My interest was piqued—few stores dared to engage in such blatant scams.
Digging deeper,I found buyers exposing the owner as no elite designer.
Her“custom”claim was nonsense—she bought cheap wholesale clothes and marked them up.

“Bold move!”I marveled.“Desperate for cash,huh?”
Then,a bombshell—someone revealed the owner’s identity.
I sat up straight, my eyes wide open.
“No way,is it really her?”I rubbed my eyes,double-checking.
It was her!
My ex-husband’s mistress, the woman who flaunted herself at me!

The shop’s logo showed Lily, dolled up in a flowy gown, smiling sweetly.
Despite heavy filters,I recognized her instantly.
“Well,well,this is how she got rich?”I sneered.“High-end custom?More like low-end mass production!”
The more I thought, the funnier it got. He’d praised her to the skies, and this was it?

He clearly didn’t know her“high-end”boutique sold shoddy market goods.
Her“PR skills”were probably inflated too!
I tracked down her old company, got her contact info, and posted it in the reviews.
The comment section exploded—people vowed to call and message her, demanding justice.
The next morning, humming a tune, I headed to the spa.
My custom skincare was ready for pickup.
At the entrance,I saw Lily in a bathrobe, hair wet, stepping out.
“Well,isn’t it Ms.Harper?President or not,still unwanted?”She smirked mockingly.
I glanced at her. Judging by her dark circles and haggard look, I knew that the chaos caused by last night’s reviews had kept her up.
My mood lifted.I went to the counter.
“Are my skincare products ready?”
“Yes,Ms.Harper,one moment,”the clerk said warmly,fetching them.
Lily sauntered over,craning her neck.
“Oh,what’s this?”she gasped dramatically.“No packaging?Just plastic bottles?So cheap!”
I held a bottle, saying,“These are tailored for my skin,all-natural,unlike some who chase pricey brands without knowing what suits them.”
“You…”Her face stiffened,then she sneered,“So rich,yet buying bargain skincare?”
Ignoring her, I opened a bottle, and a faint herbal scent wafted out.
“Perfect,”I nodded, feeling pleased.
Lily eyed the plain bottles labeled“Day Cream”and“Night Cream,”growing smugger.
I stared coldly,silent.
“You know,if you’d revealed your status sooner,I wouldn’t have taken him,”she taunted, reveling in my supposed heartbreak.
“Thanks for taking that trash,”I said sharply.“Now get out of my house—final warning!”
I smirked as I walked over to pay.
“Wait!”Lily called.“Ms.Harper,since you’re so pathetic and single,I’ll cover your skincare.Kevin gave me his card.”
I turned,giving her a mocking look.They’d hooked up officially,and he never gave me his card,but I didn’t care.
“How generous of you. I’ll accept,”I told the clerk, smiling.“She’s paying for my custom skincare.”
“Got it,”the clerk nodded,grinning.
Lily beamed,expecting my gratitude.
“There’s no need to thank me. My boyfriend, the general manager, earns a fortune. Even if I were jobless, I’d be fine.”
I sneered inwardly, keeping my face expressionless.
The clerk packed the items and told Lily,“Total is$28,888.”
“What?$28,000?”Lily froze.“How much?”
The clerk smiled,repeating,“$28,888.”
Lily gaped, pointing at the skincare set.“Just…these two creams?$28,000?”
“Yes,ma’am,”the clerk explained patiently.“These are premium imported products with rare natural ingredients, great for skin issues and anti-aging…”
Lily stood dumbfounded,speechless.
I bit back a laugh as she reluctantly pulled out her card.
“Swipe it.”
“Done.”
She looked like she’d just swallowed a fly.
“Thanks for shopping,”the clerk said, handing me the bag.
I took it,heading out,then paused,glancing back at Lily.
“Oh,thanks for the skincare.I’ll use it well.”
I left the spa without looking back.
Lily stomped off in a fury.“You’ll pay for this!”
