I thought she was cutting them for everyone,but it turned out she was feeding them to her young boyfriend.
When my mother-in-law saw me come in,she said to me in a commanding tone,"Hurry up and set things up and then get out.Don't be so slow and get in our way."

Jack winked at me while gently stroking the flesh on my mother-in-law's back.
