Chapter 157

I woke up on the nice side of the bed today. With a smile on my face and a good mood, I came out of my room.
The sun was out but the clouds were looming over the blue sky. The weather was surprisingly as nice as my mood today.
“Ms Della, do you want me to bring you anything?” Diana momentarily stopped hanging the clothes on the clothes line and looked at me when I came out of the door.
I smiled, shook my head, and said, “No, don't mind me. Go on.”
Sitting on the rocking chair placed on the porch, I let the sun rays hit my face and the warm breeze of the morning touched my skin.
If the schedule table that Nancy gave me was correct, then today would be Abigail's day off.
It's one reason why I was in a good mood. Hopefully, we'll be able to catch the thief who stole my clothes.
On the beam of the balcony railing was a preacher of orange juice and two glasses, one for me and one for Diana.
While sipping from my glass, my eyes wandered across the grass as my ears detected a rustling sound from nearby grasses.
From my peripheral vision, I could say that I'm quite sure that someone was hiding from the tall grass at the side of the lawn!!
With my narrowed eyes, I used my Lycan senses and saw the hidden shadows of the lurking person a few feet away from the house.
Still, I didn't show any signs that I was able to detect anyone's presence. Instead, I kept my cool and continued to drink my juice.
They still weren't aware that I'm not an ordinary werewolf. Hence, no one in this pack would have thought that I'd be able to detect their presence from miles away as only high ranking Lycans were gifted with such advanced skills.
Furthermore, I'm a Princess and the heir of the throne. I was trained from a young age to be vigilant and sharp. So effortlessly, I could feel her movement in the grass.
“That's probably her… that's probably the thief…” I said in my mind.
“Do you think it's Abigail? Was Nancy telling the truth?” Trisha asked in reply.
Since I could only hear the distinct movements and the partial shadows on the grass, I couldn't be sure yet who it was. Unfortunately, I couldn't smell the scent yet.
I played clueless until Diana finished hanging the clothes. She smiled in satisfaction while looking at the empty basin and dried her hands on her apron.
“Finally!” Diana rejoiced, carried the basin, and looked at me. “That's all of it.”
Yawning, I stood from the rocking chair. “That's good. It's also already getting dark. I'm tired and wanted to rest.”
“Let's go inside then. I'd cook you something delicious for dinner so you can eat after your rest,” Diana cheerfully said and held my arm, guiding inside.
Once we closed the door, I placed my index finger on my lips, motioning for Diana to not make a sound.
She nodded her head.
“Go ahead. Act normal,” I mouthed.
“Have a rest, Ms. Della. I'll be just in the kitchen if you need me,” Diana acted and went to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, I hid in the corner of the room, and looked outside through the gap between the window and the curtain. From my side, I could freely and discretely observe the grass and the clothesline.
Once the sun completely set and the blue sky turned dark, a shadow that lurked in the tall grass cautiously came out of hiding.
Like what's taken from the surveillance footage that Diana set up before, the thief was wearing a huge black cloak tightly wrapped around her plump figure.
The thief, like some amateur straight from cartoons, tiptoed toward the clothesline.
She stopped for a while, looking through the clothes. Once after looking, she started pulling clothes from the clothesline and stuffing them in her arms.
Indeed, the only clothes she was getting were all of which was given by Kylian.
After she grabbed all of Kylian's gift to me, the thief turned around and planned to run away.
“Not a chance,” I whispered and immediately opened the door.
I didn't go after her immediately. Instead, I discreetly followed until the thief arrived at an apartment that looked like it would crumble down once it's hit by a typhoon.
It's the apartment for the omegas so I couldn't be more surprised of how much in a bad state that place was.
Hiding at the corner, I watched as the thief looked around the place. Thinking no one followed her, she removed the cloak covering her and found that it was indeed Abigail.
My eyes widened, and out of surprise, I subconsciously stumbled backward as I hit a couple of stones which made some noise.
Frightened by the noise, Abigail gasped and dropped the bag of stolen clothes. She ran away without looking back, trying her best to hide her face. But it's already too late. I've already seen her face.
Not wanting to waste any time, I went out of my hiding spot and tried to catch up to her. With my eyes fixed on where she was I didn't see that someone was approaching me and I bumped into her.
“Stella,” I said as I regained my balance and probably saw her face.
Stella was as stunned as I was.
Looking around, she must have put the pieces together. “Are you here to chase the clothes thief?”
I nodded frantically and looked past her. Sighing with dismay, Abigail was already out of sight.
Nodding, I asked back, “You? What are you doing here?”
“My clothes were also stolen so I lurked around to observe and followed the thief here,” she explained.
We both looked at the apartment before we looked at each other. At this moment, we formed a tacit understanding to set aside all of our misunderstanding right now and catch the thief first
With her being a high ranking werewolf and me being a Lycan princess, our senses were much heightened than normal werewolves.
We followed the trace of scent she left behind which brought us to the eighth floor.
Slowly, we approached each door on the floor until we arrived in front of the door 806 where the rusty mint and charcoal scent was most strong.
We forced the door open and we immediately took a step back as the disgusting smell of incense leaked out from the room with smoke lingering inside.
My clothes, together with Stella's clothes, were scattered on the unfurnished floor. In the middle, some of those that went missing first were piled up.
My heart skipped a beat and my eyes widened. I didn't know how to react to what I was seeing. Abigail was nowhere to be found but the place was much more surprising.
Each clothes were ripped on either the sides or the armpits, and the fabric looked like it had been forcibly stretched. It looked like Abigail had squeezed her fat body into my and Stella's clothes, not even letting go of our underwear!
My eyes wandered around the entire room, completely dumbfounded. I'm so speechless as I couldn't find the right words to describe my feelings nor what I was seeing.
The walls were filled with photos of Kylian. Some were of those that could be found in the website or on the magazine, but there were also many pictures that were secretly taken.
Many of the huge photos plastered on the walls were even altered. His face was cut out and was glued to a nude male model. Fear and an alarming sense rushed in me as I saw photos where Kylian was with either me or Stella, looking intimately with each other, but our faces were cut out from the picture and Abigail's face was pasted on it instead.
“What a sick pervert!” Trisha cussed from the back of my mind.
To say I want to vomit would be an understatement.
Stella, on the other hand, had her jaw hang open in a mixture of disgust and amazement.
Looking at Abigail, Stella concluded, “Abigail had a huge crush on Kylian.”
“Damn, that's sick. Not only because she's an omega but she's 12 years older than Kylian! And… look at this… oh my gosh…”
“She's using our clothes, playing pretend that she's Luna and she's with Kylian…” I continued.
Shaking her head, Stella uttered with a sound of retching., “What a pervert!”
My face scrounged up. “Disgusting to be precise. Kylian needs to know this.”
“Damn right he does! This is just… Agh! I can't even say it!” Stella shook her head frantically out of disbelief.
Being on the same page, we nodded and turned around t0 meet Kylian. However, upon turning, we found three women looking at us.
Time suddenly seemed to stop as Stella and I faced another shock.
Abigail and Nancy blocked the door, and the woman standing between them was...
