  CHRISTAL's POV

'Aren't you being a bit too rough on her?'

I sighed, looking at Syrena's unconscious body in front of me.

"Shut up, you're the one who told me to place a spell when i drive her out, i didn't know she can't handle it."

Well atleast that was the plan.

Placing a palm on my forehead, i let out a groan of frustration. It's only been an hour after Gina and i came up with a life-changing plan. After my mental breakdown earlier, we had a good talk about how we'll handle the situation right now. At first, i was really close to killing her myself after losing all hopes.

It was to the point that i was crazy mad.

But.. who am i kidding? how the hell can i even defeat a demi-god?

'Well atleast you tried.' Gina laughs at my thoughts.

I rolled my eyes. "Be thankful that i actually agreed to your plan."

'Oh stop it, you know that it's OUR plan. You also agreed to this ridiculous setup. Look at you amazingly acting so well, you can win an Oscar for that.' She laughs.

"Har har, very funny." I let out a frustrated growl. "But who knew she'll fall for it huh? Maybe i overestimated her."

I looked at our unconscious Syrena on the floor, her hair sprawled all over, her hands resting haphazardly. I leaned over and inspected if she was really unconscious, slapping her cheek with little force.

"Yep she's out." I stood up once again. "Damn, i even wanted her to figure it out so i can keep her with me. Guess she's staying with my mate then."

'After you acted so well, you're disappointed?'

"Hey hey! you also acted alright? you even got so far to hurt yourself, you're better off winning an award than me." I chuckled, pointing out the bloody scene that she showed Syrena.

I mean that scene itself was ridiculous. What did Syrena think of when she saw Gina on a cage? She must've thought i defeated her or controlled her.

  That's rubbish.

How the hell can i even counter this bitchy Demi-God inside of me? I'll die if i fight her.

'You talk as if i'll hurt you.'

"You did countless of times in the past, have you already forgotten huh?" I rolled my eyes, irritated at her forced pitiful behavior.

Not talking to her any further, i left Syrena on the room, locking the door from the inside so that i can take more time to escape from the place. Carefully closing it, i took one last look to my witch friend.

"I'll miss you my friend." I give a genuine smile before closing the door.

I didn't hesitate anymore as i tried my best to not look suspicious when i encountered some wolves and witches, my face straight to prevent detection. When i finally arrived outside, i ran to the forest as fast as i could to head straight to Delta.

  'I'm so nervous!' Gina exclaims.

  Even i was nervous.

After all, the plan that we are following right now, is the most dangerous path that we just took. A path of betrayal, murder, and revenge. The moment we swore to sacrifice our lives for this, was also the start of how we'll fight back to the fate the befalls us.

We also discovered something earlier when Gina hurt herself for acting, she placed numerous offensive spells around her and made it hurt her, resulting in the loosening of the barrier around us, and more surprisingly, her demi-god presence was actually fading.

That means it's also a bonus to our plans.

I landed on a branch, sniffing the scent lingering around me before i continued my run once again.

'Will he be there?' Gina asks, out of nowhere.

"I think so, every alpha should be present since they take in talented warriors, it'll be disadvantageous for the RedBloodMoon if they don't take young ones with huge potentials," i replied.

Well it's not like he'll need someone anyway.

The trials had been going for a whole day already, there are only 2 hours left before the event ends. At first it was out of our plans to join, but since we discovered that Gina could fade the demi-god presence. I quickly thought of a brilliant plan to loosen the seal on his mind.

  I sighed.

"Hmph, whenever i think about that idiot, i really want to slap him. I still can't forgive him for almost killing me." I grumpily growled, already anticipating Gina's scolding.

'Christal, what you did was reckless, you knew he lost his memories yet you still provoked him!'

"So what, i've always provoked him, why can't i do it now?"

She sighs, realizing that it was useless to fight with me. After my ridiculous talks with Gina, we finally arrived at the area of Delta. I landed softly on the ground after jumping out from a nearby tree.

Werewolves shockingly looked at my attendance.

"Look, she really came. I thought she'll bail."

  "She's so dead."

"Man, she's really here! i can finally win a bet!"

  "Arrogant bitch."

Well what a welcoming surprise. Tilting my head, i let out an exhausted growl at the people around me, my canines showing as i fought back hostility with hostility. Since i was a participant, they didn't fight back, only limiting their anger by glaring at me. I rolled my eyes, passing by them and intentionally shoving my shoulders into theirs.

"You!" One of the growls, but after inspecting me carefully, his eyes darkened. "A hot chick like you can't survive in the trials, why don't you just give your time to me huh?"

He comes close, his friends giving me amusing stares.

  What an idiot.

Just when he placed a hand on my shoulder, i quickly spun my head to the other side, grabbing his wrist, as he now faced my back. I then grabbed his hand with enough force, pulling his arm to drag his whole body down to the ground.

He yelps in pain, his friends' jaw drops. As soon as an awkward silence took over around us, i took the chance to talk after I placed a foot on his chest, resulting in him glaring at me. "Listen up loser, i have a fight to attend so you better not volunteer to become my warm up buddy, got that?" I threatened, putting more weight to my feet.

He nods, groaning in pain when i worsened his injury.

'You're so mean, you obviously provoked the guy.'

[Can you shut up for once huh? How can i appear to be evil if i can't even bully guys like him? just let me do my job geez.]

'We didn't plan this, i never said you can just provoke others. You already have a lot of enemies so why are you still adding him to your list?'

  I face-palmed myself.

[So damn talkative! enough with your scolding grandma! i can't focus with you talking so much in my head!]

Snapping back into reality, i got my feet off him and casually walked towards the arena as if i didn't bully anyone just now. Thankfully they didn't pursue me anymore, probably because they want me to die in the arena.

I can't do that, dying in the trials is not part of our plan.

Just i expected, as i arrived in the Arena. The trials were still ongoing, the alphas spectating seriously at the match that was infront of them. There's only a surprisingly controlled amount of werewolves allowed to watch in the arena, unlike that day when i fought Alpha Damien, which was packing with thousandths of werewolves in every corner.

The security lets me in after seeing who i am, their eyes changing diameter afterward, they probably mind linked someone that i have arrived.

  Well, here goes nothing.

The crowd was noisy, their voices echoing around the big room as they shouted the participant's names that were on the stage. Betting who would win or not, and the Alphas of the Continent, gathered in one place. Their attention focused solely on what's infront of them.

I crossed my arms, waiting for the fight to conclude.

It was two unknown werewolves that threw themselves at each other using their werewolf form, when the other guy bites his opponent in the arm dangerously, he clearly won the battle.

He raises his arms up, as the guy behind him being dragged away to get medical help.

I suddenly remembered Syrena's words about the trials. She told me that it was like the arena battle i fought before, it's just that the Alpha of the continent will assess you no matter you win or lose. In short, it was just a fight to assess our abilities.

  I smirked.

"He already won 3 fights, who'll go in anyway?" The guy beside me says towards his friend.

So that's why he's so cocky.

  'Don't underestimate your opponent again.'

"Oh come on, he's not on the same level as Damien, i'll be alright." i muttered to myself, my eyes landing on my mate who was seriously staring at the guy on the stage.

He looked uninterested, his eyes cold and dead as if he was exhausted already, he didn't even bother to talk with the other alphas who tried to confide with him. I shook my head, telling myself that our plan will work.

I let out a nervous exhale.

  "Let's do this shit."
