It really was a special day — all the male leads gathered here, even Damian.
Oh, right, he’s a top-tier doctor. He’s probably here because I was brought to his hospital.
If this were before, I’d probably be thrilled. But now I only wanted to go home.

Damian calmly checked the instruments beside me, monitoring my vital signs.
Once everything stabilized, he said to the others,
“She’s fine now.”
Hearing this, the other men didn’t look relieved. Instead, they glared at me angrily.
Grayson was the first to lash out,
“If you didn’t know where Scarlett was, why didn’t you tell the truth? Making us worry for nothing.”

“You deserve what happened to you.”
I glanced at the others — they all had the same attitude. I smirked,
“Truth? That I never hid Scarlett? Would you have believed me?”
“You wouldn’t have. And I’ve said it countless times over the years that I didn’t bully Scarlett, that she’s framed me. When have any of you ever believed me?”

Everyone fell silent.
Scarlett’s eyes flashed with nervousness, but she quickly regained her composure and said pitifully,
“That’s not true… I never… I…”
Seeing her pitiful expression, Joseph immediately held her tenderly, wiping away her tears.
“I know.”
Grayson also rushed to Scarlett’s side, trying desperately to cheer her up.
“Scarlett, don’t cry. We all believe you.”
Even the usually aloof Xavier anxiously pulled a piece of candy from his pocket and placed it in her hand, comforting her,
“Of course we believe you. Don’t cry, babe. I’ll take you out to play later, okay?”
Surrounded by everyone, Scarlett finally smiled through her tears.
Smugly holding Joseph’s arm, she glanced at me triumphantly.
I couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh.
“See? No matter how much I explain, it’s never as convincing as a single word from her. What else do you want me to say? It’s not like you’d believe me anyway.”
But then Damian suddenly spoke up,
“I believe you!”
He gazed at me firmly, his tone resolute,
“I believe you, Lily. From now on, I’ll take you home. You don’t have to worry about having nowhere to go.”
Everyone was shocked. I looked at him, a playful smirk on my lips,
“Take me home? Damian, are you going to marry me?”
The moment I said it, Damian’s expression turned panicked. He glanced quickly at Scarlett and immediately explained,
“That’s impossible!”
“I said I’d never get married.”
“Besides, with your status now, being allowed to clean my house is already an honor.”
“If it weren’t for Scarlett’s kindness, you wouldn’t even qualify for that.”
I was utterly stunned. What did Damian just say?
