My jaw drops instantly, horrified at the words he just spouted towards me. I coughed uncomfortably as i realized just how many people is looking at us right now. I mean who would blame my anxiousness? The Alpha King just had to interrupt an area filled with thousandths of werewolves.
Just what kind of complicated predicament is this?!
"Alpha King, it's not wise to leave alpha Damien here.."
It's not wise since i'll be the one troubled with incoming complaints towards this biased behavior towards the 5th level trainee, Just when the rumors died down that Redbloodmoon was protecting her, he decided to carry her personally in his arms.
Ah i'm going insane.
"Tch." His face filled with annoyance.
'ahhh don't tch me alpha!!' i cried in my thoughts.
He turned away from us, Damien already being carried by me, i glanced towards one of my men, ushering them about telling the administrators to discuss today's matters in another date. The whole arena stood quietly with their faces plastered with confusion.
I mean who would not? The alpha king himself carried a werewolf!! A ROGUE ONE AT THAT! Just imagine the mountain pile of work i'll be welcoming after all this.
Just the thought of if make me want to smash my head.
When we were finally able to exit the arena, Alphaking decided to run straight to the pack doctor in Delta. His steady movements being careful not to injure the person he's carrying. As we arrived, he kicks the door open.
Every staff looked at us in shock.
"Where is the doctor?" He said nonchalantly.
'Ahhh don't just kick the other then say that in such a calm manner!!' I thought embarrassedly.
"A-Alpha king? i'm sorry, the doctor-"
He glares at the nurse, the heavy tension in the air made everyone flinch in fear. The girl immediately kneeled. "F-Forgive me! i shall call him right this moment!"
And she rushed out immediately.
One of the staff welcomes us in with grace, and AlphaKing genuinely asked for a two-bedroom, the staff nodding at his request, leading us to a room worth the Alpha King's stay. A completely furnished VIP room, prepared for us. As we went inside the room, He lays the shewolf carefully on the bed, fixing her hair in the process.
I was about to lay Alpha Damien down if it wasn't for Alpha Zyrus stopping me.
My eyebrow arched. ".. ?"
"What are you doing?"
"Huh? I'm laying Alpha Damien to his bed."
He glared at me, his face obviously filled with discontent. "His room is not here, the room is already full. Get his dirty body away from the bed this instant."
w-what?
I looked at the two beds, obviously prepared for the two patients that we brought here, i don't understand why would he tell me that the room is full?! There's obviously one spot for Alpha Damien!!
While carrying Alpha Damien, i anxiously asks. "I don't understand Alpha, didn't we get a two bedroom just for these two?"
"What? When did i ever say that?"
"W-Well, i assumed so?"
He crosses his arms. "You're the one who decided to bring that lunatic along, so you should bear responsibility in providing him care."
I looked at the injured lunatic he was talking about, 'Arghh he totally doesn't care about Alpha Damien!!'
"Yes Alpha." I bowed, my eyes landing on the blood that was dripping from Alpha Damien.
"Tch, get someone to clean that filthy blood on the floor."
F-Filthy!!!!?!
"Get out already, don't dirty our room." He adds, turning his back to me once again to wipe the she-wolf's body once again.
O-OUR ROOM?!!
No matter how much i think about it, the alpha King is really acting too much just for a rogue!!!
My eyes refused to look at how our cold-hearted alpha king is personally nursing a rogue, i almost poked my eyeballs just to erase this uneasiness inside of me. Quickly turning away from the scene, i obeyed his orders and got another room for Alpha Damien.
I finally laid him down a bed in a separate room.
"He's an alpha from Crescentine Pack, Please treat his injuries with care." I said at the nurse beside me, she nodded in return.
Going back at the room with AlphaKing once again, i was surprised to see the pack doctor kneeling in forgiveness towards the AlphaKing. His eyes furiously burning with anger at the sight of the doctor. I quickly made my way in and inspected the scene.
What happened? Did the pack doctor tried something?
