Chapter 133

Della’s POV

My lips parted in a momentary shock when Kylian asked me.

“Is that your worst of an Alpha I am for you?”

I stared at him. My chest heaved with rage and my finger was still pointed at him and Luke.

Is he the worst Alpha I've ever seen? My answer should be yes.

Looking into his eyes, all the past between us appeared in my mind.

"If you take the blame for Flora, I'll give you a million." he once said.

"If you didn't want the money or the title, why did you stay after I found Flora?!" It’s also what he said.

However, after he knew all the truth, all he did was say sorry for his past deeds, but he still kept doing it over and over again.

At first, it was Flora, then Stella.

As an alpha, he was obliged to protect the pack and me as his Luna. He was in duty to act as everyone’s leader and keep peace to his entire territory… to be above everyone else and sustain authority… But what did he do?

Instead of protecting me, he let the pack members look at me with judgement. He took away every power that should of been mine… my every right.

Instead of contributing his power to the well-being of his members, he gave in before his father again and again!

He knew that the Crimson Pack wouldn’t bring any good to the pack so he asked me to attend for a vote. I used every resources I had and summed up all my courage to speak against Luke, and yet… he was as spineless as before.

And just now, when facing his rude and unreasonable father, he was still trying to persuade me to calm down!

To hell with the calmness!

I could feel curse forming in my throat as I once again heard Kylian repeat his question.

“Tell me… in your eyes, am I that terrible of an alpha?” Taking a step closer, his voice became more stern. “Answer me.”

His deep brown eyes was glinting with overflowing emotions that was tainted with pain, which made me want to embrace him and tell him that everything would be fine.

I thought over the past four years, this had become a habit of mine. But now my teeth were clenched with fury. The only thing lingering in my mind was to curse him, piss him off, tell him the truth, wake him up, and release my disappointment and anger!

“Yes.” I said while staring straight into his eyes. He flinched as if he was hurt by my answer. My heart ached slightly but I ignored it and finished my words-

"You're the worst Alpha I've ever seen."

As I closed my eyes, the tears which I've been holding in, finally streamed down onto my cheeks.

I let out a bitter laugh, and said, “Kylian. You are a man who still lives in the shadow of his childhood, trapped in it!”

With fierceness and glaring eyes, I condemned them, “There is no other alpha in this world that will live and let his own life and his own pack be at the mercy of another person!”

At this point, I was already shaking with fury and devastation.

My tears kept streaming down my face as my chest rose and fell evidently.

Pointing a finger at Luke, I asked Kylian with pursed lips, “Do you dare to say that your life isn't being controlled by Luke?”

Letting my arm fall on my side, I shook my head at him and smiled sadly. “No matter who you marry, and what kind of she-wolf your wife will be, you will always need to seek Luke's approval.”

“And if you don't conform to his will, you'll be whipped until you surrender.” Taking a step forward, I pushed his shoulder with my index finger. “And you won't even resist!”

Kylian stood there, staying silent. His hand formed a fost at his side and his adam apple would move, showing that he would swallow every once in a while.

He was looking down on the ground but his eyes made him seem like he was in an oblivion, and breathing heavily.

“How-how dare you!” Luke interrupted, taking everyone's attention to him as he shouted so loud that it echoed in the entire room.

To say that he was fuming mad would be an understatement.

His eyes were red and wide open, and his hand that's pointing a finger at me were shaking. Even the veins in his neck was protruding with strong pulse.

“You dare to put fingers here? What have you done for the pack? Nothing! Can it be compared to all my contribution?”

His eyes shifted toward Kylian. “You're so-called Luna who's nothing but a mere omega dares to disrespect her husband and alpha and your just gonna stand there?”

He let out a dark and menacing laugh as he move forward to Kylian. With only inches apart, he pointed at me while his eyes still at Kylian, staring him down.

“And still, you want to get back with her? Is that the kind of woman you want your Luna to be?” He shook his head. “I'm so disappointed in you.”

When Kylian didn't reply, Luke turned around and pointed at me. “Sign that divorce agreement this instant and get the fuck out of this pack! I'll see how high your arrogance can bring you when your back being a lowly omega!”

I raised an eyebrow at that. “Do you think you can threaten me by the position? From then and now, I never cared about being the Dark Moon Pack’s Luna. All I wanted was a happy life with my husband.”

I glanced at Kylian, waiting for him to say something to retort… But that was just another thing that made me even more disappointed at him. Because just like then, he kept silent while his father abuse his made up authority.

I sneered and decided to stand up for myself. I raised my head, ready to agree with Luke's demands. “Fine. I'll do–”

“Shut it!” Kylian suddenly shouted, interrupting me.

I raised my head suspiciously, only find him finally looked up. His eyes were piercing and his lips were pursed together.

At first, I thought he was shouting at me. But he turned to Luke.

What surprised me even more was his next words. “Luke. My relationship with Della is none of your business! You don't have any right to interfere on it. Leave now!”

Luke was just as dumbfounded as I was.

He was left confuse. How could he not? Kylian never spoke to him like that before.

He widened his eyes, “What? Are you hearing yourself? How dare–”

Before he could finish his words, Kylian shouted again an pointed at the open door. “I said leave!”

“You're really asking me to leave? This is all Della's fault! How dare you demand me to leave? It's very obvious who should leave and that's not me!”

He stood his ground, trying to put Kylian back in his control.

“I said…” Kylian started to speak. His eyes were down and his fist was shaking… and so did his entire body.

When he looked up, it all made sense then. Because then, we saw his iris shifting from brown into wolf.

He's fighting control with his wolf. “I command you to leave!”

My breath hitched as I looked at Luke who's staring wide open at Kylian as he subconsciously took a step back.

Mixed with Kylian's voice was his wolf. Obviously, he's on edge now. Ready to shift and attack at any time.

“Fuck this…” Luke cursed under his breath and left without a choice. Of course, not before he threw me a menacing glare as he passed through the door.

Finally alone, Kylian stood in front of me and looked at me in the eye.

My heartbeat raced upon seeing how red his eyes was. He looked...so dangerous.

Step by step, he walked heavily closer to me. Authority and dominance were radiating all over him as his demeanor intensified.

I swallowed, feeling slightly oppressed by his demeanor.

“W-what do you want?” I stammered.
