"Believe me, I can't kill my wife I love her more than I love myself. So please, do everything to punish the real murderer," Mr. Jones exclaimed. "I can't do nothing to give her death's justice but to tell you one thing you can't give her the real justice if I will be punished," he added.
"We believe in you, all we need to do is to enter your house secretly for some investigation," Hannah told him. "Only if you allow us to do so," she continued.
"You can go there anytime you want. I know you're the persons who can help me out of this picture. I would rather choose to die with my wife than being accused behind the crime," he bowed his head and punched the table.
"You can search our house to get some evidences proving that there's other person inside our house when my wife died. I don't know him, still, I will give you my permission to look every single detail of our house to solve this case," Mr. Jones permitted them.
They asked him if they can go to their house for further investigation, just a secret one though they already got the evidences. Mr. Jones allowed them to enter the house because he wanted to prove that he didn't kill his wife. He wants the killer put into jail and give her wife's death justice.
By this, their gut feels strengthen that Mr. Jones is not the killer of his wife. They started to think of some scenarios but in order to do that they have to be in the crime scene. Atty. Galiego came back after answering the phone call but he's too late, the interrogation time was done, and it was successfully done by the three young detectives.
Before they went in the house of Jones, Atty. Galiego decided to go home and get the evidences.
"I think it's better if we will go home first to get the evidences. It will help us solve the case of Mrs. Franchesca Thames-Jones," Atty. Galiego explained.
"That's a good idea attorney, I think we should," the three agreed.
The lawyer leads them home and they followed him. When they reached the house, they saw that the house is open. Atty. Galiego runs fast and the three followed him with lots of question marks in their minds like, "Who did that?", "How did that person enter the house?" With that of questions last on their minds, they continue walking.
"Ohhhh nooooo! What happened to my house? Hey! Adam, Hannah. Didn't you locked the door before leaving it?" he shouted at the two.
"Of course, we did! Why are you shouting at us? Are you mad?" They answered.
His house messed up. It looks like a garbage container full of trashes inside. He didn't expect what happened. Bad guys went to his house and tried to get the evidences they found in the house of Jones. The door had damages, the door knob was ruined.
The lawyer searched the area where he left the evidences, but the evidences are not there. The first thing came up into his mind was the evidences were taken by the one who entered his house.
It was empty, we lost the evidences, he held his head and messed up his hair like a crazy man who lost everything after losing the evidences he had on in his hand a while ago.
"Atty. Galiego, I think this is sabotage!" Vhiann said angrily.
"Does the killer know that we got the evidences? And now he's trying to ruin our plans," Adam uttered.
"Look! You were sabotaged by someone you know. The one who did this knew how to open your door without doing something on it like destroying it, use something to open it like sharp objects. But he is not wise," Adam added. "So, don't blame us. We locked the door," he said.
"How did you say so? My door was full of damage, it was ruined by someone that's why they get inside my house and get the evidences we have," said Atty. Galiego sadly.
"Look at the security device, there's a lot of fingerprints who tried to open your door but I guess he wasn't able to get the correct pin code. Desperately, he used tools to open it to get the evidences," Adam explained.
"Did you see that attorney?" Adam points out the security device.
"Now that we lost the evidences, how can we help Mr. Jones prove he is not guilty of the murder case if we don't have the evidence now," the lawyer said seeing his face losing hope.
If the one who got the evidences here tried to enter pin code, therefore he knew how to open it," Vhiann said.
"Is there someone you entrust with your pin code?" She asked the lawyer curiously.
"Atty. Nicdao knew my pin code. Just the two of us. We are best friends as I told you earlier," said Atty. Galiego. "But if my best friend tried to open the door using my pin code, why he didn't open the door? I don't think he's the one who got the evidences," he said.
"Attorney, I know what you are doing," Hannah said.
"What? What do you mean?" Asked the lawyer confusingly.
"You are trying to convince yourself that your best friend can't do that to you right? But he did. Wake up! Your best friend betrayed you," Hannah answered bravely.
"We already knew it. Yes, you're right. If he knows your pin code, he doesn't have to open your door this way. He entered your pin code but it is incorrect so. he finds way to get the evidences you have in your hand," Hannah added.
"How dare you say that to my best friend, I knew him more than you know him. You," he pointed at Adam and held Adam's collar with closed fist. Hannah and Vhiann tried to stop him doing that.
"Stop! We are not enemies here. Calm down," Vhiann told them.
"You are accusing my best friend without proofs then you're telling me to calm down huh? He looked at the girls with a frowned face. And you!" He pointed Hannah next to Adam, "You and this guy! I hate your attitude, you are both new in this but you act like you know everything," he insulted the two but he exempts Vhiann, because of madness he punched Adam's face.
Adam fell down on the floor, he wiped the blood at the side of his lips caused by the strong punch he got from the lawyer's fist. Then, he looked at attorney with a curious face and then he laughed a bit. "Poor attorney! Accept the fact that your best friend betrayed you," he uttered with a provoking tone.
Hannah rescued immediately when she saw Adam fell down on the floor because of that strong punch coming from the lawyer's fist. She helped Adam to get up holding his face. "Look what you've done attorney! Why don't you ask your best friend who's telling the truth between us, call him now!" Hannah challenged the lawyer.
