Chapter 132

I stood frozen on my foot while looking at the scene unfolding before me.
It’s been years since I’ve been with Della, it was the first time I had ever seen her acting like that. It’s a known fact to everyone that she was born with an omega status but right now… she looked nothing but like that.
With her upright back and head held high, and the voice she used… I couldn’t help but sense the nobility of a queen from her.
“Fuck, that’s hot!” My wolf roared. Seeing her dominance actually made her look a thousand times hotter than she had always been.
Her eyes were sharp, and with her posture right now, it became more visible how voluptuous her breast was and her perky butt was well-formed on her clothes. Damn, I want to touch her!
Probably noticing how Diana was looking in my direction, Della followed their gaze and saw me.
Instant relief showed on her face as she sighed and her features became more relaxed. “Kylian, finally, you’re here.”
The thankfulness in her voice inexplicitly brought me joy.
Suppressing my raised corner of my mouth, I replied, “I’m so glad that I’m needed by you.”
Then, I walked forward, intentionally standing beside her.
Hearing my words though, Della subconsciously took a step back and her eyebrows furrowed while her lips dropped into a frown. She rather looked awkward.
Nonetheless, she nodded towards my father and Stella’s direction. “Stop them. Fast!”
The anxiousness in her voice was overflowing.
“Don’t worry, I’m here. As long as I’m by your side, nothing will happen to you,” I comfortably said as I placed my arm over her shoulder and pulled her closer to my body.
Leaning a bit closer down to her head, I smirked and winked at her. With a swift kiss at the corner of her lips, I turned around fast enough before she could resist or slap me.
With a swift motion, I jumped toward the center of the room and shifted into my own gigantic wolf, landing on my four paws. I rushed to stop my father and Stella from killing each other by standing at their side and roaring with my alpha voice.
However, being a former alpha and the princess of Lock Heart Pack, it’s no surprise why they weren’t affected much by it.
A loud growl from me wasn’t enough to stop them. Hence, I was left with no choice but to jump and kick my father’s wolf with my front paw, pushing him out of Stella and making him roll to the side.
Stella, fuming with unknown anger, stood fast on her four legs and was rushing to attack my father but I stood in front of her and tackled her down. I wasn’t being rough, just enough force to keep her sustain.
Loud roar filled the room. Looking at where my father had rolled onto, he was already standing and rushing to attack back but I mindlinked him, “Dark Moon Pack and Lock Heart Pack are allies. You can’t just go attacking their alpha’s only daughter. It will ruin the agreement between packs and cause a war!”
My father’s wolf immediately came to a halt and looked between me and Stella with fury.
Growling, he replied, “Stella attacked first!”
Looking down, I mindlinked Stella, “Why did you do that?”
Her wolf stared at me. After feeling that she calmed down, I walked back and freed her. She walked to the side and nipped on one of Della’s clothes. While she shifted back to her human form, so did me and my father.
Coming out of the room, fully dressed, Stella barged and shouted while pointing angrily at my father and Della, “It’s all their fault! Bitch Della, I will make you pay for it.”
With one last glare toward the two, she stormed out.
“Della…” I subconsciously uttered upon hearing her name from Stella’s mouth. Was she hurt?
Panic arose in me. Just the mere thought of her being hurt anywhere was enough to bring pain in my heart and overwhelm me with unimaginable worry.
Without a care about anything else, I turned around and rushed to Della’s side. Without hesitation, I grabbed both her hands to mine.
“What are you doing?” she asked in irritation and fisted her hands, but my hold only got tighter.
“Are you okay?” I asked and looked at every angle of her, seeing if she wasn’t hurt anywhere.
“Kylian!” she shouted, struggling to break free from my hold.
Looking down at her with a deep gaze, I asked again, “Are you sure you’re not hurt anywhere? You can tell me.”
Pulling her hands closer, I grabbed her hand close to my chest, making her feel my fast and strong heartbeat that only happened to her.
With my left hand holding both her fist and my right arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her much closer to me, I leaned my head down to hers and whispered with conviction, “As long as I’m here, I’ll bear and do anything for you.”
“You don’t need to fear anything.”
Della narrowed her eyes at me while shaking her head. “You’ve totally lost your mind, aren’t you?”
“Let me go,” she demanded with pursed lips.
I opened my mouth to reply, but it was interrupted by the loud sound of a chair crashing from a forceful fall.
Looking back, I saw my father fuming mad.
“Stella and that stupid bitch are molded from the same rubbish! Their both sluts thirsty for every man they set their eyes on! None of them deserves to be the Luna of Dark Moon Pack!”
His voice radiated to the entire house.
Unexpectedly, Della used my distraction to her advantage. She unfisted her hands and used her palm to push me away from her.
Without fear, she strode forward to my father. Without any restraint, she scoffed and asked, “What kind of Luna do you even have in your mind in the very first place? Is what you want a puppet bearing no emotions that will blindly obey your orders? Is that the perfect and ideal Luna for you?”
Once again, I was astonished by her sudden courage to stand up for herself and face my father without a hint of fear.
However, with only a few distances between her and my father, I couldn’t help but get worried.
Character wasn’t enough to win anything. Della was born from a humble status of omega, and no matter how courageous she could be, she could never be able to beat my father.
I didn’t want both of them to fall into a great conflict. This was very disadvantageous for Della. If Dad attacked her, or even just expand his Alpha aura, Della would definitely be injured as an omega. For her own sake, I had to calm her down.
However, just as I was about to step between them, Della turned around and faced me with disappointment and visible questioning in her eyes.
That, without hiding, frightened me so much. Such a look was something I didn’t want to see from her while looking at me.
I could feel my hand tremble a bit from fear of losing her, but I withhold it all in, not wanting to show any sign of weakness at that moment.
Taking a step closer t oher, I held her hand, pulled her back, and made her face me. With my eyes looking deep into hers, I gently uttered, “Della, please… Calm down. You–”
“Calm down?” she scoffed with overflowing sarcasm as she threw my hand away. “Is that all you want to say to me?”
Her eyes were full of negative judgement toward me as she questioned both my words and action. What’s more frightening about that was teh fact that she didn’t even need to say a word to make my heart quiver with fear.
That look of calmness in her, like I was in the eye of the hurricane, was enough to shook every inch of me with fright.
With head tilted on the side a bit and that smirk filled of disaapintment plasted on her face, she asked, “How much longer, Kylian?”
My eyebrows furrowed. “Wh–”
“How much longer will you tolerate your father?” She pointed at him, and continued, “You’re no longer a puppy who needs a protection from a manipulative monster like him! Much less a guidance!”
She looked at each one of us before looking back at me with calm fiercenss. “There is no alpha in this kingdom but you, who still lives in the shadow of their father.”
I was frozen. It’s as though a bucket of cold water was dropped into my very being. Those straightforward words were something I never expect from Della… or anyone else for that fact.
Pain raidated all over me as I finally see how worse I was in her eyes.
Swallowing the knot that formed in my throat, I asked painfully, “Is that you worst of an Alpha I am for you?”
