Damn it, why the hell did he have to come here?! isn't he suppose to be cold and not visit me after saying all those shits?! I shook my head, i can't believe i also forgot for a moment that just as how big his ego was, his clueless nature is also as big.
Zyrus growls at beta Jaxon, his stare piercing grudges throughout Jaxon's bones. I wanted to laugh but how could i? I'm also in a predicament here!
What i didn't expect was due to fear, Jaxon runs into me, making me a shield between them.

"Alpha! Calm down! this isn't really what you think it is!"
"JAXON." Zyrus grits his teeth in anger, his mood worsening probably because he's too close to me.
"What are you doing idiot?! get away from me!" I hissed, not wanting to be between their feud. "Can't you obviously see that he doesn't like you getting near me? or are you just dumb?!"
"No no, if i get away from you it's instant death!"
I sighed, my eyes lands on Zyrus who's still glaring at Jaxon right now. I didn't want my plan to fail but i had to no choice as of the moment, if this gets worse i'll get swept in the fight.
Before i could even open my mouth, Zyrus shouts angrily.
"Why the hell is that guy coming out from your bathroom?! and why is your scent all over him?!" He steps forward, our faces inches from each other.
"Can you calm down first?"
"Yea, pls calm down Alphaking." Jaxon sobs behind me.
"SHUT UP." We both say in sync toward him, making his mouth zipped in an instant.
"I don't get you, what are you getting angry for? didn't you want me to leave? what kind of nonsense is this right now?" I scoffed.
"I could say the same thing to you, you appear to like me but you're actually fucking my beta." He growls at the both of us.
"EXCUSE ME?!"
"You heard me, so you better move so i can kill this guy right now."
"No! we're gonna talk about this attitude from you right now!" I placed a hand on his chest, stopping his movements. "You have no reason to kill him! just as you've said before you don't really take our relationship seriously! you're the one who's playing with me!"
Now i know that i'm pushing his buttons right now. Even when i knew why he was so contemplated to keep me since he has memories of his mate which is actually me. At this point, i just really wanted to aggravate him to speak his true feelings even without the mate pull.
So please, don't push me away like this.
I hid my hands on my back, gripping it tightly as i felt nervous as to how will Zyrus answer me.
"I'm not gonna ask again, why is he in your room?"
"No, you answer my question first."
He curses, kicking on the wall, i flinched when it broke on impact.
"Breaking a wall won't make me speak up." I stated firmly, gambling that he'll let my attitude slip.
We stared at each other for a while, he was looking at me like he couldn't believe how brave i was talking back at him. Nevertheless, he was the first one to give up on our fight.
"FIne! you wanna hear the truth so bad?" He steps forward, he places his hands on both my shoulder. "Even with all those words i said to you, i still want you. I want to be selfish and cage you somewhere other's won't see you, not even my own mate."
Ugh, i wanted to slap him for saying that but thinking that i'm his mate made me relieved for some reason.
I placed a hand on his cheek. "Then do it, just keep me around you."
He grips my hand in an instant. "First you have to explain why my beta is here,"
I gulped, He's a really stubborn one huh? he keeps on repeating the same thing all over again, it's like he wants to find an excuse to kill his beta.
Well, it's not like we're actually hiding something like that, worse why the hell would i be fucking Jaxon when i can fuck Zyrus?
I looked at Jaxon, when he sees me staring at him, he raises his clasped hand in front of me, pleading for me to save his life from the angry alpha king.
I rolled my eyes, looks like my plan was bound to fail right from the very start.
"He's right, we're not doing anything bad just like you thought. I was just trying to piss you off by rubbing my scent in him."
"What?" He asks dumbfounded. "Care to explain HOW you rubbed your scent in him?"
"Well.." I looked at him, he was pleading more than ever. I chuckled. " I used magic! it's pretty easy for me since I'm a demigod right?"
Jaxon's jaw drops.
