Chapter 61

Golden's POV

Seeing him in person is so mind blowing. I didn't know someone could be this magical looking. He's glowing like a star. Wow!

"A—Are you Fiscio?" I stuttered.

As expected, he didn't respond. Damon looked me with the same confused expression as mine. We have no idea how to catch his attention. But we could try?

"I am Golden and he is Damon. We're here for a reason and that's to get an answer from you," I said frankly. Sugarcoating won't help in this kind of situation. I must tell him what I need from him before he gets tired of us. "We believe that you know something about God Gaviel's bludgeon disappearance." He remained silent.

The water is starting to get colder and I can already feel my heart thumping in my chest like a vintage cellphone.

"What should we do?" I nervously whispered to the guy beside me. Damon looked at me puzzled. We weren't informed about his likings because no one knows. Only Fiscio can tell but we must own his full attention first.

"Just keep talking," he answered back. I heaved a sigh. I'm not much of a talker.

"Uhh..." I whispered. "We are more than willing to grant your wish. Just tell us and we'll do everything to make it happen!" I'm trying to sound as convincing as I can but he didn't even budge. He didn't throw me a glance nor a flinch.

This is harder than I thought.

But at least, we were able to see him before the first day ends. Meaning to say, he'd like to help us but making him spill the apple is the hardest part. He just doesn't talk.

"F—Fiscio?" I called once again.

Damon squeezed my hand gently. I glanced at him just to see his full attention on the colorful coral in front of us. What's with that?

"It's glowing," he says. I arched my brows. So what? I mean corals glow in Spheria everyday so what's new? What's up with that? "It's telling us something."

My brows furrowed. Telling us something? Well I don't talk coral language. Can he understand it through?

"What's it saying?" I asked.

My lips parted when he suddenly let go of my hand and swim closer to the colorful corals beside Fiscio. He's still sleeping like even an underwater volcano eruption can't wake him up. "Damon!" I called but he just prompted me to stay quiet.

The hell? He was talking about not letting go of hands and here he is leaving me behind.

"Damon! For Pete's sake," I called again not minding his hushing. I could have smack his head already if this wasn't an important happening but I can't do that. My amazon self might offend Fiscio. "Seriously," I blurted and followed him.

The light immediately reflects in my eyes as soon as I came much closer to the coral.

This is familiar.

What the...

Are we on...

Sayana River?

"Hold it." He guided my hands to his and my pupils dilated when the light brightens. I closed my eyes and let the light devour us to a new place. I could feel my whole body transitioning and twisting. What a weird feeling!

"Open your eyes baby," I heard him whispered.

As soon as I open my eyes widely, the crystals and pearls twinkle before me. Wow! Where are we?

"This place is beautiful!" I told him. He chuckled and turned my chin to the most awaited guest of ours.

The hell? That is Fiscio!

"I thought she' s a he?!" I blurted while looking at the beautiful woman. She has yellow painted skin and two antennas on the head. She looks gorgeous. What the actual—I can't believe that this is the same fish I was talking to two minutes ago. How is that possible?!

"Hello!" she squeaked. I almost had my cheeks turned pink because of her sexy voice. Damn! How can the Gods and Goddesses find Fiscio so intimidating when she's this beautiful? "I am Fiscio. I'm sorry if I startled you earlier. I didn't want to break my own rule and that is to get out my shell." She looks at me and at Damon.

"You two are the first one to see my true form. It will be very much appreciated if you promise me that you will keep this between yourselves and this abyss. Can you do that?" she asked. I nodded immediately. Oh my gosh! This is so fun! I can look at her all day and never get tired. How can she be that beautiful?

"Tell us your wish. We will grant in exchange of information about God Gaviel's missing bludgeon. We know you know something and you will not give it for free. Let is do the honor of giving you a gift," Damon says. He has this convincing tone on his voice and I couldn't deny the fact that's he's really goof at making people believe him. Such a charmer!

"Wish?" she repeated. Her sexy body sways like a paper when she leaned to the built-in table beside her that looked like it's made from clams. "Hmm let me think if there's anything you can get me for I already have everything." She looks at the pile of gifts that are thrown in the corner of the room. They all look new and expensive. How can we reach that kind of richness. Omo!

"Uhmmm," I awkwardly hummed.

"Oh don't worry. I won't ask for something expensive. God Gaviel knows how tired I am from receiving this lifeless expensive things from Vortans," she laughs. I sighed in so much relief. Gawd! That's good.

"But then, I might as well ask for something rare and difficult to find," she says. My heart started pounding hard. Oh no... You know we can talk about expensive stuffs. Hahah! Damn.

"Have you seen a cave that is believe to be filled with demons and evil?" She smiled diabolically. "I want you two to go there and find me the most bloody red thing you can find. Not just any red I want it very very very red!" she screams.

I grabbed Damon when we started to twirl again like we're heading back to the present.

And there we appeared in front of the sleeping Fiscio. She's still not moving and doesn't really seem to remember what we just talked about. This is her shell. This is meant to fool her guests so that they won't know what she really is and won't take advantage of her. How lucky of us to actually see her true form

"An object that is bloody red," Damon repeated. I looked at him and his looking at me with the same determined eyes.

"Yes, something very very very red," I repeated.