"Alpha? What happened?! did he attack-"
"YOU DARE TOUCH HER!" AlphaKing Zyrus fumes, his eyes darkening.
"I-I was just inspecting other injuries! please forgive me!" He cries, snot from his face dripping.
I was so shocked when i finally realized what was going on, looking at the doctor's hand that was bleeding and his threatening words towards him, it must only mean one thing.
He's just being too possessive!!!
"I already told you all the places where her injuries are located! How dare you inspect her body!" He said before gripping his neck in anger.
I quickly tried to stop him, pulling his hand away with force. "Alpha! Don't! He's the only doctor in Delta right now!"
STOPPP!! YOU'RE ADDING ANOTHER PILE OF WORK FOR MEE!!
He growls towards him before letting him go, wiping his hands after. "Summon a female doctor right now, if she doesn't get here in 10 minutes, you're head will be rolling."
"Eekkk!!" The doctor backs off, scared at the anger of the Alpha King.
He runs away to get the female doctor that the alpha requested, Alpha King once again nursing her like nothing just happened earlier.
"Alpha, just what did you do that for? He was just doing his job." I tried to reach out.
"Shut up."
I immediately zip my mouth off, praying that he calms his anger.
"She's already healing well, i don't think it's necessary for that doctor to inspect her any further." He said, clearly annoyed at the thought of others touching her.
I still don't get it.
Why is he so possessive of her? Recently he even angrily gave me permission to undo the protection on her, so i thought there really was nothing between them. But right now, it looks like it was just a lover's quarrel.
I sighed, my head banging from frustration.
Oh right i still have to report about Alpha Damien.
"AlphaKing, Alpha Damien's injuries also seemed to be healing normally too."
"Did i ask?" He glared at me. "Tch he didn't die then."
'Arghh why does he want his student to die?!!!'
"Why are you so angry at him Alpha?"
"Do i need a reason? He was a bastard back then, he still hasn't changed." He nodded to himself, as if he was recalling his memories.
Just how exactly they met?
I wanted to ask, yet i'm more concerned that he might vent his anger on me if i continue to say Alpha Damien's name any further. I mean who wouldn't be scared at him right now?
Wait he's been a walking bomb ever since he was born, so what the hell am i saying?
"Should i send word to Crescentine?"
He smirks evilly. "Not yet, i have to interrogate and punish that kid."
Punish?!
Oh right he bribed the administrator so he could join the arena, it was against the rules. But was is necessary to do it personally?
"Why? Delta could handle this matter, we don't need to do it ourselves-"
"Ha?" He says, his face turning into a smiling demon. "You think i'll let him go without a scratch after what he has done to her?"
SO IT WAS BECAUSE OF THAT?! THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON?!!
I face-palmed myself, completely exhausted from assuming too much when the truth was this so simple; he simply hated anyone touching her.
"A-Are we even allowed to punish Alpha Damien?" I sweated anxiously.
"Who says i can't?
"B-But rules?" i blurted out hesitantly, closing my eyes in return.
'Argh what rules are you talking about Jaxon. the day he was titled the Alpha King, rules have ceased to exist whenever he was pissed at something' I thought, already having thoughts of just killing myself from my own stupidity.
I coughed. "Forget what i said, i shall tell my man to prepare for his interrogation room in maria."
He looks at me puzzled, his eyes looking at me with 'Are you dumb?'
"Alpha? Did i say something wrong?"
"I don't have the energy to waste time to go back to maria, i have to stay here with her after all."
'You're planning on staying?! what about work?!!! arghh just kill me already!!' I thought excessively.
"T-Then?" i asked confused.
"I'll just go right now."
My eyes widened, still not understanding his statement. Firstly, Alpha Damien isn't even awake nor he said he doesn't have the energy to go back to the pack.
He stands up, "So where is that bastard staying?"
"Alpha?"
A dark and gloomy aura surrounds him, making me flinch in horror.
