I was looking all over the place, wondering where those two could have been. As i gave up, i walked downstairs and headed to the door. I was surprised to see Christal standing infront of the door that my soul almost left this world.
"FUCK!" I said surprised. "Wha the hell's wrong with-"
She suddenly grabs my collar without hesitation, her eyes fumed, and her hair started to turn white. "YOU! CHARLES'S DISEASE HASN'T BEEN CURED!"
My eyes widened. And here i thought he said he would be careful enough to not let her discover.
"Look, before all that, it seems that you awakened the demi god's soul to this extent that i could no longer sense you as a werewolf." i said, trying to change the topic.
"Answer me! what happened after he lived again?"
Damn, why is she questioning me about a lot of things i can't say. She might kill me with her glare enough already.
"Look, i warned you a lot times, but you never listened to me anyway."
It was so fast that i couldn't dodge it. She punched me so hard that i flew against her, i felt my internal organs bleeding from the impact. A tree behind me, i fell to the ground.
"You finally went insane huh?!"
She yanked my collar once again and threatened me. "i don't want to kill you but you should tell me anything if i ask you!"
"I never said i won't answer, you just went around punching me to death, i mean give me a break yeah? my brother also beats me too woman."
She glares at me.
"Ok! okay! i'll tell you"

I pushed them away and ran out towards the graveyard once again. My eyes widened when i came face to face with a man's back towards me. A 6ft guy wearing a suit, he turns towards me and i screamed in terror.
DEVIL!!

In a split second, my vision blurred and i met darkness. I felt being carried by an unfamiliar arm that made me unable to wake up from fear.
Wherever we are, it was hot as if something was continuously burning around us. Oxygen was so limited that i was forced to wake up to survive. My eyes widened, The devil was carrying me with his hand, a smile that i could never forget plastered on his face. I looked around in fear and saw thousands of unidentified souls crying out to reach us.
Hell, i thought.
I shook in fear. My thoughts running wild as to why this man was carrying me so carefully across these souls that grieved in pain. Their voice echoing through me.
| "you'll get used to it." | he smiles.
{"Mister.. Please don't take me away."} i said terrified. {"i'm sorry for wandering around too much, i was just looking for my brother."}
| "I know." | he smiles.
i was so terrified about the place that i closed my eyes throughout the walk. My senses were heightened as if my body could tell that i was in serious danger. Finally we reached to the point that the man stopped at his tracks, he placed me down. Slowly i started to open my eyes.
{"ARGH!!"} i screamed in terror after seeing a brother in flesh once again.
He was standing infront of me, alive yet there was no life in his eyes. He blankly stares at me. {"Who is this master?"}

Why is my brother alive?!

i want to go home!!!
I knew that he was my brother, but this feeling of terror that i could not suppress was beyond help. My legs shook in fear as i looked at both at them, they have both the same eyes. The devil has the same eyes as my brother!
Neverthless, seeing Charles alive was more than joy to me, that i blinded me to see the big picture. Regardless the place and the Devil beside us, all i could see is my brother who was alive and standing so well.
{"B-Brother, are you really alive??!"} Finally realising my mistake, i ran and embraced him. I cried hard enough, hugging him more tightly that i could ever could. {"I'm glad you're alive Charles."}
|"My my.. What a reunion we have here."| The Devil Says. |"Unfortunately that human have already died, this is my reborned vessel after death. That witch made things easier for me."|
{"No! you're lying!"} i said, desperate to protect him with my life, i stood infornt of him in defense against the devil. {"D-Don't come devil!"}
I never thought i would regret saying those words afterward. A day in hell was like a hundred days of torture, we were continuously tortured by the devil, eating scraps once a month, i thought i was gonna die in this horrible place, but that wasn't the worst of all. All those times, i felt alone, i couldn't identify my brother- he was so indifferent to pain that he thought it was something normal every second. I tried to tell him every moment i get, but i failed to do since the devil punishes me if i were to give my brother a pint of emotion.
it was driving me insane, that one day. I begged to the devil. {"P-Please! i'll do anything, please release me!"}
He laughs. |"You finally gave up huh? well who would think that a kid like you who grew up being loved even endure all of this? Look at my vessel, he is even unbothered if you mutilate him and reconnect it to his body. Completely immune to pain already."|
{"Anything please!"} i was desperate, my hearing was going numb, it felt like my reasoning hit rock bottom already. I was scared shitless.
What scared me the most is looking at my brother, he blankly stared at me all the time, not even muttering a single sound even at the times of torture.
|"Then choose my child, to leave alone this place or to stay here forever with your brother?"| The devil laughs evilly
I looked at my brother in terror.
|"Come on! decide! my vessel has to experience this torture."|
{"t-torture?"}
|"What else? your brother already recognized you as his own keen, betrayal would be the best torture don't you think so?"| He smiles.
{"Please.. get me out of here!"}
|"Alone?"| The Devil smiles bigger.
i dare not look at my brothers face, for i could not endure the torture anymore. It was too much for me to spend my years being tortured day by day without dying. i cried helplessly and kneeled to the devil. {"YES! PLEASE!"}
The Devil laughs so loud that it gave me chills.
Finally the Devil open a portal, i desperately ran into it as if my life depended on it. Yet something made me turn around.
A voice.
{"Brother!"} Charles cries.
i turned towards my brother, but the devil didn't give me the permission to do so, he quickly tried to close the portal, but my instincts got the best of me and i jumped in hurry to escape that damned place
but not before hearing the last heartbreaking words that i would regret for my whole life.
{"Don't leave me."}
