Alpha Theo kept silent, and it made time feel so long.
I kept staring at him, waiting for him to fulfill his promises that sounded so genuine every time we were in bed.
Holding the back of his shirt, I pulled on it a little bit to get his attention and pull him back from his daze.
Succeeding, he turned his head to look back at me, but not in the way I had expected.
Instead of an assuring smile and tender gaze, he gave me a menacing glare.
My heart sank. No...
Scuffing, he replied, “No, this whore is just making things up.”
After saying that, he grabbed my wrist and harshly pushed me away so that I fell back down onto the bed. The zipper pull on the quilt scratched my naked back and I frowned, trying to elicit sympathy from him.
But he turned and looked at Luna Lauren like a fucking puppy who was wagging his tail at his owner for some stupid treat.
With a cautious step and a coaxing smile, he went closer to Luna Lauren and held her hand, which she instantly pulled away. Nonetheless, he didn’t get mad.
“Please, don’t be mad, honey.. I’m really sorry. But it wasn’t my fault,” he turned to me with a burning glare and continued, “that whore tricked me and seduced me.”
I let out a scuff out of disbelief. With teary eyes and a shaking voice, I retort, “Why did I… W-we loved each other… Y-you said…”
“Lair! How dare you take advantage of me as a man! How do you, a lowly slut, deserve the love of an Alpha like me?” He waved his hand at me.
“I didn’t…”
He drastically looked at Luna Lauren. “Look, Lauren, you’re my only Luna and no one else. I was just scammed for a moment. I’m sorry.”
Luna Lauren raised an eyebrow at him. “You expect me to believe that lousy lie?”
Alpha Theo’s eyes shifted between Luna Lauren and me as if he were thinking of what he should do. Then, hastily, he rushed toward me and grabbed me by the arm. With great force, he pushed me to the floor, and I dropped on my knees and elbows.
If I hadn’t been able to balance in time, my face would have slammed on the floor.
I looked back to glare at him, but he wasn’t even giving me a glance. Looking at Luna Lauren, he said, “Do what you want with her. I don’t care. I’m really sorry, Lauren. I’ll leave this matter to you, okay?”
Upon saying that, he left like a coward. For a known scary alpha, I couldn’t believe he feared his Luna.
I couldn’t help but stare at the door that just closed in disbelief. How could he do that?
How could he just leave me in such a huge situation like this, where my safety could be jeopardized?
If it were Kylian… If it was him… He wouldn’t have done that. Despite anything, he’ll try to protect me.
He’s a coward!
I heard a fidget laugh, so I turned to look at the woman in front of me.
I’ll be honest, she’s a bit pretty, but she was nothing compared to me. Yes, she’s pretty with that long wavy hair, long legs, and small waist, but her features were a bit flat whereas I was more voluptuous.
Besides, she didn’t have much femininity in her. Her expression was dominant, and how she carried herself made her look like a badass.
It was obvious why Alpha Theo was looking for another woman to warm his bed.
I’m so much better than her to be a Luna. I couldn’t understand why Alpha Theo would choose otherwise. He was really a fool.
Suddenly, Luna Lauren smirked at me.
“Do you really think he’ll choose you?” she smugly asked. “Dream on, whore!”
With that, she snapped her finger, and a warrior immediately stepped in.
“What are you–” Before I could finish my words, he grabbed me by my nape and pushed me further to the floor. I was forced to lie on my stomach.
Just as I was about to stand, he stepped on my back, preventing me from moving. I was left with no choice but to look up at Luna Lauren by only moving my head and eyes. And naked at that!
I never felt so small and humiliated before. I started to feel panicked. Did my plan just fail?
So what will happen to me now? What will she do to me?
Luna Lauren slowly walked near me as if she were some kind of predator while I was her prey.
Devilishly, she smirked at me. “You are a stupid whore, do you know that?”
“I thought, from your experience, you would know how powerful a matebond is… It’s irresistible. There are only a few who can chase their chosen mate against their fated mate. And those are only those who are so in love with another she-wolf.”
She walked around me and continued, “I admire Alpha Kylian for that. His will and wolf power are both so strong that they were able to choose what many failed to do.”
I narrowed my eyes on her. “Are you siding on them? They cheated on me and hurt me. I never thought I’d fall in love again, but then Alpha Theo… reminded me how to love and be happy again. We loved each other… Maybe he was just afraid to admit it,” I said, staying on my version of the story.
Luna Laura laughed so hard. “Even if what you said was true, do you really think that he’ll leave me for you? That he’ll actually love you? You’re a real delusion, aren’t you?”
