But at that time, i just didn't want to anger him further that i just willingly stayed.
I turned the tv on.
*"Breaking news! Ominous dark-red clouds signal severe weather in all corners of the world. This has been recently reported by the Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration as an abnormal phenomenon without any explanation of what could have caused this weather."*
I frowned, "All parts of the world huh." I muttered.
I remembered what Syrena said about those oracles, is it really related to me?
I shook my head, no it's ridiculous. If i think about it. controlling the weather is the job of the White Witches and those bitches have clearly don't have any engagements to me any further that i could think of. So even if i really was the reason, i completely doubt that.
So the only possibility left is...
it's not the White Witches that are causing this weather.
But then who? who could even control the weather just like how they can control nature? Is it the gods? Nah, they may be arrogant but they have never interfered with their creations, the only thing that they could do is watch and complain about us.
So it's not the gods either.
I slouched to my sit, stressing about anyone who could come up in my head yet i still couldn't arrive in an answer. So i just closed the tv off and jumped into Zyrus bed.
His scent still there, i hugged one of the pillows. "Jerk, when will you come here?"
He must've heard me because the door opens at the end of my sentence, he comes in without any care. When he saw me on his bed, i awkwardly stared at his cold eyes that meant something.
It was those eyes that judged me like i was some stranger.
He closes the door behind him, then he starts to come towards the bed.
I gulped, "Zyrus?"
"Let's talk." His eyes were distant.
"Ok?"
"You know that tomorrow is the monthly trials right?"
I nodded.
"You won't attend it, i don't allow a demi-god to participate in it."

"Alphaking, she woke up." Jaxon comes in my office.
I nodded, i stood up and followed behind him as we went towards Maria once again.
It's been a couple of hour since i locked that demi-god in my room. I still can't explain what feelings i have for her, but i knew that it cannot continue any further as i have a mate just like my memories have told me.
I don't know why i locked her there damn it, i should've kicked her out of the pack.
But for some reason, i just can't abide by what my mind kept telling me. It's annoying how much attachment i have towards her even though we only met a few weeks ago. I repeatedly told myself that she must've bewitched me, but that's not the case at all. If i really were the case, i would've felt it.
Yet i kept lying myself to keep her around me.
I closed my eyes in frustration.
As we arrived in Maria, we headed inside.
"BROTHER ZYRUS!! I KNOW IT'S YOU!!" Damien voice echoes around the dark walls of maria.
Tch.
"Alpha?" Beta jaxon turns his body towards me, "I think it's time to release alpha Damien. We received a letter from Crescentine pack about his prolonged visit. They were asking him to come back due to the issues about the weather."
"No."
He dares to confront the demi-god, he deserves punishment.
Jaxon's jaw drops, "A-Alphaking! i think you've inflicted a worthy amount of punishment for him but-"
"When i say no, i mean NO." i growled at him, feeling angrier that he kept refuting my words. "Ignore him."
He gulps yet he agreed, he turned away from me as we continued our walk towards Brianna's cell. As we passed by Damien's cell, he tried reaching out to me but i didn't spare him a glance, not wasting any more time.
As we arrived, my eye lands on Brianna glaring at us with all her might.
She spits out blood, "Fucking ass, as soon as i woke up you're already here."
I chuckled bitterly, "If you didn't fell asleep during the interrogation, then this wouldn't have happened."
"Asleep?! You made me lose consciousness!" She screams in anger, the chains in her limbs producing sounds, as the blood in her body started to flow even more.
I scrunched my nose in disgust.
Jaxon closes the steel door behind us, then we headed towards her after placing a chair in front of her that limits the distance between us.
I sat on it.
"I don't have time to deal with you any further. So just answer my fucking questions already."
She laughs, "I already told you everything, my brother doesn't know my true intentions. I just wanted to kill you for personal reasons! You killed my mate! I WANT TO KILL YOU SO BAD!"
Tch, she keeps repeating those words.
Jaxon speaks up. "Alpha, i've investigated just like you ordered. Although the information about her mate is hidden, it was not impossible to obtain. She really is the mate of the beta in the Bluestone pack. And according to the field report in Silverfang, there were no suspicious movement that could be done against us."
So she really was saying the truth?
"What's the name of her mate?" i asked in amusement, as soon as she saw my expression she screams in anger.
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY HIS NAME! I'LL CURSE YOU EVEN IN DEATH!"
"Oh?" I stood up, going towards her and gripping her face into my palms. "I have my fair shares of curses, if you want to curse me you have to fall in line."
Her eyes widened in fear.
"SInce i hold my relationship with Alpha Griffin important, i'll reduce your sentence to exile. I'll tell the silverfang about this incident today, if they dare take you in once again. They'll die along with you, got it?"
"No! Kill me already! I tried to kill you! don't put up a disgusting facade of being merciful you fucking monster!" She hissed, full of venom.
"You don't get to decide what i do with you." I growled, then turned towards Jaxon. "Prepare the notice to Silverfang immediately. This bitch leaves tomorrow morning."
I stood up from my sit, preparing to leave.
"You still dont' want to kill me?" She laughs hysterically. "How about this? I've hired some witches to reveal her true identity tomorrow in the trials. Let's see if she can live after being discovered!"

I balled my fist in anger, not being to hold it in. I punched her right in the face, she loses consciousness immediately. I huffed out, my breathing gotten quicker.
"True identity?" Jaxon says in confusion.
Damn it, how did Brianna discover her true identity? was she discovered? No. knowing her, she would've noticed Brianna in a far distance. So that not it.
Someone was probably manipulating this girl.
She would've never tried to kill me if no one instigated her to do it, Alpha Griffin would often tell me that Brianna was a conservative she-wolf that often socializes.
"Fuck, this is something more troublesome than i thought." I muttered under my breath.
As Jaxon remained clueless about the situation. I hastily left the place without him and went straight ahead towards my bedroom, where the demi-god is currently in. Once i arrived at the door i calmed my senses before i twisted the knobb.
She was laying down the bed.
She says, "Zyrus?"
"Let's talk."
"Ok?" She straightens her back.
"You know that tomorrow is the monthly trials right?"
She nodded, her expression telling me she was confused as to why i'm asking about it. I knew what her reaction would be after i say it, yet i cannot bring myself to tell her the real reason why i would order her to obey me. Without any further hesitation, i managed to blurt it out.
"You won't attend it, i don't allow a demi-god to participate in it."
Her eyes widened in shock. "What? Are you kidding right now?"
I stared at her.
Seeing my serious face, she stands up angrily. "No! why would you even say that? i stayed just to participate in the trials, then you're telling me to leave before day's time?!"
Her retaliation made me annoyed, even when i was worried about her safety, she still had the nerve to get angry at me. "Shut up, i didn't ask for your opinion."
"Why?! can you at least tell me why?!"
There were two reasons why i wanted her to leave. First, she will surely encounter trouble if she goes to the monthly trials. Secondly, i wanted to cut ties any feelings towards her.
For my mate.
For my mate that was in my memories, i can't continue to hold onto this girl.
I gripped my knuckles in frustration.
"Leave, and don't ever come back."
