Her wolf presence was coming back!
"Talk to me!" I shook her, grabbing her shoulders.
She looked exhausted and empty
That's not all. I also noticed that her blood kept gushing out, probably because something was causing her regenerative ability to dysfunctional again.
Is it Gina again?
"You're bleeding so much! oh my god! why are you not healing?!"
I had to quickly run to the bathroom and get a damp towel before going back to her. I started to put pressure on her wounds to stop the bleeding. Yet even when i purposefully pressed on her wound hard enough to get a reaction, she still refused to even let out a simple groan. As if she doesn't feel any physical pain at all.
"Luna Christal, please talk to me! You can't be like this!"
She was shutting everyone out
Not knowing what to do, i slapped her hard enough to make her wake up. But she just lifelessly stared at the direction her head flung to. The side of her body fell slowly on the ground afterward.
It was then i felt like crying
"It's not the end yet! you have to get a hold of yourself!" I sobbed, gripping the dress from my knees.
It hurt me to see Christal like this.
I don't know where exactly and how i got attached to her. The countless memories that i spent with her meant something for me.
All i wanted was to save such a poor soul
"That is it, I have to go meet Gina. She'll know what to do." I muttered, closing my eyes as i decided to enter her consciousness.
I sat gracefully in front of her, directing the spiritual connection towards her body, i was able to enter her consciousness easily as the seal around her body was strangely loosened.
And i saw the reason why
The first thing i saw is Christal's back facing me, her hair white, she was staring at a cage in front of her. When i tried going near her, that's when i finally saw Gina, who was imprisoned inside the cage, whimpering to her injuries inside
I gasped, ["What is going on here?!"]
Blood was dripping all over Gina's body.
["S-Syrena... get back."] Gina weakly says.
I stepped back, fearing for the worst
Just like that, Christal slowly shifts her face to the side, making me see how her eyes glowed dangerously red. She was oozing from bloodlust and hatred that even i got scared
["Syrena?"] Christal finally faces me, trails of blood on the side of her face. ["What are you doing here? i was just rejoicing."]
["R-Rejoicing? what for?"]
She snickers bitterly
["What for? it's because i finally understand what would be the best course of action in this shitty fate."]
["and so that decision is to lock the demi-god inside there?"] i shot back, trying to get answers from her. It was strange that she was able to subdue a demi-god to this extent
Gina isn't a weakling, that's why i couldn't guess why the hell is she one being subdued right now?

["If i knew that this method exists then i would've done it a long time ago. I can't believe i let myself be dragged by some gods that fucked up my whole life."] She says, her eye filled with hatred
I closed my eyes in frustration
When i noticed how much stronger she became i could only guess that she fully controlled Gina's will.
A full control of a demi-god's powers? That's dangerous
["have you given up in your mate?"]
["Shut up! i don't want to involve myself anymore with that curse! I've been living in fear, constantly running away to avoid hurting other people, i've done a good job shutting myself out but what? You people just keep dragging me back to hell that i always have to blame myself for my wrongdoings! I'm not the one to blame!"] She shook her head. ["I tried running away but you all keep stopping me, i fell in love with the Alpha king not because i wanted to and you all fucking knew. In the end? it's still that damned fate that pushed me to this edge!"]
["Christal don't let your emotions control you, AlphaKing Zyrus's memories are sealed that's why he's acting like that."]
She started to laugh hysterically, not a pint of sadness or sorrow on her expression when she stared at me once again.
["No one is controlling me. Can't you see it? i finally woke up in this damned curse. I don't need to feel sorry for myself or even beg anyone to stay with me. That's not me, it was never me in the first place."]
I frowned, i can't deny that i've also known Christal for her selfishness, even before she devoted herself to protect her mate, she was a lone wolf who ran away from any troublesome circumstances.
She didn't even care if she runs away from her mate. As long as she stays determined in her selfish reasons, she continued to live the life she always wanted it to be. The only reason she did fell inlove with the AlphaKing was due to her losing her memories in the past, it was that very moment in her life that things started to change.
It was because she lost herself in the process that she believed in her love for the AlphaKing.
So what can i say right now? She's not strange at all if i think about it, she has just gone back to the days that she was immeasurably selfish.

["Even so, you can't deny the feelings you have for him!"] I yelled.
She clicks her tongue, annoyed at what i said. ["So what? even if that's the case, he won't love me back anyway. So what's the use?"]
My eyes widened in horror, she was spouting excuses!
["What's the use? Can't you be a bit more patient to your mate? he was patient enough to wait for you in the past, so why can't you?!"]

She laughs. ["So you've decided to side with me?"]
["You know i can't leave you alone."] I said worriedly, hoping she would reconsider her decisions.
Yet she only smirked at me with amusement. ["How pitiful, you're serving such a selfish master. Don't you fear your life?"]
["I've already lived enough. Since i hold you as someone important to me, you can use me however you want."]
She laughs more.
["I'm sorry it's just really funny how you pledged your life before knowing what my intentions were. Are you an idiot? I'm gonna give you a second chance to choose after hearing my intentions."]
["Let's hear it."]
Her canines show as she gave a murderous expression.
["To end this damnable repeating cycle of curse. I will kill my own mate and end it once and for all."]
What!?
["Are you crazy?! do you even think you'll win?!"]
She giggles once again. ["Doesn't matter, if he kills me it'll end too anyway. But that's just plan b, i still want to live a little while to have fun."]
I can't believe it.
I take back what i said about her going back to her initial behavior- this is worse than when i first met her
I let out an incredulous gasp. ["just what happened for you to act like this? aren't you going too far?"]
["I'm going too far? Why would i even think of such trivial matter? i don't have anyone. I don't have a family nor a mate, i don't even have you who's someone who serves my mate. So why am i the one who's the bad guy here? I've endured everything till now, so you can't blame me for doing this."]
I breathed out frantically, not liking the tone of her eyes.
["I won't follow my fate anymore, i will fight back!"]
Just as she said that, she forced me to get out from her consciousness, my soul going back to my own, i couldn't handle the amount of magic she placed within the spell that i completely lost consciousness in the process.
