When we arrived at the cell, i was surprised to see a very familiar face. Her red-hair on the sides of her head, reaching down to her waist and her glaring eyes that seemed to always hate my existence.
Amber of Stone pack.
What the hell is she doing here? Last time she tried to kill me for having Gandiva, so what the hell is she now doing trespassing Redbloodmoon like an idiot?
I rolled my eyes, expecting the interrogation to be done in a jiffy. But when i noticed a strange tension in the air, i turned towards Zyrus, who was staring back at Amber's eyes with shock.
Why is he looking at her like that?
"Mine." He mutters, out of a daze.
It was then that i couldn't comprehend what was happening. My eyes enlarging at the thought of his words, my hand trembled as my body also. That was not all, everything seemed to stop at the moment. All of us in shock as we heard Zyrus.
He wasn't saying that because of me, He was saying that because he was staring at Amber.
My heart clenched.
[Gina! What the hell is going on?! just what kind of bullshit is this?!]
'I-I don't know! this never happened before! there's no way she's his mate! The demi-god presence only covers your wolf presence, it never disappears anyway!' Gina says in a panic voice.
At that time, my instincts took over my body. I ran towards them, separating them with my body in between, i raised both of my hands to make him shift his attention towards me.
"Zyrus! No, you can't be fooled like this! She's not your mate!"
Startlingly, he growls at my interference.
"Not my mate? i can feel the mate pull."
Mate pull?!
I sobbed. "No.. i don't know what kind of sorcery she's doing to you, but i assure you that she's not your mate! She has long awakened her wolf, and you met her before- so how can she suddenly become mates with you?!"
I felt a tap on my back, when i turned around Amber was looking at me with tears in her eyes.
Acting?
"How can you say that?" She sobs harder than me. "We've met before and he knows I'm his mate, we even spent the night in the lake during our date. He hasn't seen me for a month so i got worried and trespassed this place."
I clenched my jaw in anger.
How dare she use our memories together to play this game?!

I was about to slap her for lying so straightforwardly on my face if it wasn't for Zyrus's hand seizing my own. He grips it harder than i expected, making me squirm in pain.
Amber falls on the ground, even when i didn't fucking touched her, she faked crying once again.
"Stop it! what do you think you're doing?!" Zyrus spat out.
"Let go of me! She's telling lies!"
"Lies?! even if she was lying i'm gonna be the one who's gonna decide that! Who are you to do this?!" He pulls our face closer, making me see how dilated his eyes had become due to anger.
I gasped, feeling a sting inside my chest.
W-Who am i?
"Alphaking!" Syrena comes beside me, pleading on my stead. "Please appease your anger, there is something strange about this she-wolf's words."
He lowly growls at her, letting me go.
"Strange? she can recall one of my missing memories while giving off a mate's scent. Can the mate pull lie?!"
Mate pull? No. How can there be a mate pull? It's just an illusion!
I gaped in horror, my mind couldn't comprehend what was happening that i went out of control. I felt my powers leaking from me, my hair turning white as i felt my eyes burned. I directed all of my anger towards Amber who was obviously enjoying how desperate i looked right now.
"Die you liar," i muttered, overflowed with venom
Quickly standing up from my seat, i directed offensive magic that could immediately eliminate the threat infront of me. I didn't think twice and released it, fast enough so Zyrus wouldn't be able to protect her in time.
"Christal no!" Syrena yells at me after releasing it.
I chuckled bitterly.
No one can stop it, This bitch has to pay for trying to mess with me.
SYRENA's POV
It was already stressing enough that an imposter was claiming herself to be his mate, so why is Christal getting out of control? She knew the truth. So why does she look so desperate?
But that didn't end with her trying to try to slap Amber, she stood up and did something worse.
"Christal no!" I yelled when she released a terrifying amount of offensive magic in her hands, towards the she-wolf in front of us.
Even i couldn't stop how fast she did the deed, not even the AlphaKing who tried his best to block the attack became too slow to shield Amber from harm.
It's death.
Amber will die!
But even before the ball of magic hits her, it suspiciously dissipates in air. Spreading itself in the surroundings as if it never was there in the first place. Amber who feared her death, loses her consciousness afterward.
What's going on?
"DAMN IT GINA! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS! I WAS THIS CLOSE- ugh!"
In an instant, AlphaKing Zyrus was holding her neck, his eyes filled with monstrous anger towards Christal. I hurried to their side and kowtowed rapidly, my head hitting on the ground in impact, i nervously pleaded with all my life as Christal's face turned pale at his grip.
"Z-Zyrus.. w-why?!" Christal cries.
Not hesitating as i did any further, i shouted in fright.
"AlphaKing! Please don't kill her! Nothing happened! Amber is safe and sound-"
"Safe and sound?! if it wasn't for her magic suddenly dysfunctioning then my mate would have died in an instant!"
At that time, even i became desperate to prove Christal's true identity, i didn't care anymore if he doubts me since it was a crucial time if Christal can survive his anger or not.
There was no time to hesitate.
"Please AlphaKing! You gotta believe her! she's really your true mate! I can vouch for it! I have served you Luna Christal the longest so i remember every single bit of details that's lost in your memories! Give me some time to prove it!"
Thankfully, he reconsiders by throwing Christal's body towards me, catching her with trembling hands. After that, Christal tensely grabs her neck on her own, not believing that the Alphaking almost killed her.
"This is the last mercy i can give you, considering our relationship before," AlphaKing says towards Christal. "If you don't leave this pack by dawn, i'll let my warriors handle you."
It was strange, his tone wasn't that angry anymore. More like he felt guilty, giving off a slightly apologetic tone in his words.
I frowned.
I knew it, The alpha king liked her, but it wasn't to the extent that he'' ll let his mate die in her hands.
I sighed, just why did Christal tried to kill her? Of course she'll lose his favour if she did that. Just what is she thinking?
Christal didn't answer at all, she just trembled, her eyes in a daze.
Alphaking picks up Amber who was out cold, carrying her in her arms, jaxon follows behind them as they left the cell, leaving me to handle Christal who was in a state of shock in my arms.
As they disappeared on our sight, i quickly grabbed Christal's shoulder.
"Luna! just what were you thinking?! There's a lot of way to punish that imposter, you didn't have to try to kill her infront of your mate! of course he'll condemn you, he's still confused right now!"
Snapping out of her daze, it was then she broke out in tears. Placing her head towards my chest as she continued to cry in despair. The only thing that i could do was lend my warmth to her state, patting her back continuously.
She sits up, staring at me with tears still in her eyes.
"I..I-I've told myself over and over again not be discouraged, since i knew the truth that i am his mate. But the thought.. that he might never regain his memories of me and that bitch had to appear! ..it made me restless! i couldn't stop myself..and now.. all i did is all for nothing!"
She grabs her hair violently.
"Stop it! don't hurt yourself!" I grabbed her arms.
"I should've just died in his hands-"
I slapped her.
"Do you hear yourself?! I know the path you're taking is hard, but you know that if he really did kill you today, he'll be tortured all his life if he regains his memories of you! can you live with that?!"
She snickers bitterly. "What's the use in battling my fate? I'm cursed! this will keep going on and on! until my mind breaks!"
My eyes widened in horror at her state, she's very close in losing her mind. Provoking he right now is dangerous, she needs to rest. As if Gina knew my intentions, i felt the seals in her body loosening when i placed a sleeping spell of high level directly towards her soul.
