I glared at him, my eyes filled with hatred towards him. "shut up, i just want to see him!"
My heart tightened at the thought of seeing him, scared that he might go farther away from me if i don't try to reach out to him from a large wall between us. The wall that Alpha Jason has built.
He sighs, closing his eyes in frustration. "Let him go, even i can't persuade him to choose you."
I gasped, my voice cracking in pain. "N-No.. he must have a reason for breaking me like this."
I kneeled in front of him, making him surprised.
"Please! Please! just this once! i have to see him, please i beg you." I cried, forcing myself to blurt out those shameful words against him.
He hurriedly comes to me, helping me to stand up. "Stop it! don't lower yourself like this so easily, he won't like it."
I pushed his hand away. "THEN LET ME SEE HIM! IS THAT SO HARD?!"
I gripped the soil below me, my tears falling on it, i couldn't stop myself sobbing hard in front of him. As couldn't even feel my legs anymore as if i was starting to feel numb from the continuous pain i had to endure these past days.
My vision started to blur, i couldn't even see what's ahead of me as i continued to beg the Alpha of Bluestone pack. "Please.. please don't let him go to war. There's no point! he'll die! please i beg you, i'll do anything! just don't send him with you to die!"
"Look" He sighs. "Even if i send him away, he'll come back to my side. You know him, once he made up his mind, there's no going back."
I shook my head, my heart-wrenching in pain as i refused to believe anything he said, forcing myself to believe that i still had hope to bring him back.
"The war will start tomorrow." He kneels in front of me, leveling our eyes. "I wasn't planning on giving this to you, but your mate said you were the perfect candidate for this."
He gives me an unknown bottle.
"What's this?" I asked confused, my voice a little haggard from crying.
"It's calli potion, if you ever cross paths with the AlphaKing, make him drink this."
"Is this some kind of poison?" I looked at him with disbelief. "Are you kidding me? you want me to get involved in your useless war?!"
He laughs. "No, i said 'if' so it's up to you whatever decision you come up with, remember to make him drink this after the war ends."
Angry at his request, i threw the potion, breaking it into pieces.
"Ah.. i knew you'll do that." He sighs, pulling out another replicate of the bottle. "This came from Rick, he entrusted you to do the job, if you don't want to you can throw it again, let's leave it to fate when that time comes."
After saying those words, he finally leaves. I gripped the bottle in my hands, remembering Rick's stubborn behavior just like the Alpha said. It was true that once Rick made his mind, there was no stopping him. Finally realizing my own standing, i raised myself up, turning my back where i hoped to see him for the last time.
I was about to leave if it wasn't for a sudden realization that i never got to ask Alpha Jason about the calli potion and what will it exactly do to the Alpha King.

"I've finally reached this far, i can't waste any more time," I muttered under my breath, looking at the bottle in my hands.
I'm still uncertain about the contents of the bottle for i tried investigating about it, even buying witches to study it but even they couldn't specify what kind of potion it was. That uncertainty left me to hesitate every time i thought of giving it to the Alpha King.
I even went as far as to force my brother to form a marriage pact with that disgusting pack.
All for my dead mate.
My tears fall. "If i make him drink this, i'll die right? That's what you want? you want me to see you soon?" I sobbed, hugging the only thing that made me stay in this wrenched world.
Standing up, i went towards the bathroom, rinsing my face to clean myself up. When i looked towards my reflection, i could only laugh at my pathetic state. This cycle of breakdowns never stopped after his death, it was an unending cycle that pained me whenever i'm reminded by that day.
"Today, i have to make him drink this. I can't take it anymore." I said to myself, persuading myself to do the deed today.
After dressing myself neatly enough, i barged out of my own room. On my way, i didn't bother to talk to anyone who approached me, my goal was the only thing on my mind.
My goal of definitely reuniting with my mate.
I was stopped when i felt a hand grip my arm, it was my brother.
"Where are you going? you've been locked in your room for the whole day and now you're going where?"
I yanked my hand back. "Somewhere fun."
"What?" His eyes widen. "Fun? look how exhausted you look right now, you don't look like someone who's going out for fun."
I closed my eyes, feeling frustrated by the noise that he was producing. i was literally feeling irritated by the sound of other people's voice or even how they looked at me with a grim face, judging me every time this time of the month comes.
"I'm not a kid, i can handle myself."
With that, i ignored any more comments that he was about to make, turning my heel away from him. I headed towards the enemy's territory. To the person i was engaged to, the person who killed my mate, and the sole reason of why i built up this fake facade infront of him.
I don't care about anything anymore, i just want to see him again.
Along the way, i was shocked when i saw the clouds darkened with a grim color, a pint of blood-stained in it. I stopped for a while, inspecting the unusual color of the skies. Not long after that, my eyes widened when a heavy storm pours in an instant.
It was in the middle of the day, but it was so dark that you'll mistake telling the time.
"What's this ominous feeling?" i shook my head, telling myself to focus on my goal.
I went ahead of the RedbloodMoon pack, the soil ground wet from the storm. As i got closer to the area, i saw the patrol border up ahead, i made my appearance before them. When the werewolf patrols recognized me, they abruptly stop me. "Please wait for the confirmation of your visit," He lowly growls, warning me to step back.
I growled back. "I'm engaged to the Alpha King! who are you to stop me?!"
"We have special orders to stop you, every patrol guards were exiled after they let you in, we won't make the same mistake to anger the AlphaKing." He said before ignoring my presence once again.
I cursed under my breath, turning away from them as i left their spot.
That arrogant guy never fails to irritate me, i really hate him- NO I DESPISE HIM!
Thankfully i once saw a spot to get inside the Redbloodmoon, a document inside his office. It was a hidden road for the alpha king to come and go whenever he wants, the place beside the CentralCity. So i went there, running with my wolf form to get there as quickly as i can.
Bingo.
When i saw the hidden canal, i didn't hesitate to jump down. Then i used my sense of smell to follow along the tracks that might lead me inside the pack. I almost got lost but thankfully i heard a familiar loud noise coming from one side, making me think that noisy place is probably where a temperament Alpha King would be.
At the end of the path, there was a door.
I heard his voice and his beta.
"We're getting reports from all around the continent that the skies is emitting an ominous aura, even the Dark witches agreed on this. AlphaKing, what should we do?" Beta Jaxon says, a worried tone in his voice.
What's this, i never thought he had a hidden tunnel that leads to his room, is he an idiot or just lazy?
"It must be that old hag's doing, who else is able to control the skies?" Alpha King Zyrus scoffs. "Why are they even annoying me for such useless matter? do they think i'm always responsible for such misfortunes happening?"
They aren't wrong you fucker, you're a monster that shouldn't have been born, i thought angrily.
I breathe in and out, calming myself.
Taking the bottle, i placed the contents inside my mouth, completely aware that he might sense me any minute now. and when i heard their conversation suddenly went silent, i already guessed that they sensed me.
The door quickly opens, an angry Alpha King stands before me.
"You-"
Before he finishes his statement, i cupped his cheeks into my hands, kissing him in action, i forced him to drink the liquid inside of my mouth.
