Suddenly,he saw his colleague dragging a bag with great difficulty in the distance.He rushed over like a man possessed.
"Let me see her!"Finn's eyes were bloodshot as he knocked his colleague to the ground.
"Finn,calm down!Your girl is already..."
"Get out of the way!I don't believe it.Let me see!"
As they fought over the bag,it rolled down the mountain.
I sighed.I never thought I'd be tortured like this even after death.
Surprisingly,Finn chased after it without a second thought.He fell countless times on the way but didn't care one bit about his injuries.He just got up and kept running.
He tumbled down the hillside,and by the time he reached the foot of the mountain,he was covered all in wounds and blood.
"Finn,what the hell are you doing?"His colleague caught up,gasping for breath,grabbed his collar,and slapped him hard.
The loud slap echoed through the valley.
But Finn seemed not to feel the pain.He just knelt in front of the bag,his hands shaking violently as he reached out for the zipper.
"You wanted to see her?If you can't do it,I will!"His colleague roared and unzipped the bag,revealing my pale face.
"Eva!"Finn exclaimed.His body swayed,and he almost fainted.
"I'm sorry.I'm too late..."He kept apologizing,his voice hoarse and tears were streaming down his face.
I was lying there,cold and stiff,with the fear and despair of my last moments still etched on my face.
Standing behind him,I felt nothing but bitterness,thinking that I had been blind to have loved such a person for the past three years.
