It was as if he had forgotten about my existence.
However,Lily's social media feed was filled with posts every day.Those photos were full of the traces of Jack and her life together.
She seemed to be afraid that no one would see them.
I couldn't be bothered to pay attention and blocked Lily on the spot.
The reason I added her was that three years ago,Jack worked overtime until two in the morning one day and still didn’t come home.
I couldn't get through to him on the phone either.
I was frantic with worry.
I not only searched for him outside but also almost called all of our mutual friends.
Finally,someone timidly said that they saw Jack hugging and being lovey-dovey with his first love at the airport.
After saying that,they sent me Lily's contact information.
After adding her,the first thing I asked was,"Is Jack with you?"
"Yes."
After getting a positive answer,the panic in my heart disappeared,replaced by endless sadness.

Jack pretended to kiss her.

Jack finally turned around upon hearing my voice.

He asked in confusion,"Where have you been?Why didn’t you stay at home properly?"
Before I could speak,Lily interjected,"Grace,did you go out to look for Jack?Don't worry.We didn't do anything."
Her words successfully made Jack believe that I couldn't resist going out and tail him out of jealous over his meeting with Lily.
Jack shot me a disdainful look and snapped,"Didn't I tell you to stay at home?What did you go out for?You're dressed so sloppily.Don't you know it's embarrassing?"
I casually glanced at my clothes.
It was ridiculous to think about it.
These were the clothes that Jack had chosen for me before.
I still remember him saying,"Grace,you look good in this outfit."
But now he thinks they are sloppy.
Oh yes,compared to the famous brands Lily was wearing,I really couldn't bear to look at myself.
I smiled coldly."What?Are you afraid that I'll get in the way of your intimacy with Lily?"
Jack sighed."Grace,don't overthink itI didn't do anything except take care of her."
Lily suddenly coughed violently."Yes.If I hadn't been drugged and then come down with pneumonia, I wouldn't have troubled Jack at all."
"Grace,if you want to blame someone,blame me.It's my poor health."
Jack regarded her with a look of deep concern and poured her a glass of water."Drink slowly.I've already boiled the medicine for you.You'll be better after drinking it later."
Lily looked at me provocatively and then said,"It's okay for me.Jack,Grace is angry.You should go and comfort her first."
Jack said,"What are you rambling on about?I've already asked for leave from the hospital.I'll take care of you at home these few days."
After seeing to all this,he finally turned to me and said irritably,"What are you standing there for?Clean up the room and make space for Lily to live in."
I was so furious that my whole body was trembled.I couldn't hold back but say harshly,"What?Isn't it enough that you two slept together behind my back?Now you want to show it to me right in front of my eyes?Jack,can you two have some decency?"
Probably because my expression was so livid, he was taken aback for a moment and then tried to explain again"Her illness hasn't recovered yet.Our home is closer to the hospital.If Lily lives here,it's more convenient for me to take her to the hospital."
I laughed and took out a document from my bag."Why bother so much?Sign this,and I promise I'll stay far away from you two and make space for Lily."
