"Tsk i don't like this fight," I muttered.
Beta Jaxon comes beside me. "Wow, She's good, guess she'll last before the Monthl-"
I glared furiously at Jaxon, disliking his mockery tone against her.
"-y trials THAT she will definitely win!" His sweat dripping from anxiousness.
"What do you think about her fighting style?"
"I don't know know what she's thinking, she obviously can't use her werewolf form, giving her a huge disadvantage against her opponent, what's more is Alpha Damien's body is more durable than hers." he shook his head in disappointment.
"I asked for her fighting style, not her disadvantages."
"Right." he scratches the back of his head, before looking towards the arena. "Well she knows the basics, attack/counterattack, block or evade. She's easy to read, but because of her speed, her opponents often forget that they hold the better advantage in terms of physical endurance. i wouldn't say that she's easy to beat too, even when her technique is kinda reckless, but she's pretty flexible, and she adapts quite easily too."
I nodded in agreement.
Her fighting style is not really that bad, seeing that she lacks the knowledge in combat ability yet have a good foundation, just means that she's been honing her skills just like a wild animal in a forest.
Struggling to survive.
But why would a demi-god struggle to survive? i don't make sense.
"That's right, she only have a good combat foundation, comparing her to Damien is an obvious analysis. I don't think she'll win against him like this." I said worriedly, my eyes looking down.
"I don't know about that.." He trailed off, his eyes locked in the arena. "I think she just almost killed Damien."
What?
My eyes shot towards the stage, seeing Damien falling back as his wound in his chest drips continuously. He growls towards her, muttering words not enough for me to hear due to the loud chattering of the audience in the arena. Both of them had an equal amount of wounds but because of that attack, looks like she'll gain the upper hand from here on.
"What happened? Why did Alpha Damien shift back?" Beta jaxon asks confused.
"I don't get it either, there's no way his healing ability wouldn't heal that kind of wound. Just what is happening?"
Almost all of the audience gasps in horror when Damien forces his hands inside his abdomen, still had the energy to smile while doing so. I still couldn't get why would Damien be beaten so easily despite knowing his true capabilities.
This is not him.
"Look, his losing too much blood." He says beside me, pointing at Damien at the exact moment when he decided to run towards her, also returning the wound he was given to.
My fists balled, feeling anger at the sight of him injuring her.
"Ohh he still got speed aye."
My eyes widened when he falls directly on her after inflicting the wound as if he no longer had control of his body. They both rolled towards one of the directions of the barrier, her head slamming against it.
"What? what kind of technique is that? did he throw himself at his opponent? Did you teach him that too?" He looks at me.
I glared at him.
".. Guess not." He sighs. "Looks like he gave everything to that last attack, he looks like his gonna die. Just what the hell is happening? His wound won't stop dripping."
I looked at her wound worriedly, seeing her grab her chest with an anxious face, i almost wanted to come inside and kick that kid's butt for harming her, but i couldn't do so. Not when i clearly don't get why I'm having such weird feelings towards her.
My eyes widened when she coughs up blood, Damien laughing at her state.
"This doesn't look like a duel anymore, this is a deathmatch. Look AlphaKing their wounds are not healing, there must be something wrong inside." Jaxon says, his eyes filled with suspicions.
"Ooohh that was a hard kick." He adds.
I accidentally clapped, his attention immediately going towards me.
"Did you just.. clap?"
".... It was a good kick." I said, diverting my gaze.
He tried to laugh but i elbowed him hard enough for him to fall on his knees.
"Ah damn! i can't breathe!" He overreacts.
Just when did this guy become this noisy? I don't recall him being this type of chatty person after all. Did something happen to him while i was gone?
Should i just send him far north?
....
No, i still don't have a gamma to do that.
My attention shifts to the fight once again, looking at the situation, my eyebrow arched in confusion.
It was true, their wound aren't healing.
Not just that, Damien's behavior is unusual. Why did he decide to join the arena? for fun? Is it really a coincidence that he happened to fight her like this?
Looking at his expressions, he looked like he held a grudge against her.
Everyone chattered in anticipation when both of them stood once again, their body in a bad state, they exhaustedly tried to initiate an attack once again. Unfortunately, before they could even do so, one of them falls first, losing unconsciousness.
Damien.
I smirked, "She won."
Jaxon stands up, panting hard. "Wow, she beat his ass, that's embarrassing."
i nodded, he just became alpha and he decided to show off his skills? that must be it. Looks like he still hasn't changed at all, always underestimating his opponent.
"I'll give him a good scolding later."
I'll beat his ass once again.
The audience wasn't pleased with the outcome, all of them cursing towards her, my anger grew when i heard their conversations around me, my eyes darkening.
"Tsk i lost my money, that bitch didn't deserved to win."
"She probably cheated, didn't you notice weird about their wounds? The fight also ended earlier than expected."
"I can't believe this, are they even sure that Alpha Damien was in a condition to fight?" They laughed, their evil fucking mouths chattering all over the place.
Not being able to take it anymore, i grabbed one guy, and gripped his neck hard enough for him to scream in fear.
"Repeat that you fucking mutt." I seethe, my grip tightening around his neck.
Jaxon tried to stop me. "Alpha King! Calm down! you can't kill him here!"
Everyone around us started to finally realize my identity, cowering in fear, they pushed amongst themselves to farther their distance away from me. The noise-reducing in an instant, as they all diverted their attention towards me.
"I hate stupid weaklings like you. You can't even acknowledge the truth so you chose to spout shit? I don't think i a mutt like you would serve any importance to any pack." i growled.
"F-Forgive me!" He cries, his hand shaking as he held my hand gripping his neck. "I acknowledge her! i Acknowledge her!"
Tsk.
Finally calming my nerves, i threw him the farthest away from me, his head cracking at the impact.
"Alpha! You still killed him!" He whispers worriedly beside me.
"So? I don't see any reason why i should let him live." I seethe, looking around me, all of them looked away when i tried making eye contact to any one of them.
All of their mouth shut.
A guy jumps from above. "Alpha King," He bows anxiously. "We weren't informed you'll be inspecting the arena."
"Do i need your permission?"
"N-No! not all, we just thought that we could've prepared a much cozy place for you to stay." his sweat rolls down from the side of his face.
Ignoring his stupid face, i looked once again at the stage. My eyes widened in surprised when i saw her sprawled on the ground
She also lost consciousness?
"Where's the pack doctor?"
"Pardon? for what Alpha King?" He said stupidly.
I glared. "It's useless talking to a bird brain like you, I'll handle it."
Shoving his mutt face away, Jaxon followed alongside me as we entered the stage, the barrier dissipating before my arrival.
"Alpha King, what were you thinking?" He cries silently alongside me. "How could you interrupt the arena? I'll get another pile of complaints after this."
"If you don't want to work, no one's forcing you."
He groans in frustration
I walked towards her, not minding Damien when i stepped all over his body since he was blocking the way. Leaning in, i carefully pulled her arms, lifting her legs, and finally carrying her in my arms. I frowned at the sight of blood, her wound finally healing yet it was slow.
I looked at Damien, his wounds also started to heal.
"Alpha, where are we gonna take them?" He asks, carrying Damien by his arm.
I arched an eyebrow. "Oh? We'll take him too?"
"Alpha!" Jaxon whispers angrily. "If we don't take him too, they'll think you have a relationship with her."
My face scrunched in annoyance. "So what? Just leave him there to die."
