But Sophia was done protecting him.

"Emma, it was all Chloe's idea to frame you. She was jealous of your luck, like having loving parents and better fortune. I didn't do anything! Please beg Sophia for me!"
I kicked him away like garbage.

Chloe cowered. In my last life, her and Daniel's lies got me killed by Sophia. This life, the beating was nothing compared to my pain.

Sophia was really angry. She kicked Daniel with her high - heeled shoes, and he yelled in pain.
"You backstabbing leech! I was so good to you. I forgave your cheating, but I was so stupid!"
Daniel was beaten up and turned on Chloe. He started hitting her.
"Bitch, it's your fault! You said you'd handle Emma—how'd you mess it up?"
Chloe dodged, clinging to my leg.
"Emma, you're my best friend—don't let me die!"
She was trying to make me feel bad, but I wasn't going to fall for it.
"Chloe, I treated you like a sister, but you don't deserve it!"
Sophia called security and dragged them out.
"Throw these scum out. Daniel, wait for your court summons!"
No one heeded their pleas. The crowd recorded it , posted it online, and made fun of them. When I died in my last life, no one helped me. Now, Chloe and Daniel got what they deserved.
