I bit my lower lip, played with my fingers, and had my eyes glistened with tears. But I didn’t let any tears fall, so it would seem as though I was preventing it from stopping.

Finally, looking up at him, I let a few tears fall on my cheek, giving more effect of how miserably I was feeling.

My eyes glistened with hope. I can finally leave this shitty place. I have to become a Luna, no matter who the alpha is.
“Please endure a little more. You’ll have a better future. I’ll make sure of it.” After saying that, he leaned forward and kissed me sweetly at the corner of my lips.
Showing my happiness, I giddy jumped and wrapped my arms around his nape before giving him a deep and swift kiss. “I love you the most!”
He stared at me for a while with that stern look, and asked, “Really? Who do you love more? Me or Kylian? Kylian’s your fated mate, right?”
I tiptoed and spoke with my breath fanning his lips. “Of course, I love you more. A lot more…”
I let my left hand stay on his nape while my other hand touched his cheek. “Although I am Kylian’s fated mate, he already has his own Luna, and I accept that. I will never do anything to destroy other people’s marriages. But…”
My lips quivered as I tried to cry. “He and his wolf couldn’t resist the matebond and… and he…”
“He what?” Alpha Theo asked with conviction.
I smirked inside my mind. Men were so easy to play with.

Taking deep breaths, I continued, “Later, Kylian lied to me and heartlessly left me alone in his pack so that he could be more powerful. All the while, he was fooling around with that low-life omega, Della.”
With pain in my eyes, I looked at Alpha Theo. “The mate bond broke me the entire night. Finally, I was able to escape. Now… I only love you. You and no one else.”
“Is that right?” he huskily asked.
I nodded. Getting my lips closer to his, I replied, “Uh-huh.”
“Prove it,” he said, but before I could reply, he already started kissing me.

Looking at Luna Lauren, I continued, “Please, allow us to love each other.”
Luna Lauren stopped and shifted her gaze to Alpha Theo, sneering.

I couldn’t help but secretly rejoice in my heart. That was much easier than I expected. Once she reject Alpha Theo, being the Luna would be so easy for me!
Expectantly, I looked at Alpha Theo. My eyes were full of desire. I quietly and suggestively tugged on his sleeve with my hand.
