Chapter 109

Della’s POV

Turning around, I saw Stella’s face.

Instantly, my frozen heart that’s about to thaw at Kylian’s injury, froze even more.

I sent a menacing glare at Kylian’s direction, and replied with a sneer, “Even if Luke kills me, it has nothing to do with you! Just leave me alone already and spend your time with your future Luna, Stella, instead.”

With a scoffed, I started to walked off and leave them two to be alone.

Stella kept quiet as I heard Kylian’s hurried footsteps as he followed me. I kept walking and so did he while speaking to explain, “Hey, please… Della… Listen to me...Della! I order you stop as your Alpha!”

I suddenly stopped my steps, rolling my eyes.

He manged to come in front of me, and walked backward to keep pace with me as I started to walk again. “I only have you in my heart and no one else. You’ll be the only Luna that this pack and I will ever have.”

Holding me hand to stop me, he continued, “Please… I only have you.”

I laughed with bitterness and shook off his hand harshly.

Looking deeply in his eyes, I said, “I don’t believe in you anymore, Kylian. Leave me alone.”

I continued walking off, but he pulled me back again.

Frustrated, I pushed his hand off again and looked him dead in the eyes. “Kylian, I’ve heard that before. I have believed in you! What did you do then? You hurt me over and over again for Flora! You are even willing to send me to jail because of her, remember?!”

“I…” he started, probably making excuses.

But I kept on, “I don’t want to be your Luna anymore, Kylian… Nor do I want to continue being your chosen mate.”

I was about to turn around but Kylian kept holding my hand, preventing me from going despite how many times I’ve tried pushing him away.

“Please… No… Please don’t go. Don’t give up on me, Della. I’ll do better this time. I… I already rejected Flora, officially this time. Please… I can’t live without you, Della.”

He held my hand tightly while his eyes were filled with sadness.

I know he's right. He has changed a lot. If it were before, he would have violently thrown me into jail to prevent me from leaving.

But now, he's begging me...

I looked around and saw that some of the pack members were already looking at our direction, seeing how their Alpha was begging me. Even Stella was watching at the side.

They were already gossiping about it.

I looked down at Kylian with pity. Of course, in their eyes, he’s an alpha and I’m just a mere omega. He’s being humiliated right now, and yet I don’t think he knew it.

It’s rare for an alpha who was expected to be proud and powerful to be begging someone of lower rank than him.

Nonetheless, all of that didn’t matter.

As pitiful as he seemed now, I had long convinced myself to end what we had with each other.

Sneering, I said coldly, “What you feel has nothing to do with me anymore.”

Nodding toward Stella, I continued, “Tell her not to meddle in my life either because I won’t let anyone bully me anymore.”

Kylian furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Stella.

Stella frantically shook her head and explained, “No! It’s not like that! I made an agreement with Luke so Della can move back to the guest house at any time she wants.”

My hands formed into a fist as I tried to calm myself down from all the passive provocations Stella was throwing at my way.

If what she’s doing wasn’t a form of mercy of a mistress showing to a wife being thrown to the side, what else could it be?

Plain kindness? Huh!

“Stop meddling in my business, Stella. You have no right!” Upon saying that, I turned and left, not minding Kylian’s calls anymore.

When he tried to continue even further, I snarled at him. “Stop it! Just stop making things more annoying for me!”

Giving Diana a look, we kept walking back to the shacks.

We were already near back at the shacks when Diana asked, “Will that Stella be the next Luna?”

I replied in a snark, “That woman suddenly came in here before I signed my divorce with Kylian! She even warned me many times to hastened the process as Kylian is hers!”

“Can you beleive that? Kylian got the guts to confess to me while having an affair!”

I couldn’t help it anymore and vent out.

“What?” I asked once I saw the confusion in Diana’s face. It’s as though gears in her head was working.

She tilted her head a bit and told me, “I think she’s acting a bit strange.”

Strange?

I was breathing violently as flashes of memories of how Kylian had hurt me rushed through my mind, and added to it were of those with Stella.

“Ms. Della, have a glass first.” Diana uttered as she poured a glass of milk for me and handed it over.

Accepting it, I paced around the room to calm down while taking a sip of the milk.

“I met her before.”

I stopped and turned toward Diana. With furrowed eyebrows, I asked, “Who?”

Diana leaned on the table. “I met her before at the kingdom. But… How do I put it?”

She was looking around and furrowing, trying to comprehend and analyze what she was thinking about. I walked right in front of her, waiting for her to continue.

I, too, was at wonder how she found Stella strange.

Diana suddenly clapped her hand. “Yes! I remember now! I saw her in there, but she looked very different from how she is now.”

“What do you mean by that?” I asked, finishing the milk and placing it at the sink.
