Golden's POV

I was having a feast on our table. I enjoyed the food before me but it's the complete opposite to Damon. He keeps on looking around like he's threatened that someone might steal our precious moment.

"Are you not going to enjoy your food?" I asked while looking at his full plate. He hasn't touched it and it honestly breaks my heart. I feel bad for the food.

"Being surrounded by hundreds of Chosens suffocates me," he said coldly. I pursed my lips and pouted.

I really don't get it. These four kingdoms share the same world and yet they hate each other?

"Do I suffocate you?" I looked at his eyes. He lifted his head and smiled.

"Of course, not."

I frowned.

"I don't get it. Why are we prohibited to mingle with other races?" He puts his spoon on the table and take a sip on his juice.

He heaved a sigh.

"It's a long story," he replied shortly.

"Then make it tiny," I told him. He rolled his eyes jokingly and chuckles. He grab a spoon of his food and insert it in my mouth.

"Ahmp!" I complained.

"Finish your food. I don't want to stay here any longer," he says. I clicked my tongue and started eating again.

"Well... Look who's here," a familiar voice said. I lifted my head and saw the same purple hair from yesterday. Her eyeliner is so thick that it made her look like she has black eyes. Her hair is on a messy bun and I noticed Lucy shadowing her at the back.

I smiled when Lucy waved at me.

"Oh? So you got yourself a parsen?" she taunted. Damon looks at her blankly and I know that things are about to turn ugly any minute.

"Cecilia, leave us alone," I growled trying to warn her. She smirks at me and turned to look at Damon. I know that he's just trying to control his temper and he's not really good at it.

"Cecilia!" a deep voice called. I saw a man running towards us and I squinted my eyes to see his face.

My eyes grew big when I realized who it was.

"T-Travis?" I stuttered.

He grabs her arm and glare at her. "You're being the bully you are again!" he scolded. Travis looks at me and I saw how his face changed when our eyes met.

"Golden! You're here?" he exclaims. There's a hint of joy in his voice and I couldn't help it but share the same emotion. I can't believe he's a Vortan!

He pulled me into an embrace and I happily accepted it.

"Pissed off..." Damon warned. I chuckled and pulled away from Travis.

"You know each other?" Cecilia blurted while looking at us disgusted. Damon grabs my hand and I just let him.

"She's the girl I'm talking about." Travis smiles.

"Eww? We never talked you nerdy piece of ivaw." She rolls her eyes and walked out. Travis looked at me with a funny expression.

"I feel bad for you," I told him jokingly.

"Oh yes, please do. She's the complete opposite of me and it's hurting my head already." He massages his temples and I couldn't help it but release a soft laugh.

He glanced at Damon and chuckled. "Looks like your boyfriend's a little mad now. I better leave and follow that brat before she causes turmoil." He waved at me and I smiled.

I watched Travis disappear from my sight. I heaved a deep sigh. I looked at Damon and I almost had a heart attack when I saw how dark his face is.

"What?" I asked.

His thick brows have meet already because of his annoyed expression and I couldn't help it but laugh. He looks so cute.

"You really know how to use that pretty smile of yours, don't you?" He clicked his tongue. I laughed softly and pinch his pointed nose. I giggled when it turned red.

"Aw!"

"Sorry!"

We went back to our room after having our breakfast. We were told to attend the assembly hall at noon. They said they will tour us around Spheria Kingdom with a unicorn.

I've never seen a unicorn before and I'm so excited to fly!

"Hey..." I heard him called.

I stopped on reading my book and lifted my head to look at Damon. My face heated when I saw his half naked body. I covered my face using the book and squealed.

"Put on some clothes!"

He sexily laughs.

I heard his footsteps walking around the room. I peaked to see what he's doing and I sigh in relief when I saw him looking for something to wear. His back is facing me and I couldn't help it but stare at his perfectly built body.

His wet blonde hair is dropping water on his silky white skin. It's flashing before my eyes like pearls. His back muscles that flexes everytime he moves are very satisfying. I smiled when I see steam coming out of his body.

Ow... Yeah right.

He's so hot.

"Enjoying the view?" I snapped out of my thoughts and closed my mouth. Was I drooling?

"Shut up!" I hissed and covered my red face with a book. That's embarrassing... But wait! We're mates, right? Does that mean...

We'll mate?

Oh...

Oh! Oh! My thoughts are so annoying. How can a girl like me think about those kind of stuffs? Golden you are not a pervert. You are a reserved woman.

I combed my blonde hair using my fingers and closed my eyes.

No, Golden. You will not look at him!

I put the table on my bedside table and lay on my bed. I make sure to face the wall to avoid my annoying eyes from looking.

I gasped when a pair of hands wrapped around my waist. "Hey..." he whispers. My eyes widened and I can feel my heart racing. "I'm wearing clothes now. You can look at me. Please don't face the wall."

"I... I... I think you should—oh my!" I closed my eyes when he pulled me closer to him. He lay beside me and buried his face on my neck.

"You smell sweet."

Uhm... This is nice. I relaxed my tensed hands and let our bodies touch. I like it when he's hugging me.

I feel owned.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

I opened my eyes and looked at the door. Damon hisses and planted a quick kiss on my neck. He gets up and walked towards the door.

I wonder who could it be.

He opens the door and my brows furrowed when his eyes widened. I sat on the bed and approached him. "Who is it?" I asked him but he didn't answer.

I looked at the door and my lips parted when I saw the red-haired guy. He smirks at me.

"Hello, dear parsen."
