Della’s POV

“She’s a cool girl back then. She’s wearing a rosy-style clothes and likes to play with machinery. She even met her fated mate in there. It’s one of the omegas. You know him!”

She said with excitement. Trying to make me guess.

An omega? Who could it be?

Nodding, I said, “Fill me in.”

With full of excitement, she continued, “It’s Ralph! He’s one of the omegas in the kingdom. He’s really good at machinery! It’s no wonder they’re fated together!”

My eyes widened! Her fated mate was Ralph?

Though Ralph was an omega, he’s very well known in the kingdom for his unmatched capabilities when in came to machinery. He’s like a prodigy in such area.

I could still remember him walking around the kingdom sometimes with work in hand. He’s kind of introverted. He’s mostly described by others as dull and shy.

At the young age of 24, he was already known at his extraordinary talent.

Looking at Diana, I exclaimed, “I remember him because great at doing ships! My brother Jackson always sought him out so everyone respect him like any other ranked members.”

Diana nodded in agreement. “Yes! That’s him. He was even allowed to attend the ball dance at the kingdom because of how much contribution he had put on to the palace. Many invited alphas of other packers hated Ralph for his status so no one danced with him.”

With bitterness, I commented, “What a world we live in. Is really respect should be given only to those with higher rank?”

Diana smiled, and went on, “That’s when Ms. Stella made impression on me even more. She recognized him as her fated mate right then!”

With a small laugh, she continued, “I still remember that scene, I was there with champagne for everyone to use, and I was standing right next to Ralph. The place was crowded and the music was on! There are many of them dancing at the middle and Ms. Stella and Ralph are at the either end of the hall.”

“When Ms. Stella realized that Ralph is her mate, she literally stood with joy from her seat, pointed at Ralph, and shouted with excitement that he’s her fated mate!”

A princess announced to everyone that she had found a genius omega as her fated mate! This was such a controversial story, and it just happened.

Oh moon goddess, mystery of fate!

Diana nodded and continued, “Then everyone's eyes stayed on Ralph, waiting for Ralph's reply, just like in the script. But Ralph didn't say a word. He lowered his head, put on his hat, and fled the misunderstanding in a panic. But, would you believe it? Ms.Stella came running after him in full view!”

My mouth hung open in shock.

I could imagine what happens next. Stella was the only daughter of the Lock Heart Pack while Ralph was an omega. They were miles apart in terms of rank and power.

Looking back at what happened between me and Kylian before, it’s just like Stella and Ralph.

I could feel what Ralph would possibly be feeling at that time.

He probably think that he wasn’t worthy of her, and that Stella would reject him.

Even though Stella had never made a good impression on me, I was still drawn to the stories Diana told.

I eagerly want to know the subsequent development and what will happen to the self-based Ralph and Stella, daughter of Alpha.

“What happened then? Did… Did they got together?” I asked urgently.

By this time, Diana and I sat on the bed as we continued talking about it.

“You wouldn’t believe it! Ms. Stella worked so hard and pursued Ralph relentlessly. Wherever Ralph is, so would she. She even moved next to his house!” she exclaimed. “Because of all of that, she were very famous around all the omegas and they helped her on persuading Ralph. I heard that during that time, Ralph was troubled by the "coincidental" appearances of Stella wherever he went. Once Stella appears, she will always be around Ralph except when going to the bathroom.”

With dreamy looks in Diana’s eyes, she gave the good news, “Finally, Ralph has no choice but to give in. He accepted Stella as his fated mate. And then Ralph was surprised to find that Stella was not a pampered princess. She loves sailing, and Ralph loves machinery and ships. Even Stella's father thinks they are a perfect match!

My eyebrows furrowed. Indeed, it was quite strange.

“Then… She has no reason to snatch Kylian, right? Then, why would she?”

What could be her real reason for doing everything she was doing now?

I suddenly felt so lost while I try to find her real motive.

But what worry me most was whether her real motive was of good or bad intentions.

“I don’t think she was really after Alpha Kylian to begin with.” Diana’s eyes widened, “Was she after the pack?”

My heart skipped a bit with worry. From this point of view, Stella might have hidden purposes in pursuing Kylian.

Probably seeing the worry in my face, Diana went on, “But you don’t have to mind that anymore, Ms. Della. After all, you won’t be here for long.”

That’s right. It was no longer my business. I’ll be leaving soon, and I made up my mind to do so.

However, what should I do? I couldn’t help but worry at the thought that Stella may bring harm to Kylian.

After thinking of many possibilities, I stood up with determination.

“Ms. Della?”

Looking at her, I said, “I need to talk with Kylian.”

I no longer care whether he’ll marry Stella or not, or even if he’ll make her his Luna. However, I found it significant to warn him that Stella might be in here with other motives.

I was about to walk off when my wolf, Trisha, stopped me. “No, don’t.”

“Why?” I asked back.

“You can’t interfere with his affairs anymore. We’ll leave him… It’s better not to give him hope anymore,” she reasoned out.

I sighed. “I’ll just give him a little reminder. I won’t make her misunderstand my action. Don’t worry.”