She bent down and grabbed my chin with her thumb and index finger. With a sharp gaze, she said, “He became as powerful as he is now because I empowered him as an Alpha by being with him as his fated mate. He and his pack were feared because my father was the alpha of the Black Fur pack, which instantly became his ally due to our bond.”
She leaned closer. “If he was to reject me, he’d lose everything, including his three heirs.”
After harshly letting me go, she wiped her hand clean and stood up. “As an alpha, he won’t do that. Remember, Flora. Merely using your body and acting fragile won’t get you anywhere. Only someone strong can sustain happiness and a loyal mate.”
I laughed bitterly at that while struggling to move, but the warrior only stepped harder on me. “Someone strong? Do you mean that low-life omega who took my fated mate? The two of them conspire against me! You, as Luna, how can you admire them?”
Her face instantly turned icy cold. She looked at me as if she’d kill me. I couldn’t lie, I froze at that expression.
Pointing a finger at me, she accused me, “You stupid lying whore! I already know it! You came here disguised as the victim. Because I pity you, I let you in and gave you a place to stay. I even let you help my mate with paperwork! Anyone would kill to be where you are right now!”
“But what have you done? You repay my kindness with betrayal! You seduced my husband and the father of my children!” After shouting, she snapped her fingers, and the door opened.
One after another, men of poor upbringing came in. Instantly, goosebumps touched my skin as fear rose upon me.
They were wearing shirts and baggy pants. It was quite casual and ordinary, so I shouldn’t be alarmed. But that wasn’t all… Their eyes and face said otherwise.
Their eyes had dangerous glints, and they were licking their lips while staring at me from head to toe.
Finally, the door closed after a dozen men of the same appearance came in. My body was shaking as a bad premonition surged over me.
Luna Lauren nodded at the warrior who was stepping on me and immediately let me.
Hastily, I sat up and covered myself with the blanket.
Luna Lauren smirked devilishly and glanced at those newly arrived men. “Flora here is a whore who loves warming men’s beds so much. I’m sure she’ll be delighted to know you.”
Those men instantly smirked and licked their lips. Some even had an instant bulge on their pants.
My inside shook in fear.
“Isn’t this what you want? Whoring around? Then, as a good host, I’ll satisfy your itch!” Luna Lauren said.
I frantically shook my head as I crawled back as far as I could from all of them. “You can’t do this! I am still Kylian’s fated mate! No matter how bad I am with him, you cannot hurt me by interpack law, nor will Kylian let you go for this!”
Luna Lauren smiled with disdain. “I pity you…. The Dark Moon Pack just issued an official announcement of your banishment from his pack. You wanna know something more interesting? He also allowed me to punish you as I pleased. So, stop dreaming already because he won’t save you!”
My body shook even harder as genuine tears threatened to stream down my face this time.
“You can’t do this…”
“Oh, believe me, I can, and I will.” She nodded toward the corner of the room. “And everything that happened in this room is recorded. Don’t even try to reverse the truth in the future, or I’ll publish that video publicly. The entire world then will know how your innocent face is far from your true colors!”
“I’ll show the world how you seduced my fated mate, someone’s husband, into your bed!”
“Wait!” I tried to call her, but she didn’t look back.
She just turned her back on me and went out of the door with her maids and warriors, closing the door after them and locking me inside with these dozen perverts.
They excitedly surrounded me.
“Don’t you dare come n-near me!” I tried to warn them, but my shaking voice betrayed me. I started to cry.
I backed away from them until my back hit the wall, and I had nowhere else to run into. “My mate is Alpha Kylian of Dark Moon Pack! If you dare treat me like this, he’ll know, and he’ll kill all of you!”
They looked at each other and laughed.
“Go on, resist more. It’s more exciting that way.” One of them, who had a scar on his face, said, increasing my fear dramatically.
They came near me and started touching me while I struggled to be free, but it was all in vain. There were too many of them!
And suddenly, I felt an excruciating pain as they started touching my intimate parts. It’s like I was being killed from the inside out.
I screamed and cried immediately. I knew what was happening.
Kylian had just officially rejected and broke his bond with me.
“Accept it…” I heard my wolf say at the back of my mind.
I shook my head in tears as those perverted men kept violating me, doubling the pain I was feeling.
“Accept his rejection so we won’t be in so much pain,” my wolf insisted, roaring in pain.
“No!” I shouted, both to my wolf and to those men around me.
I sat still like a rag doll void of emotion as I welcomed all the pain surging all over my body. I felt dead.
I’ll never accept his rejection. I’ll always be Kylian’s fated mate!
No matter how long or how hard it gets, I’ll come back to him. I vowed to the moon goddess that it would happen, and I’ll take my revenge on Della!
I’ll make her feel the pain I was in right now. And I’ll give it all back tenfold!
