I blinked my eyes multiple times trying to convince myself that this is not a dream. Am I really seeing him? He's in Spheria?
"Golden!" My lips parted when he closed the gap between us and embrace me. His warm body dominated mine and I've never felt so happy now that he's here.
I slowly wrapped my hands around his neck as he squeeze me tighter. I missed him already.
"How did you got in here?" I finally asked him. He smiles and caress my cheek.
"So you are Golden," a deep voice said. I pulled away from Damon and looked at the huge man staring at us.
I automatically bowed my head. His aura is so strong and I could already tell just by looking at him that he's somewhat high.
He's wearing an armor. Ornamented by gold and diamond crystals. I can clearly see the smoke coming out of his nose. His tall and brave figure is very intimidating.
"I'm Dragunus, God of Dragonia," he introduced himself. I knew it! He's a noble and I'm in no position to look at him straight in the eyes. I remained silent while still looking at the floor. "Please lift your head. I'd like to see your beautiful face," he asked and I hesitantly obeyed.
My eyes met his orange eyes. They are beautiful. His pupils dilated and smiled. "You are beauty," he says. Damon grab my hand and hide me behind his back.
He's on it again.
Dragunus laughs because of what he did. He can't really hide his possessiveness.
"My presence won't take long. I'm here to see Hlaford." He nodded his head and vanishes leaving me and Damon in the room. We stare at each other and smiled.
Draco's POV
I closed my eyes while listening to his loud banging inside my room.
"They found her! They found Golden!" Greg frantically yelled at me. I winced when he flipped the table upside down. His dark hair is already on fire and his hands are glowing from too much anger.
How dare this lowly flame dragon scream at me, the savior of Vortaxia.
His eyes are burning and I did not step back and glared back at him. "How dare you look at me that way!" he yells. I snarled at him and was about to throw a ball of fire at him when he said something that froze me.
"Have you forgotten who you really are?" He looks straight to my eyes.
My lips tremble. No... No!
"Shut up!"
"You are my son!"
"No, I'm not!" I growled and throw him a ball of fire. He covers himself and glare at me. My fire left a huge hole on his soiled coat.
"Yes..." He nodded his head. "You aren't. So do something! Or you will forever regret that you pretended to be Lucio's son," he warns leaving me dumbfounded. I clenched my jaw and frustratingly throw several balls of fire on the wall.
I cupped my face and screamed. My eyes are glowing from too much anger and steam keeps on coming out of my pores.
Yes...
I am not the real son of Lucio. Greg is my biological father. He wanted me to be the next God of Dragonia and so he did everything to switch me and Damon when we were still young. Greg married his brother's wife, Crystal. Lucio's sudden death made it easier for us to take his son's place.
I don't think I can handle the shame they will put on me once they knew that I'm a fake.
I will do everything to take Damon's place. I'm not just a lowly flame Dragon. I have stolen his place already! I will not let him take it away from me.
I am the last Pure Dragon of Dragonia!
I am their hope!
Golden's POV
I laughed when he gives me a small flower. "It looks just like you doesn't it?" he commented. I rolled my eyes and shake my head.
"Such a charmer."
"Golden!" a high-pitched voice called. I glanced at Elaine and wave cheerfully. She came running towards us while Gabby is following her from behind.
"How was your sleep?" she asks. I was about to answer when Damon pulled me away from her.
"Back off..." he warns.
"Woahh! Woahh! Chill man," she nervously blurted. Elaine stepped back and Gabby covered her.
We are earning so much attention already and this is not good. I glanced at the Chosens looking at us.
"Watch your mouth..." Gabby told him making Damon more frantic. I immediately grabbed his arm before the atmosphere gets worse.
"Hey! I-It's okay. They're my friends," I told him. He looks at me and his eyes are already glowing. "Calm down," I whispered. The light vanishes from her eyes and his body temperature became normal.
"What the hell was that?" Elaine exclaims. Her eyes spell confusion and I know that they're still uncomfortable around Damon.
"I'm sorry," I told her apologetically.
"It's alright. But is he okay?" she asks and look at my parsen. I smiled to her and nodded.
"Y-Yeah..." I hesitantly answered.
"Wait," Gabby mumbled. He squinted his eyes while staring intently at Damon.
"Forgive me if my reaction scared the both of you." My parsen lowered his head.
My eyebrows furrowed because of Gabby's consistent staring. Is there something wron—Oh! My eyes widened when I realized something. I almost forgot that his gift is telepathy. He can read minds!
I must keep Damon's race a secret!
I hurriedly raised my hand and covered Damon's eyes.
"I-I have a surprise for you. Haha!" I awkwardly laughed and turn him around.
"I'm sorry but we have to go," I told them and push Damon inside the Dining Hall.
"What are you doing?" he asks. I looked up to him and I frown when I saw his eye peaking in between my small fingers.
"We're so dead once he knew you're a dragon," I whispered to him. His brows furrowed. "Gabby's gift is telepathy. We're not allowed to share your identity with anyone yet."
"I know." He smiles.
He holds my hand and my face softens when he give me a kiss on the forehead.
I stand in front of a floating table and say the magic word, "Dinia Chosva!" The table slowly descended and we both occupied the two seats.
I was eating alone in this same table yesterday. I can't believe he's here.
