KAIDEN POV
I can't believe this shit!
"Why do you have to do that Maeve?" I ask Maeve over the telephone. I was upset and I did'nt try to hide it!

I know I promise not to communicate Maeve while she's away but I don't like what she did AT ALL!
"Im sorry Kaiden, It just, I want to be relieved while Im here in Thailand. While where away away from each other. I" she pause and sigh "I hope you don't mind."
"I do mind Maeve! I don't like what you want to happen. At least a little you don’t trust me. That's why you have the courage to suggest that we don't communicate while you're away, as if you already know the consequences of your actions." I sigh before I continue my words "That's why you keep an eye on me so that I don't get my attention on others."
"Why do you seem so affected? Are you planning to go cheat while I'm gone?!" There was annoyance and doubt in her voice
"Its not like that Maeve. I just want you to know that it's not right that someone watch over me while you're gone."
"Oh is that so? If you can't understand me, if you can't give me what I want then go on! Live your life to the fullest while I'm gone" she shouted and ended the call

I can't believe what Maeve did! Her selfishness and being paranoid is killing me! I tried to call her again but I could no longer contact her phone.
I GOT A big project so my colleagues encouraged me to indulge in a Bar. Honestly I’m not very fond of music and disco bars. I only go to this place when someone invited me or sometimes if I want to relax and have a drink in quiet and not too crowded bars.
"I hope you took your girlfriend with you, Bro." Lucky said, an architect, the person Im closest at the work
"Maeve is in Thailand right Bro?" Asked by Peter. He's already a Archi too.

