"I would never have thought she could do that, i mean look at us. We're alive!" Daniel painfully celebrates.
After the tragedy of the 5th level took place, we were horrified that the Luna was behind all of it. The sources said that helios went on rampage and killed hundred ogres first before running around the forest like a maniac and killing anyone on sight.
Lucky his team survived tho.
"Shut up, she's not like that. Something's probably wrong about her again." I sighed, that woman has been making me worry nowadays.
Daniel gave me a look and forced my head to look at him, i gave him a disgusted look. "Look man! I know we're both strong and one of the two warriors in our pack. But every time i'm with her i feel like a baby pup, seriously."
"You're no baby pup, you're baby stupid pup." I replied nonchalantly.
He rolls his eyes. "It's true, our luna actually matches our Alpha King, and it scares the shit out of me. I mean what would happen if they had a lover's quarrel? It could be the end of the world for us."
I coughed. "Lately they've been on distance, i think the Alpha King is avoiding her."
"Maybe he's not into her anymore." Daniel laughs out.
"She's his mate, that not possible. You say that because you never had one." I winked at him.
"Fuck you dude, you also never had one too."
"True true. But what happened with Vanessa? Didn't you said you loved her even though she ain't your mate?"
"About that." He sighs, putting his finger on his head. "She found her mate."
"That sucks."
"Yea dude, when she met her mate, she immediately forgets about me. Fucking hurts i tell you."
I started patting him in the back. "Let it out stupid-baby-pup."
"I'm gonna kill you." He glares at me.
"Kidding, i'm kidding." I laughed it off.
We were in Delta, we were reported to help about the issue around here and probably to clean dead werewolves or ogres along the way. First task in 5th level is already a mess, our luna is a monster- a beautiful monster.
What the fuck is wrong with me.
"You alright?" Daniel asks.
"Yea, just spaced off i guess."
After going through a lot of process in securing security in Delta, we were surprised that helios even got beyond the border of 5th level, she almost reached 4th level. I'm gonna be totally honest, but i think this massacre of her's will actually help her advance a level.
Death in Delta is inevitable, once you die, you die in its soil. No one can complain or take you corpse back on your pack. That's the payment for staying and training in Delta for success. This generation is different now, seeing that new pack members from different lands had joined just recently. Werewolves now are stronger.
Well this incident of helios should be normal to us, it just startled us all that she could take down enemies in a split second. We only knew the truth, other packs thought helios was a psycho maniac who likes killing but we let it go seeing that it can make others fear his name.
Our Luna is a Badass, she don't need protection she's too strong damnit.
"You look so disappointed." Daniel laughs.
"Well i just think we're worthless bodyguards-"
He cuts me off. "FINALLY! Finally you have realized that. It's like a small parrot is guarding a large lion."
"You're the parrot, not me."
"Fuck you really dude, you need to die." He pouts. "Don't wanna be a parrot? Fine. You're a worm then."
"Wtf earthworm? That's worse than parrot, nah i'll take the parrot back."
We both laughed.
After we finished cleaning up with the rest, we were surprised when trainees from the first level came. A group walked towards us, a familiar red haired woman with them. Daniel bumps his shoulder into me. "Yo, that girl. Isn't she the one who attacked luna?"
Yes, the one who tried to steal the weapon from Christal.
My eyes widened. "You're right. So she was really from Stone Pack."
As i looked further, i was suprised when i saw a very familiar Delta trainee among them, The strongest in first level guy. He looked like he was just dragged into coming here. How the hell where they able to come in 5th level, i thought that roaming around is forbidden. Rules must've changed ..again.
I sighed and walked towards them, Daniel following me. They stopped when i blocked their path. "Trainees, mind telling me what's your business in 5th level?"
The red haired girl laughs. "We were just a little interested about the massacre. We wanna meet the guy."
"You wanna meet the guy." Her companion cuts in.
"Shut up Francis."
The guy rolls his eyes.
"The place is almost cleaned up, you won't see anything or him anymore here." I said. "So i suggest you come back to 1st level."
She groans in frustration. "How annoying, just because you're redbloodmoon doesn't mean you can order us around."
I sighed, she doesn't still get the basics? "In Delta. You're no one, you must've known. No pack or title will save you, now go back. Don't make me ask twice." I point out.
Daniel chuckles silently.
She glares at me. One of her friends apologized and dragged her back by carrying her on his shoulder, her red hair falling into places. I glanced on that guy, he didn't show any interest at all-
Wait. Why did he suddenly turn back? We were surprised when he walks towards us, passing by us without caring at all. Daniel and i looks at each other then follows him, he stops where the tragedy happened earlier, where Luna was taken by the Alpha King. He sat down by the leaves, Daniel tries to spoke but i stopped him.
His eye turned pitch black.
He picks up a couple of leaves and smelled it, then crumples it. He stands up silently and went back. Making both of us think that we were really ghost that nobody can see. Damn why are we treated like this.
"I feel like shit. I don't know how to handle that guy. They said that guy almost matches the Alpha King. But i'm just wandering why he hasn't finished Delta yet." Daniel wonders.
"Who knows, he must be running away from something or waiting."
