My adopted sister, Emily, was a fakely love-obsessed.
On my birthday, she came home with some lowlife thug named Jack, sobbing and begging to marry him.
Of course my parents were furious—I tried to talk sense into her too. Who would willingly watch their sister throw herself into a dumpster fire?

She promised obediently on the surface, but as soon as she went out the door, she told Jack that our whole family were snobs who looked down on his humble background.
She also promised to him that even if we despised his status as a thug, she would still marry him because he was truly her love.
Jack, who was already full of anger, returned with a knife and butchered our whole family. Emily cried pretty tears for the cops, played the grieving victim perfectly and had Jack arrested, gaining a good reputation in the end.
Then, she took all of our family's property and happily returned to her biological parents'home.
When I opened my eyes to find myself reliving that nightmare birthday, I didn't hesitate to stop my angry parents and said to Emily, "Sis, if you love him that much, who are we to stand in your way? Go ahead—marry him."
...

"Sis, please! You have to help me convince our parents!"
"I'll never love someone like this again!"
Seeing this familiar scene again,I felt an indescribable anger in my heart.
Emily knelt in front of my parents and me with tears in her eyes and a determined look on her face.

She acted so real.
If I didn't know her true nature,I would definitely be deceived by her again.
My parents beside her were shaking with anger.
They pointed at her, ready to unleash the same scolding that had doomed us before.
When Emily saw this, a spark of triumph appeared in her eyes.
Cold resolve settled over me. Noticing the deliberately unlatched door, I sneered in my heart and stepped forward, blocking my parents.
Emily's mask slipped for half a heartbeat—a flicker of irritation before she met my gaze and immediately put on a pitiful look as if she was willing to die for love.
She looked at me with tears in her eyes, saying sincerely, "Sis, this is the only time I'm asking you for help."
Seeing that she still wanted to insist, my mother couldn't hold back anymore. With a look of great distress on her face, she said, "Emily, you're still too young to understand many things."
I cut her off gently.
Every word of concern Mom wanted to pour out was wasted on this viper!
She didn't deserve our family's sincere kindness to her.
She was just an ungrateful ingrate!
In the last life, our family treated her with all our hearts.
Even though she was adopted,we never mistreated her in the slightest.
Even after I started working,I tried my best to meet all her various living needs.
But how did she repay us?
All she could care about was her biological parents who had once abandoned her!
She even followed their instructions luring that murderer to our doorstep!
Since Emily was heartless and ungrateful, if my mother didn't stop, it wouldn't end well. Instead, it would provoke that bastard outside the door.
If that happened, maybe our family would end up with the same fate as in the last life.
I absolutely couldn't allowed that to happen again!
My mother was a bit confused about my obstruction, but at this moment, she didn't know what to say.
My father frowned at me like he sensed something was off, saying, "Luna, if you have something to say, just say it."
I glanced at my father and finally looked at Emily who was kneeling on the ground.
Remembering her words when she was crying and begging me to help her just now,a smile appeared on my face.
"Emily, you're a woman now. If this is your choice, then you should marry him immediately."
My parents were shocked and their eyes immediately showed dissatisfaction. Before they could react to me, they heard Emily scream. "What?!"
There was a look of shock on her face, and the disgust in her eyes was not hidden at all.
This performance cracked just for an instant, but long enough for my parents to freeze mid-breath.
Noticing her uncontrolled manner, Emily turned pale but she quickly restrained her expression.
I pounced before she could recover, questioning, "Emily, why? Sis has already supported you in pursuing true love. Why are you upset?"
Emily stammered, "Sis, I'm not all right..."
"But you just sound like regret to me."
