Chapter 138

1600words
Just the thought of it angered me, i roared in fury. My body quickly appearing next to the Great White witch, I held her neck in a death grip in an instant.

"How dare you filthy demon! L-Let go of me!" She screams in pain, my grip tightening around her neck.

Every single attack suddenly stopped, for they feared that their spells may accidentally inflict pain on the Great White witch. Fortunately, their spells were too low level for it to even scratch me. It was really ridiculous how low the White witches have deteriorated so far.

"Look at you, how are you any different from demons?" I snickered, my devilish smile sending shivers to her spine. "Even the heavens wants me to kill all of you."

"T-The gods will kill you! How dare a dem-" She gasps, my hand going through her abdomen.

"Shhh." I leaned in her ear. "What are you saying? i know you're fully aware that those gods can't touch me."

Her eyes widen, she started to shake in fear when i pulled my hand away from her abdomen, Laughing at her state, i licked my hands, immediately spitting it out after.

  I scowled. "Disgusting blood."

"P-Please, don't kill me." She barely say in a whisper as she sat on the ground. "I'll give you anything you want."

I laughed hysterically. "Do you jest? How can i trust you again after breaking the promise we made? you can't even abide a simple request, so just how do you have the audacity to ask for my mercy?" I grabbed her face violently.

Looking at her, was just simply pathetic. It was obvious that the gods had abandoned even the White witches.

"S-Soul binding spell. it's the rarest spell that we have."

My eyebrow arched. "I've never heard of such a thing."

"It's a double-edged spell, that's why it's not sought after." She says, her eyes filled with hope. "I know this might help you, you just want that girl right?"

I released my hand from her face, looking at her with distrust.

"A double-edged spell might help me? how ridiculous." I glared at her. "I will let you offer me two valuable things, so i could forgive this betrayal."

When i looked behind us, i was surprised that the other witches still held back even when their leader was pushed to this state. Do they not have pride in their race? Is this really the true nature of White witches? They judge other species based on their own ethics, yet they can't even protect themselves like this.

It's sickening how these creatures surrounding me is similar to those in hell.

"It will surely help you." she reassures me. "The soul binding spell is the most high-level seal magic that can entrap two souls, binding it so they can be one through death."

It surely is an interesting spell.

"Oh? so how do you plan for me to take it?"

"If you take it with that girl, she will die too after you do. Isn't it a perfect way to die along with your loved one?" She says, obviously trying to mess with me when she mentioned killing her once again.

I felt my eyes burned in fury, bloodlust starting to ooze from me as i looked at her. Slowly walking towards her, she pathetically crawls back away from me, casting spells that didn't even hurt me. When i reached her, i stepped on her back, breaking it in the process.

She screams in pain. "H-How dare you!!!"

I laughed. "What? Do you think nature magic can hurt me? you know that demon aura can repel any light natured magic right? just how stupid did you become to be aimlessly attacking me right now?"

I grabbed her hair brutishly, she cries in pain.

  "Give me the spell."

She hurriedly raises her hand, casting magic to make a bottle appear from her hands. When i saw it, i didn't think twice to grab it, immediately taking it with me. "Good, now i can forgive you."

She looks at me with a concerned face. "i have only offered one.."

"No." I smiled. "You offered two things, although the second one is not that valuable."

She trembled, her eyes screaming in fear as if she knew what i was talking about. "N-No!"

I shook my head. "You don't get to negotiate with me, remember your place."

Looking at her disheveled appearance, and blood dripping from her abdomen, i couldn't help but scowl at her unsightly appearance, disgusted that such a person tried to kill my loved one.

I grabbed her neck, not a pint of mercy inside of me. "With this, i already forgiven you. You filthy witch."

Then i snapped it slowly, her screams making me satisfied. When she finally went silent, i slashed her head off its place, throwing it towards the other White witches.

The skies was suddenly covered in billowing clouds that pulsed with power, the heavenly aura started to dissipate around us. Making me wary that the heavens were responding to the Great White witch's death. The other White witches started to flee from fear, each of them disappearing from my sight.

Was the heavens so easily manipulated? Something really is happening in the realms, just like the lord of hell advised.

"This is not something within my plans, but it's not a bad thing after all." I smirked, ascending above using my wings, the skies turned a mix of bloody red just like my demonize form.

  "Soon, this shall all end."

"I won't forgive him." I cried, holding onto the only memo i had with my mate.

Our photo together, i embraced it just like how i always do in the same day, every month from the day he died.

I continuosly wiped my tears, wishing that my tears would just stop. It was the it's already been 32 months since his death, yet i still couldn't take that he is already so far away from me. I glared at the moon, my anger towards the moon goddess for giving me such cruel desitiny to live on without him.

i sipped the bottle of champagne on my hand.

If only he didn't go to that war, the he wouldn't have died by the Alpha king's hand. Even retrieving his body was impossible after the war, they burned his body and threw it away!

  How dare him.

  HOW DARE HIM!

I would never forgive him, the day my mate died is when the day i promised that i would do everything to take revenge.

Standing up, i headed towards the drawer. I opened it and pulled the calli potion that the bluestone alpha gave me before the war that happened years ago.

I suddenly remembered the day he offered me an odd way of supporting me, even though i never met him before.

  Alpha Jason of Bluestone Pack.

"Rick! i don't allow you to go to war! You know that's suicide!" I pleaded to my mate, grabbing his shoulder in fear. The tears continued to flow from my eyes as i looked at his avoiding gaze. "You'll never win against that monster!"

He pulls my hands off him.

"Brianna, before i offered my love for you, i have offered my life to Alpha Jason." He says, a pang of guilt coated in his words. "You do not have to forgive me,i only want you grant my selfish wish for you to continue to live on."

He embraces me, and i screamed in agony, i gripped his back tightly as i begged for him not to go. "No! No! NO I DON'T WANT THAT! i haven't even introduced you to my parents! we never got the chance to announce our love."

My eyes widened when i realized the reason why he always avoided the topic of living with me, it was due to the fact that he already decided his path long before we met.

He closed his eyes, turning his back on me.

"I, Rick of Bluestone pack, reject you as my mate from this day on."

It was that moment that break my heart into pieces, my knees wobled when i felt the thousand electricity going through my body. Yet nothing was more painful than his back that refused to look at me. Even when i tried calling for him, he refused to look at me.

He walks away from me, leaving me screaming his name on the ground.

After that day, i never got to see him again. Still i hoped to see him even though he had already rejected me, my feet leading me into the gates of bluestone pack. When i called for him for an official visit, i was surprised to see the Alpha coming to see me personally.

"Alpha Jason, i beg you to let me see Rick." I pleaded my knees on the ground. "Please, don't let him join the war, it will only bring his death."

  "So you're saying we'll lose?"

I don't know where my confidence came from, but i boldly glared at him. Anger was swelling inside of me at the thought of my mate dying because of this useless war. "I'm sure you'll lose, even with all the packs combined, it's not easy to take that monster down."

  He laughs, unexpectedly.

"It's not a matter of losing, it's a matter of helping to reduce threats that could harm our princess" He smiles.

  What?

  "What princess?!"

"It's not something like for you to understand." He replied.
