Henry stood even taller and showed a determined expression as if what he was saying was so hard for him to voice out. “I hate to admit this, but it can’t be hide that you have a huge influence over Alpha Kylian.”
He pursed his lips and closed his eyes.
Upon opening his eyes, he let out a sigh, and continued, “Because of that… I’m willing to reluctantly recognize your position as our Luna. I’ll allow you not to divorce Alpha Kylian.”
My eyes widened in utter shock. If I wasn’t so dumbfounded by his words, I would be laughing out loud right now.
I mean what? Allow me? Who was he again?
I couldn’t believe that Henry could be more ridiculous than he already was.
Letting out a muffled laugh, I asked with exasperation, “Do you hear what you’re saying? Do you know what you’re talking about”
Anger boiled withing me.
In Henry’s eyes, was just I a toy and not a being with emotions and mind? How dare he think that its in their decision whether I could stay or leave?
What right did he had to even think he could manipulate my decision?
Accept me as their Luna?
Was this how he should be respecting a Luna? By treating me like some object they could toss around?
Henry drastically nodded, and solemnly replied, “I know. I know exactly what I’m talking about. Yes, you are just an omega with an immoral life, making you not worthy of Alpha Kylian. But as long as you’re willing to turn a new leaf and just focus on Alpha from now on, I will… accept you as Luna.”
All while he was speaking, I stared at him, feeling stunned.
He was looking so self-righteous as if I had to thank him of his change of opinion. The furrows of his eyebrows looked and how solemn he looked at me even showed how he pity me.
Like, I should be grateful at him? Fuck him!
Fury raidiated all over me and my breathing became sswallow as I tremble with suppress anger.
Initially, I was worried about Kylian’s health and emotion. But it was immediately masked by the anger I was feeling for Henry’s self-righteousness and stupid face.
He must have thought that my silence means agreement because he didn’t seem finish yet.
Lowering his eyes on my belly, he continued, “You can give brith to that child alter on but that can’t be the alpha heir. I won’t allow an illegiteimate child take what should be rightfully for Alpha Kylian’s child. Rest assured that after you give birth, I’ll take that child and find him an adoptive family.”
By his words, it looked like he already planned my entire life and so was my child’s.
With narrow eyes, Henry said, “Don’t let that bastard of a child stain Alpha Kylian’s reputation.”
Shaking with anger, I totally lost it.
I stood up and slapped him so hard that his face turned on the other side.
He looked back at me with burning eyes. “You ungrateful woman! You should be thankful for this opportunity I’m giving you when you don’t deserve it in the slightest bit!”
Pointing at the floor, he continued, “You should be kneeling down right now and thanking me instead of showing your vulgar manners!”
I let out a devilish smirk and menacingly glare at him. With a ice-cold but calm tone, I asked, “Do you think you’re that noble?”
Hearing and seeing him made me sneer. “I can live without my husband, but not without my child.” I pointed dat the door. “Go back and tell Kylian that we will never get back with each other ever again!”
“Are you crazy? Who would love like a woman like you to this extent except of Alpha Kylian?”
‘Kylian’s love was too heavy of a burden that I couldn’t care anymore,’ I replied in my thoughts.
I was about to open my mouth to speak when the door was suddenly swang open.
“You, asshole!” Diana suddenly barge inside with a broom in her hand and started hitting Henry with it.
“How dare you insult, Ms. Della? I’ll make you pay for it!” She continued hitting him hard this time while pushing him toward the door.
“Leave, you fucking asshole! Who do you think you are? You don’t even deserve to even look at her!”
“What? You! Stop! How dare you! Get–” Henry’s words became muffle as he kept waving his hands around to block Diana’s hit, but Diana just kept droving him away sternly.
“Are you not going to make this stupid slave of yours stop?” Henry asked me with overflowign irritation.
I merely raised an eyebrow at him and crossed my arms over my chest. “You deserve worse.”
Finally, Diana successfully pushed Henry out of the house. Her last push was quite hard that he almost stumbled back out from the door frame.
Point a finger at me, he shouted, “Della, you will surely regret this!”
Hearing that, Diana fumed even further, and threw the broom at him as he walked away in despair.
Once he was completely out of our sight, Diana let out a sight and closed the door, leaning back on it.
With a frown, she looked down. “I’m so sorry, Ms. Della. I accidentally heard his insolent words and got so angry.”
“I know I’m supposed to stay there and not meddle with you guys, but he went too far! If theprince learn that someone insulted you like that, he’ll have that arrogant Beta locked up!” Diana vented out.
Walking closer to me, he continued, “I mean, how can he sa that? You deserve all the love in the world!”
I waved my hand and shook my head. “Forget it Kylian and I are getting divorced anyway, Let’s not bother ourselves with them.”
I said those with conviction, but deep down, I still couldn’t help but wonder, “How is Kylian now?”
