  ♛ ALPHAKING's POV ♛

It's been a few days since i visited that Demi-God. I admit that i was pissed that she often gives me attitude for no reason at all, if i had stayed on any longer who knows what i'll do to her again. Yet even with those kinda thoughts, i knew nothing can stop me from seeing her cheeky behavior once again.

I was so preoccupied with my thoughts that i didn't notice dawn coming, my hearing picking up loud thunder noises all of a sudden.

  I sat up.

My vision narrowed as i looked at the clouds, it's grim aura emitting from above. I couldn't help but feel wary as to what was causing the pint of red blood mixed in the skies. I didn't waste any more time, as i finally stood up and headed straight to my office.

I mind linked my beta, ushering him to come to my office.

When Jaxon finally comes, he closes the door behind him. "AlphaKing? You called for me?"

"Yes." i nodded, signaling him to come forward to my desk. "Any urgent reports?"

"How about the arena issue?" He says, hsi eyes filled with anticipation.

Ah, this issue again? When will those idiots stop being so nosy?

I shook my head. "How many times do i have to tell you that i don't care about their stupid opinions?"

"I've already informed them, it's just that they want you to hold a meeting to clarify more things about it."

I slammed my fist on the table. "Did you not hear what i said?!"

He immediately shuts his mouth, stepping back as he felt my heavy killing aura from the tone of my voice. He knew yet he still had the nerve to ask for this over and over again.

"You've been my beta for years, can you not handle such a minor issue?" I add.

He sighs. "I'll do my best."

Jaxon then started to report the defense status of the pack's system that we have been preparing for years. Since i don't have an heir right now, this kind of preparation was necessary. Until now, the pack has greatly improved due to the great influence of the great pack wars that we've won against the bluestone. But there's no saying when there will be the next attack, so that's why we always handled this kind of report every month to maintain a stable environment for my pack.

Also, i've always had this bad feeling of disappearing ever since the day i awakened King Yasha's soul within me.

"The only thing that is left to do is to find a person to inherit the pack's legacy if something were to happen to you alpha king." He says, his eyes filled with worry.

We've been talking about this after my disappearance, so it's only normal that he's still not used to my sudden decision.

"What's with the face?" I chuckled. "There's no helping it, the elders were right in some points. Now that the heavens eyes me from time to time, there's no saying what might happen to me these days."

"Alpha, you're still young for a werewolf, how could you decide to pass the title to some guy that doesn't have your blood running in your veins? It's better to just get an heir from that girl."

  My eyebrow arched, "Who?"

The demi-god? but i've never heard of a demi-god's offspring? is it possible?

"Brianna of Silverfang?" He says blatantly as if it was obvious.

I frowned, not liking his answers. "I don't want to have a kid with that crazy woman. Anyway, any important reports left?"

He nodded. ""We're getting reports from all around the continent that the skies is emitting an ominous aura, even the Dark witches agreed on this. AlphaKing, what should we do?" Beta Jaxon says, a worried tone in his voice.

We both looked towards the window, looking at the clear evidence.

"It must be that old hag's doing, who else is able to control the skies?" I scoff. "Why are they even annoying me for such useless matter? do they think i'm always responsible for such misfortunes happening?"

My eyes widened when i felt an unknown presence coming out from one of the doors, my head turning to that direction, the aura was coming from one of my secret tunnels.

  I mind linked Jaxon.

  ° ["Someone's here, east door."] °

He nods, we both looked at that door. As i got closer, i was able to confirm some characteristics. My instincts telling me it was a she-wolf. I walked towards it, my claws sharpening in preparation.

As i abruptly opened the door, i didn't had the time to react when i saw her face.

  Brianna?

  "You!-"

I was cut off from my sentence when she suddenly grabs my face, forcing her lips into mine, some unknown liquid slip past her mouth. I pushed her off me immediately angrily, my eyes darkening at the thought that she made me drink something of unknown origin.

"Shit i drank the other half." She muttered, her shoulder bleeding when i pushed her off me earlier.

I was about to scold her once again if it wasn't for my speech being interupted by my sudden convulsion. My heart tightened as i felt my knees weaken.

My vision barely managed to discern her face in front of me.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU MAKE ME DRINK?!" I held my head in pain.

"Don't worry i also drank it, soon everything will be over."

"AlphaKing! What's wrong?!" Jaxon quickly comes to my side, he tried to support me yet i pushed him away. Directing my anger towards Brianna who made me drink a suspicious liquid forcefully.

"What's over? i'm gonna fucking kill you, i don't care anymore even if you're his sister." I growled filled with venom.

  "Really?" she laughs.

It was at that time when i sustained another throb in my head, enduring the pain from it, my eyes widened when i saw a sudden image flash inside my mind.

║║ A faceless girl was embracing me while her hand rested on both my neck and my bare chest, her smile being too vague for me to forget. I felt a tear slipped down my cheek when i also felt the related feelings i had at that memory, we were clearly soaking by the ocean at that moment.║║

║║ She said to me. ""I love you, i love you so much. I would never regret anything with you." ║║

The memories didn't stop there, every memory that i had with that girl surfaced deep within my mind, her face still unknown in every piece of it.

"W-Who was that?" I gasped, my eyes widening in fear, fully aware that the girl on my memories was my mate.

Yet i can't recall her face.

"Alpha?" Jaxon calls outs to me.

Pushing him away, i angrily strode towards Brianna, grabbing her collar aggressively. "WHAT DID YOU MAKE ME DRINK, THIS IS THE LAST TIME I'M GONNA ASK."

"W-Why aren't you dead yet?!" She screamed back in anger, trying to wriggle herself away from me. "Let go of me you monster! LET GO!"

I couldn't believe it, so she was actually aiming for my life.

I threw her away once again, worsening her injuries.

"Since you refuse to comply, then you shall die as a traitor." I hissed.

Sharpening my claws, i almost slashed her head off if it wasn't for my beta's insolent behavior of butting in once again.

"Alpha! Calm down, we can't deal any more damages at this moment!"

"MOVE!" I threatened him, my eye darkening.

He raises both of his hands as if to defend the traitor. "I know she doesn't deserve to live since she obviously plotted to kill you, but we still have to investigate this matter about the thing she made you drink, she's one of the people that could know how to detoxify it."

I stepped back, growling lowly at his statement. "Do you think a poison could kill me?"

He shook his head. "That's not it, as you've said the heavens is eyeing you for trouble. If they're the one responsible for this, then you're seriously in danger."

My mind shifted once again at the girl from my memories, i closed my eyes in frustration.

"Why?! WHY AM I NOT DEAD?!" She hysterically screams, crazily talking to herself.

Looking at her right now, just this once, i'll let this girl go.

"I'm not sure what kind of liquid is it, but i'm sure it's not poison." I clarified. "It made me recall some things, the things that i probably have forgotten before my disappearance."

His eyes widened. "So? what did you remember?"

"Kill me, kill me please.." She grabs her hair furiously, interrupting our conversation.

"Before that, take that bitch to Maria. I'm gonna handle her personally later." I glared at Brianna, looking at her pathetic state, i couldn't help but feel annoyed.

Tch, she's just a crazy bitch after all.
