"I'll do it." I sighed. "But-"
I was about to talk about other conditions about the trials when the door slammed open. I looked behind and saw the AlphaKing, Zyrus.
My eyes widened.
"I've called you 3 times beta, how long would you make me wait?" He said irked.
Both Syrena and i froze on the spot.
"I'm Sorry AlphaKing but i was evaluating a special examiner that's why it took some time." He stood up and bows.
"Special examiner?" Zyrus aproaches us. He stops in front of me, eyeing me suspiciously. He held my chin. "You feel familiar Trainee."
I coughed, backing away a bit from him. He might just discover me!
"AlphaKing, i pay my respects to you and to the pack." I bowed, trying to divert his attention from my familiarness.
"Another suicide attempt?" Zyrus chuckles. "Kids don't ever learn."
I rolled my eyes secretly. Oh how i wish i could smack his head.
He strides towards Beta Jaxon and takes the report he was holding about me. He scans it and looks at me warily. "Not bad."
I gulped.
"When is the next trials?" Zyrus asks Jaxon.
"About 3 weeks from now."
"Good. Send her to my office from now on, i'll evaluate her before her trials."
WHAT?! I mean i did hope to be by his side but i didn't expect it to be sooner.
"Pardon?" Jaxon eyebrow furrowed. "Why would the AlphaKing personally evaluate a special examiner?"

Zyrus didn't look fazed by the suspicion beta Jaxon threw at him and just walked towards me. He was about three steps away from me when he said. "I still can't believe the fact that a rogue wants to take the monthly trials. And looking at her physique." He eyes me up and down. "You're no match for her Beta Jaxon."
Jaxon's eyes glared towards mine. "What? I'm no match for a 5th level?"
"Have i ever been wrong?" Zyrus sighs. "My senses must have been reduced slightly from being locked away from that place for too long, but my instincts never fail me. Much less my observations towards a warrior's physique." He glares towards me.
"I-I don't have bad intentions!" I defended myself.
Zyrus glares at me. "Don't even try anything rogue."
Damn, how can my report say that i'm a rogue? Even my scent is similar to a rogue. I should've considered masking it with a pack scent. Now he's being wary of me!
"Then she's yours AlphaKing." Beta Jaxon sighs and sat on his seat.
Syrena looks a bit disturbed that everything was happening too soon as we expected, yet she gave me a reassuring smile and excused herself from the office. Zyrus and i also left the office and i followed him towards his.
Looking at his back, i wanted to hug him.
"3 steps back." He commands angrily as i got nearer to him. I gulped and listened to him.

The whole day with Zyrus wasn't so bad at all, he was just being TOO mean all the fucking time and wouldn't stop branding me as a 'disgusting rogue'. He would also often make me do labor outside of my expertise as a trainee. It looked like he was having a personal grudge or something.
As the days went by just like that, i was on the edge of losing it so i barged my way into his office, to my surprise.
i saw a she-wolf inside.
"don't you have manners?" She says arrogantly. "Can't you see we're in the middle of a conversation?"
I ignored her remarks and closed the door behind me. My vision becomes blurry from anger. Sister of the SilverFang Alpha, Brianna. Just looking at her makes me sick. How dare she claim my mate.
"Didn't you hear what i said?" She angrily steps forward in front of me.
i swear if she lays a hand of me, her head would be flying.

"Stop it." Zyrus commands both of us. "Both of you clearly doesn't have manners, barging in my room like you own it." he lowly growls.
i snorted as i looked at this bitch.
She glares at me.
Zyrus must've noticed my behavior, making him step towards me. "I guess i lacked disciplining you."
"What? why are you only punishing me? didn't she barged in like i did?" i shot back.
"Well duh, it's because i'm his soon-to-be Luna." She chuckles towards me, locking her arms around Zyrus.
The sight in front of me burned me in jealousy that i almost exposed my identity. I tried my best to calm myself down even when Zyrus didn't deny her remark. I clutched my fists hard enough for it to bleed.
"Go report to Jaxon, he'll handle you for the meanwhile," he says.
i rolled my eyes at him and turned away.
"Did you just rolled your eyes?!" Brianna angrily says even after i walked away from them. before i could truly close the door i heard Zyrus say.
"Let her go."