I nodded "Yeah. She was stay there for one month. She just left the other day."
Lucky laugh "It's too bad your 'eggplant' bro. One month, That won't come in enter for a month."
I smirk. I can't say that I haven't brought Maeve to bed yet. It's not because Maeve is the quick type to bring there. Our relationship was new and she said we shouldn't do that yet. Although I did not agree with her point of view, I fully respected her decision.
I suddenly thought of Ashly. I haven't seen her since we split up at the restaurant. I thought Maeve might have called her to stop watching me. It would be nice if that happened. I don't want to see Ashly ever again. She gaves me creeps because she's obviously a freak and weird.
I just shook my head and focused on drinking.
"If I'm you, just enjoy the lap of others while she's gone. Lots of chicks here, Waiting to approach and flirt with you." In our circle of my friends, Lucky is most flirt and carefree person. And sometimes, Peter. And our most hardworking Engineer, Quintin. He just returned from Pennsylvania last 2 months ago.
But tonight he's late already.
Instead of respond what he said, I just swallowed the rest of liquor on my glass.
"Shut up Lucky. That's faithful to Maeve."
"Bro, Rather than haven't had sex in a month right? It doesn't mean that you will leave Maeve. You can just taste another dish. When the original is there, it's her again." Lucky even insinuated as if he didn't want to give up the motivation.
Peter would have said to stop Lucky's urging me to be cheat when someone appeared next to me. My eyes widened slightly to see who! It was just that freak Ashly. I was wrong to think that Ashly had already leave me alone. It looks like tonight she will start watching over me.
"Hi. Can I join you guys?" She asked with a charming smile on her lips
Peter and Lucky looked up as well.
She's not wearing the same style last we met, She's wearing sexy now. A navy blue backless bodycon slip dress. It also exposed her deep cleavage. Her red cupid-bow-like lips are also attractive. She only applied lip tint I guess because her lips are naturally red.
When I looked at the my friends again, they still stunned by Ashly.
"Yeah sure." Lucky said smiling. Lucky stood up and offered the seat between mine and Lucky
I felt anxious the moment she looked at me. She seemed to have no intention of letting my companions know that we know each other. It looks like she's planning something and whatever it is I'm sure I won't like it.
"Thanks," Ashly said and sit in the empty seat offered by Lucky "Im Ashly, by the way."
My friends also introduced their selfs. Im wondering if I would pull Ashly away from my companions or just let her do what she was planning.
"Im Lucky." he even took ashly's hand and kissed it "Nice too meet you Assly" "Ashly's sharp eye on Lucky didn't escape on me "-Opps sorry I mispronounce, Ashly, Nice too meet you Ashly."
It also disappeared suddenly and was replaced by a smile. If Ashly had been watching me, she probably heard Lucky's urging on me. I will surely says, Lucky is in trouble.
I simply kicked lucky's foot under the table. He look at me and I whispered to him softly.
"Don't messed up with her." Lucky didn't seem to hear that and misinterpreted because he grinned. "What Kaiden? You want her? She's your type? Sure, Im very tolerant for people like you in a 'dry season'." He even laugh. Now he will be dead.
"Ashly, this is Kaiden. But let me tell you the truth okay? The truth is he alreadt have girlfriend but their in a 'cool off' for a month so he's pretty free now. I think he likes you if you also like him then bring it on." Lucky said and even applauded
Her face darkened. Her eyes seemed to suddenly glow in anger as it focused on Lucky. Before I could even predict what Ashly would do she quickly grabbed Lucky's wineglass and threw the wine straight at Lucky's face. We're shock.
"What the fvck?" Lucky's angry reaction after being shock
"Men like you should be slaughtered." Ashly said angrily
"Ashly!" I rebuked her
"You bitch!!" Lucky looks like he's going to grab Ashly but she stands up promptly. Ashly's fist clenched and hit Lucky's cheekbone. My friend looks like a statue.
"Don't ever persuade Kaiden to cheat on Maeve again or else you can taste my fist and that's not all you will take.
She threatened my friend who hadn't figured out what had happened. Ashly left me with a threatening look before she left. She even collided with Quintin who was just arrive, at the door, their both shocked Quintin had his hand on Ashly's waist so she wouldn't be straight on the floor.
WHEN I CAME out of the building I was working, I immediately looked around and made sure Ashly was not around.
'Looks like my guard is absent today ah'. I got in my car and drove to my Suite. That bitch had been stalking me for 3 days now after what happen in the bar.
The other day, I saw in the side mirror of the car I was driving her motor cycle followed. I was going to a Cafè yesterday to meet my client. When I came out of the cafe, she was still there. I was at the site of the building I designed yesterday when I saw her in the distance. She was sitting on her motorcycle and wireless earphones on her ear. She was a nuisance. Even if she doesn't approach me, I'm still irritated by what she's doing but even so, I still have to put up with that to prove that I have no intention of cheating on Maeve while she’s not here.
A few moments later I arrived in my Suite. I took a shower and put on fresh clothes and went to the kitchen to cook dinner. While cooking, I thought about what Ashly did to Lucky there at the bar. When he found out that Maeve and Ashly were friends, he eventually lost his temper. He said he understood what Ashly did and he said he admired Ashly, he said he admired such kind of women: brave and tough.
If I were to describe Ashly the words that would better describe it here would be ‘Freak’ ‘Bold’ ‘Aggresive’ ‘Dangerous'. No sensible man would like that kind of woman.
To this day I still don't understand why and how Maeve had such a friend. Ashly acts and behave so unladylike. She spoke like a gangster and even ate like a monster.
I put what I cooked on the table when someone doorbell. I went to the door but I could see nothing in the peephole. However I still opened the door. I was shocked in my mind when I saw who rang the doorbell.
ASHLY POV
I was leaning against the wall next to the door "Hi." I greeted Kaiden with a smile. His eyebrows met immediately, that's how he always reacts when he sees me.
"What are you doing here?"
"Im here to visit to my new neighbor."
His forehead furrowed "Neighbor?"
"I just move here." I said while pointing to the Suite opposite his suite "So technically, we're neighbors now"
He obviously couldn't believe it "Are you serious?"
"Are we close enough to joke you?"
