i breathed in, and out.
I opened my eyes, and closed them.
It was hot, i felt the drop of my sweat falling from the side of my face. My hands knotted together and i raised an eyebrow. My hands.. knotted together?
Immediately my instincts shouts right at me, my consciousness wakes up and i'm puzzled to why am i tied up in a chair while facing a large cage.
Suddenly i felt my ears rang so loud that i swear, i swear i just heard voices in pain. They were all yelling and i felt the hatred that passed along the voices.
I screamed violently.
There was no end to it! I wanted to cover my ears but my hands were tied, my head dropped as i lost hope. Dizziness strikes me and as i looked up, i saw a light in the cage.
SYRENA's POV
"There's nothing we can do about this." I frowned, trying to cover the truth.
"What? Are you saying a great witch like you can't fix what you did?!" He shouted.
After witnessing the dream-no a nightmare, i couldn't keep calm, knowing that what i saw is within her. Within the girl that the alpha king is carrying on his arms right now. Her suit was coated in blood, unconscious.
"As i've told you. I didn't know there was another spell in her. Which was dark magic, it was undetectable until the memoriae triggered it. I can't fix her with another dark magic." I gulped. "This time you need a white witch."
"You're a half!"
"You don't know that." I shook my head. "Yes i can somehow feel there is something inside me but that won't help her. I'm still a dark witch."
He curses, he strides towards the nearest bedroom and kicked the door open, placing her on the bed. I followed silently and watched as he looked at her in agony. "Do you think she'll remember what happened?"
"You mean.. recently?"
"Yes. Her rampage, her killing a hundred ogres and killing werewolves along the way.. would she remember?"
I gasped. What a tragedy, she did all of that? By herself? Nervously, i avoided eye contact with the Alpha King. Of course, she would've done that because of that thing inside of her.
Her remnants of the past was coming back at her. I can sense something bad happening in the future. One by one it's hunting her, trying to break the memoriae? But who would do that?
"Answer me or die." He growls.
"I do not have the answer Alpha King, i've never seen anyone like her with that condition." I responded quickly as i can.
I know her past, the people in it, the deeds that she did, and the sins along the journey she took in a curved path.
I hugged myself for calmness. I remember when i met the dark thing inside of her, i couldn't believe that it tried to consume me. Thankfully i escaped before i was even consumed whole. I am not going back there inside of her, something was not right.. about me.
As i thought hard about situations that can possibly help us. I was startled when i felt a humungous presence, a huge audience of witches are coming here.
White witches.
The Alpha King must have also sensed it because he immediately stood up in a defensive position. He growls as one by one they appeared in the room. "What the fuck are you all doing here."
"Greetings, Alpha King." The White witch infront of the other ones greets, she was tall and covered in a white coat, a soul crown on her head. Just like- oh no. Don't tell me this is the White Queen?!
"White Queen." He spats out.
"That's not a necessary behavior Alpha King." She chuckles. "I can come in anywhere i want, we have the Gods permission as we are the guardians of species. Now hand her over."
He growls. "MINE!"
"Are you aware of the danger that thing inside of her can cause to other species? A war can escalate and it will be all because of the girl."
My eyes couldn't believe it, she's the White Queen that everyone was yearning about, no body can see her only those who were born with royal status. It's a very rare opportunity to be able to see her, the greatest witch of all time.
I was a bit surprised when she turned to look my way.
She smirks. "Interesting soul you got there. Witch."
"Ugm thanks?" I said not sure that this was happening.
"I give you my thanks, because of you we were able to detect the soul of the dark witch which is currently inside of her. You're memoriae is a powerful one, it even awakened such evilness."
"What?"
"Oh you don't know? I know you must've been aware that a dark magic can't awaken a dark soul, but only an white witch touch that can anger an dark soul. It's like being touched by the gods."
My eyes widened. "No it doesn't work like that."
"Yes it does. As you can see that thing inside of her isn't a spell, not a soul nor shadow. It's real witch inside her, a sleeping beast that's been awakened by your touch."
This is unbelievable. A real witch is inside of her? Yes i did saw a dark entity when i looked into her but i didn't saw it clearly because it only spoke to me, i thought it was a lost soul or a part of her soul that was tainted black. But it was really witch? A living witch?
That explains her recents blackouts, even at the time when she almost died it's not because of pain that her wolf put her through, but because of that witch. But why would her wolf want to awaken that witch?
It killed a lot of ogres and werewolves, just who the hell is her wolf?
"Back to you Alpha King, we need to take her with us. That sleeping witch inside of her is of great power, it needs to be looked carefully-"
"NO. YOU'RE NOT TAKING HER." He growls violently.
"You don't want to do this again.. do you?"
"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!"
"You are breaking the law of the heavens." She raises an eyebrow.
"This is land bitch, this is my turf! Get the fuck out of it."
"Is this what i get for helping you in the past? Mr. Alpha King."
What? What are they talking about.
"Helping me? You destroyed me. Took my name and punished me."
"That's the consequences of outlaws, you broke the law now you pay for it. It's simple, understandable and relevant seeing that you almost turned into a demon. We helped you by taking you with us for a few years."
He growls. "You took my name."
"And you know what that means?"
The Alpha King's eyes turned pitch black as he tried to calm himself, he shakes his head trying to push his wolf away, the anger away that he was feeling right now. "Y-You.. you took away my memories."
"It was for your own good Child." She sighs.
I looked behind her and saw the other companions with her, they were obviously casting a spell of subduction into the Alpha King so he won't get all fury and kill them all. But the funny part of it was.. you can't kill a white witch in heaven, but you can when they're in land.
"I know what you're doing white bitch. If you don't want me to kill all of you, get the fuck out of here."
She chuckles. "I'll let this pass for now, but if she attacks other species we will be back. With a cage collar of course, just like you in the past." She smirks. Turning around and walking back into the portal that they've casted a while ago.
When they were gone, the surrounding became silent and he looked at me angrily. "Do not tell all of this to christal. I'll end you."
I nodded, my hands still shaking from the recent events.
