"Are you kidding me?"
Flora was left dumbfounded after hearing my last comment. She stared at me with utter disbelief.
Shifting her position on the car seat, she faced me. She patted her palms on her chest as she spoke, "I just came back from Lupercalia! As your fated mate, I am destined to be the new Luna of the Dark Moon Pack!"
Breathing heavily, she continued emphasizing herself, "Margot and Natasha! They both like me so much! Why are you banishing me?"
"Are you really not aware?" I asked in a cold voice, suddenly making her freeze in her seat.
"I…"
Shaking my head, I continued with gritted teeth and without waiting for her. "Your repeated schemes and lies cost me the person I love the most. You must pay for it."
As soon as those words left my lips, Flora was left speechless. But she wasn't the only one. Even I, myself, was stunned by how those words rolled so naturally from my tongue. Shocked by how I managed to say it with so much confidence and without hesitation.
Memories of Della's wide smiles, soft laughs, and sweet moans echoed in my ears as I remembered how deeply in love I was with her even before I met Flora.
Della… I was such a big fool to forget for a little while that I loved her so much; everything about her – her soul and body.
"Have you gone mad?" Flora shouted and slapped the leather seat.
With widened red eyes, she pointed at herself. "I should be your true love!"
Scoffing with a hint of dismay, she reasoned out, "Simple and kind? I also want to be like that, but you forced me to do it! Is it so wrong for me to be jealous of Della?"
She shook her head and pointed outside the car as if Della was just right there. "Della is the third party in this relationship! I am your fated mate, but she took you away from me and stole the Luna position, which should be mine!"
"She stole nothing from you!" I stared in the clenched jaw.
Huffing, Flora stared at me with clenched teeth and blazing eyes, looking as though she had been greatly wronged. "She did appear earlier than me, but it won't change that I'm your fated mate!"
Shifting closer, she put her hand on my chest near where my heart was. Then, she leaned her face closer to me, so closer her breath was fanning my lips. "I am the only one who can make you stronger. I can give birth to your pup, who'll be blessed by the moon goddess and inherit your powerful abilities."
"Don't you see?" She softly stared at me. "Everything I did was for your sake, Kylian."
She's crazy! She's beyond reasoning at this point.
I grabbed her hand and forcefully threw it away from me with disgust.
With pangs starting to show on my lips, I leaned a bit closer at her before I roared in anger, the voice of me and my wolf mixing in the air as domination exuded all over me. "Stop deceiving yourself!"
She flinched and backed away, fear finally glinting in her eyes.
Gazing at Henry, who remained still in the driver's seat, I commanded, "Get her out of this car and throw her away with her luggage."
Henry nodded and opened the door without second thoughts.
"You can't do this!" Flora cried as she held onto the seats for dear life, but Henry was much stronger and easily pulled her away.
I watched as Flora fell onto the cold and dirty empty road with puffy eyes and face streaming with tears.
Seconds later, Henry threw her luggage on her side.
She tried holding onto him, but he pushed her away, swiftly returned to the car, and locked the doors.
"Kylian!" Flora shouted beggingly as she ran toward the car, knocking on the windows and trying to forcefully open the doors.
My heart clenched at the sight of her suffering. It's as though my heart was being single-handedly torn into a million pieces.
It's the mate bond.
The mate started getting overwhelming as an invisible burning pain slowly cursed through my veins toward my entire body.
I clenched my fist, and my breathing went rugged.
"Alpha, are you okay?" Henry looked back at me from the driver's seat.
Hearing Flora's cry was making me crazy.
With clenched teeth, I ordered, "Drive! Now!"
Without another word, Henry started the car and drove away at a high speed.
"Is it okay to just leave Flora there? I can feel this indescribable pain… We both do…" My wolf told me as we watched Flora's features through the rearview mirror, getting smaller and smaller as we got further away until she completely vanished from our sight.
I sighed and clenched my fist onto my heart, fighting the pain from the mate bond while I replied to my wolf, "When I heard Della say she wanted a divorce, the pain I felt was a whole lot more than this. This was because of the mate bond, but the pain I felt from Della… It's from love and regret of losing her."
Looking out of the window, I watched the moon follow our car through the night sky. Realization hit me today.
I love Della more than anything and anyone in this world. And Flora… she's just a curse I unfortunately encountered in my lifetime.
"I felt it too… I felt the pain when Della rejected us… But she seemed so determined. Will she still change her mind?" My wolf asked in a low voice.
"I've already driven Flora away. Once Della knows about this, she'll definitely change her mind."
I'm confident. After all, Flora's the reason she was leaving me.
Duke, my wolf, sighed deeply before calmly telling me, "It's not just Flora, you know. Margot and Natasha also bully Della. And don't forget, Della's now being accompanied by Prince Jackson. They seemed close with each other."
"Shut up!" Upon hearing her last remark, I punched the seat beside me.
With a heavy chest, I replied to him, "I'll have a good talk with Margot and Mom. As for that prince, he's just infatuated with her because she's new and a beautiful omega. Sooner or later, he'll get tired of her. There's no way he'll marry an omega."
I then swallowed, and an invisible object struck my throat. I remembered that flowy dress Della was wearing earlier. I still vividly remember how it only fell on her legs. It made her so refreshing to look at and yet so sexy with how her flawless porcelain-like legs were showing.
Her small waist and beautiful hips were also greatly emphasized. And those cleavage…
Anyone who sees her would surely be attracted to her indelible charms, which were making my blood boil even more.
Without a doubt and question, she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. So it wouldn't come as a surprise how most men would want her even if she's just an Omega.

The mere thought of them being intimate with each other was enough to make me turn into a rampage. Prince or not, I'd kill him if he as much touched her that way! I'm the only one who has a right to be like that with her!
My chest was heavily rising and falling from rage at that mere thought, and my nails were embedded in my palms.
At that moment, my phone suddenly lit up. Closing my eyes momentarily, I calmed myself first before I looked into it.
Seeing Della's name on the screen, I immediately snatched my phone and opened the message.
"Alright, I'll meet with you." You texted a reply to what I said before I left.
Instantly, joy and hope rushed into me.
My heartbeat went wild, and I immediately held Henry's shoulder and hurriedly ordered, "Quick! Make a U-turn to the Festival."
Looking forward to meeting Della, I leaned back in my seat and said, "We're going back."
