She's mad as hell.
Why would Keith bring her to his family dinner? Even if they had the attractions, that wasn't enough.
He needs to have feeling-Urgh! What was she thinking? He doesn't like her at all!
Vale would be lying if she said that she had no feelings for him. He said that action speaks louder than words. But, she was confused as hell of her own feelings. As much as she wanted to explode and say that she liked him, she can't do it.
She had just gotten over Kayden, and she's scared as hell that he might cheat on her as Kayden did. The fact that he is a player had proven enough to her.
The pain will be unbearable and will kill her slowly. That's because-and she think-their feelings are much stronger.
They meet each other every day, every time this past week. Like very frequently. Yeah, you got it.
Unlike Kayden, who is too busy on his work and come home late. Worst, going to parties. She's not even sure if he did own a company of his own anymore.
Seriously? Why am I even comparing them now?
Vale stopped training and leaned on the wall calming her breath before striding towards the door.
She grabbed the water bottle on the table beside the door to the basement. She shoved it down her throat eagerly. Thinking and training at the same time is utterly tiring.
She wanted to get mad as much as she can. But, tonight is Keith's family dinner. So, she might have to push her madness away for a while.
So, family dinner...
Vale walked back to her room to have a shower and get ready for the day.
The day past by as quick as it can. She spends her time watching TV, cooking and swimming in the house.
It's 6:30 p.m. Meaning, it's time to dress for the family dinner.
She was still mad at Keith though.
'I mean, seriously? What are we?'
He's not her boyfriend, and she's not his girlfriend.
So, why did he suddenly want to bring her to his family dinner? They only had attractions and nothing more.
'Are we even friends?'
"Vale?" Keith voice outside the door snapped her out of her thought.
"Yeah?" she asked as she struggled to put on the small pearl earrings.
"You ready?"
"One second, please," she finished her last touch on her face.
She didn't put too much make-up on her face. She wore a light blue dress that reaches up to her knees, keeping her appearance as simple as she can, pairing her dress with her white high heels, she's ready to go.
Vale grabbed her new phone and bag before opening the door.
Keith was obviously leaning fully on her door because as soon as she opened the door, his body stumbles upon hers. They both fall on the floor with a loud thud.
Vale groaned, feeling her breath fly away at the impact. She whimper when her back throbbed in pain.
"Oh! Shit! Vale! I'm so sorry! Damn it! I'm so sorry!" he quickly sat up before helping her to stand up.
He had an apologetic look on his eyes and a sheepish smile. Vale walked past him brushing her shoulder intentionally harsh on him. She straightened her dress and walk to the entrance.
The others were already waiting outside their own car.
Vale notice that Brett is talking with Lexy who giggle happily.
Her heart constricted thinking about her incidents and how the venomous gang saw her. She'll make sure that no one would take the happiness away from them.
'How will Lexy explain to them when they asked about me?'
And the fact that, now, Vale is in another gang.
Vale shakes her head from the thoughts.
'Later.'
She told herself.
She needed a good time to think about everything that's been happening in her life.
Her chest tightens, realizing that she would never be able to exit this world. She was falling deeper into the abyss than she could ever imagine.
"Let's go."
Keith's voice boomed startling her as he softly took her hand in his. Vale retracted her hand and wished she hasn't done so seeing hurt flash through his eyes.
She walked to Dylan's car and slide into the passenger seat, puffing childishly.
Dylan shrugged and drive. Although, she knows, ‘this brother' is gonna lecture her after this.
"What's with the face?" he asked.
