i felt sorry for leaving Herus' body there, seeing that Charles would be coming home to see that his brother was killed- probably he'll suspect me of doing so.
I ran with all my might, as expected he also followed me.
'Are you insane?! go away from him! he's really gonna kill us!'
Ignoring Gina's whims, we were met with several vampire trying to block our path, thankfully most of them targeted Zyrus that i was able to get away from my mate at the moment. I know that he could handle all those guys by himself, and seeing that he wants to kill me right now, it makes sense for me to avoid him for a while and figure out a way to unseal those memories.
forget about confronting Charles, he won't listen to me anyway.
I was finally out of the forest after breaking the illusionary barrier around the place, i never thought it would be so easy to do anything after awakening.
'He's no longer around here, he probably went back to his pack.'
[Yeah i can sense that also.]
'What? are you disappointed he didn't went mad looking after you?'
[Shut up, it makes sense since he doesn't remember me. That's why we're gonna make him remember us.]
I smirked.
After dying, my head was clear as water. I finally came to my senses about my objectives, and the only way to do that is to have him by my side.
No running away anymore.
Days passed by after that day, i've gone into hiding as i planned how to do things before i come back yet i could still not decide anything at all. I laid my back on the bed as i stared at the ceiling.
The apartment was owned by Athena, i was lucky that i happen to bump into her manager, he gave me the key and that he told me that Athena told her to do so if she ever comes back.
Well i'm not Athena though.
I slowly got up when i realised that i suddenly wanted a coffee, i took a shower and dressed normally like a human. After that, i left the building and headed towards Starbucks.
I glanced back as i tried to sense how many vampires were following me, it's probably the men of Charles.
I went inside the store, bought a coffee, and sat on a seat right next to the window. Sipping my coffee, i glared at one of the vampires just outside the store.
"He sent 50 men after me, is he mocking me?" i chuckled.
Now that i think about, aren't i close to Delta Training Grounds? The east forest is just right next to it. Should i lure some mouse into the trap?
i smirked.
Getting up, i placed my finished coffee on the table and went straight to the toilet. Thankfully there was a huge ass window inside that i was able to fit in nicely, avoiding the front door where most of them is guarding right now.
I walked around the store and finally caught their attention when they realised i got out from another exit. "I'm here idiots." I smiled at them.
Without any reaction, they immediately ran after me, my speed doubling theirs, it was obvious that they could never outrun me with their puny speed. I was leading them right into the forest, where i plan to lead them to their deaths.
I noticed that they couldn't match my speed, that's why i voluntarily slowed down to lure them more.
"I'm not going back with you." i glared at the guy beside me.
He tried to grabbed me but failed when i dodged his arm swiftly. The other guys tried to attack me all at once by throwing themselves towards me, unfortunately for them, speeding up was no problem for me.
They all fell helplessly yet got back on their feet.
That's right, keep chasing the mouse.
When the barrier of the DELTA came into view, i saw several guard borders and werewolves.
The guys behind me wasn't paying attention at all, they all barged in with me when we reached the border. Several werewolves instantly attacked us.
They all got caught while i was able to run away from the wolves successfully, i got up the tree and observed from a far.
"okay! the cats have been caught!" i chuckled.
'how childish' Gina laughs with me.
"Who knew RedbloodMoon's territory has a very weak defense system." i sighed.
My eyes widened, when i suddenly sensed 20 werewolves and a witch around me, they all came falling from above.
They instantly stood around my tree and growled towards me.
"Trespasser, get down or be killed instantly." Syrena's voice appears.
I jumped down and ignored the werewolves growls and went straight to Syrena. "Missed me?"
"Christal! What the hell are you doing here?! quickly go! don't come back unless i tell you to-"
"Woah woah!" i said, the werewolves looking at us weirdly. "Before i hear your explanation, mind letting us have some private space?"
She sighed. "I'll handle this. Go back to your posts."
They all nodded, but before they could leave, i erased a small amount of memory from them.
"That'll protect me from Zyrus for a small amount of time."
She shook her head. "As i said, you shouldn't have come back, it looks like he lost his memory of you. i almost got killed yesterday by mentioning you."
"Is he ok?"
She looks at me baffled. "Is he ok?- No wait, Luna he has all the energy to kill you right now."
i laughed.
"I'm serious, i tried breaking the seal but i just couldn't." She said in frustration.
"Well i also can't break my own seal you see. I only remember the things before the Great White BItch tried to kill me."
She looks at me. "It's great to see you're fine."
"You too Witch."
She chuckled. It has been so long that this conversion made me relieved a bit, as if we were back to those times when my mate locked me up in this pack. We walked for awhile and talked about the situations recently.
"He killed Herus?!"
"Yeah." i said in dismay, a little sad since it happened not too long ago. "i'm not sure what Charles did to us, but i suspect it has something to do with Demonic Energy right?"
Her eyes widened. "i couldn't tell. Since you awakened it looks like everything was even more heightened."
"Yeah i feel like Saitama, but you know just with magical powers."
She arched her brow.
"Never mind." I laughed, damn i hate being too much of a weeb.
"I don't know how you'll react but you should know that the AlphaKing is finding a White Wolf." She said.
"What?"
I couldn't believe it, the next thing he would do after coming back is to find his mate? I mean he was away for such a long time, he really has time to do that?
somehow i feel irritated.
"Gotta try his best then, since he would never find his mate." i smirked.
Unfortunately, Syrena's next words almost made me faint from shock.
"He found somebody Christal, and it's not you."
