"Why are you so afraid to call him? Are you telling us that you're afraid that we are right that you didn't know your best friend so well?" Adam asked him with annoying face.
The lawyer was awakened, he realized that maybe the two are right. He might be afraid to know the truth about what his best friend did. So, he asked Adam and Hannah looking for proof.
"Then, why are you telling me that he betrayed me?" Asked the lawyer searching the truth.
"That is because Hannah and I thought that you were best friends and you haven't lost in any case you handled before. Therefore, we concluded that, only one of you will win and the other one will lose his case. If you won this case, your best friend will lose his case. So, to win the case he sabotages you by getting the evidences you have," Adam explained. "He did that, just to prove that the battle between you and him, he's better than you and no one can defeat him," he added.
"How did you find out? How sure are you that my best friend did that?" Asked Atty. Galiego not believing the two. "He is not like what you think. He's kind and he's always supporting me every step of the way," he added.
"Of course, he will support you because it's your battle over other people and not over him but what if you are both in the same battle?" Vhiann said getting a hint from what the two uttered.
"Let's tell him what we did," Hannah said and stared at Adam.
"Do you still remember that you told us to leave the evidences in your house because you are sure that it is safe there?" she tried to remind the lawyer about what he said before they leave the house.
"You trusted your best friend so much. But he betrayed you," Vhiann said. "I'm still confused," she added.
"Can you enter your pin code now attorney?" Requested Adam.
"The attorney entered his pin code but the device says 'your pin code is incorrect'," the lawyer wondered why he can't open it.
"If you want to open your door and you can't open it by that device and there's something important that you have to get inside of your house, you don't have key to open it. What are you going to do then?" Hannah asked.
"I'm going to use tools to open it," the lawyer answered.
"See…you have the same mindset. He opened your door the same thing you told us now," Adam said.
"But why it keeps us telling the pin code is incorrect?" Vhiann asked.
"Hannah and I changed the pin code when you walked away from us. We saw Atty. Galiego entered the pin code when we get inside his house to keep the evidences," Adam explained.
"So, we had the chance to change your pin code attorney, knowing that your best friend will secretly come in your house to get the evidences," Hannah added.
"Unluckily, they still got the evidences from us," the lawyer uttered in a low energy tone.
"Luckily, they didn't get the evidences," replied the two.
"What do you mean?" Asked Vhiann and Atty. Galiego.
"We brought the evidences with us. We still have the evidences," Hannah said happily.
"Hannah told you that she will go to the rest room first and I told you that I will just get some water in my tumbler. Do you still remember that?" Adam asked them trying to remind Vhiann and Atty. Galiego.
"Oh yes! You did." Vhiann answered. "Don't tell me..." she cut her words and stopped.
"If what's on your mind is, I lied saying that will go to the rest room, what's on your mind is correct," Hannah uttered.
"Where is your proof that he's the one who tried to steal the evidences we have?" Attorney asked them wondering.
"That alibi made us execute our plan, we decided to install security camera here in your house to see who tried to get the evidences, instead of monitor I connected it in my smartwatch. Look!" He showed his smartwatch and played the time they left the house alone.
"That's Atty. Nicdao right? Your best friend! He's searching for something," Vhiann said. He's wearing a cap. "And those four, they're Kiarra, Kesiah, Dave and Terrence," she added.
"You are both genius!" Vhiann praised them. "A tandem of game player and a cheerleader worked together to execute a good plan," she added.
"Yeah, game players are good with technology, they are also good with sports," Hannah looked at Adam.
"Cheerleaders are not just flexible they also have sharp minds," Adam admired Hannah.
Atty. Galiego bowed his head and cried. "I thought he's my best friend, the one I can trust at all times, in all things. He secretly betrayed me this time. I'm really mad at myself trusting a man like him," he exclaimed.
The three hugged him and said, "It's okay! We should not judge him by doing that", said Vhian.
"All we need to do is to find out why he did this to you." Hannah uttered.
"Maybe he has valid reason." Adam whispered.
"I'm so sorry for showing you that attitude. I insulted you Adam and Hannah. Uggghhh! Too blind to believe you," he cried and pleaded. "I didn't just insult you both, I punched your handsome face Adam using this low-tempered fist, I am so sorry! Please forgive me for what I did to you," the lawyer apologized.
"You don't have to apologize attorney! I understand the reasons why," Adam answered with a smile. "It's really hard to be betrayed by someone whom you trusted the most," he added.
"Adam and Hannah, you are so wise! You did that to save the evidences, I am so amazed of your wise plan. You are really meant for each other," Vhiann uttered.
"I am so lucky to have you all in my team. I should say that, you'll be better than me in the near future," Atty. Galiego complimented them.
"Before that, we have to analyze what Mr. Jones told you. Tell me what information you gathered in the interrogation. We can go back to that topic as soon as we finish the murder case of Mrs. Jones," Atty. Galiego said.
"You're an amazing man, really a professional one. It's an honor and privilege to work with such a man like you," said the three. "You're right! Let's start and go back to the case analysis," they added.
"I don't want to work here. Too messy, I can't think fast. We better go to Jones's house for a secret mission," the lawyer told them.
