This guy definitely wants to kill her.

How is she supposed to answer him when he keeps distracting her with his nonstop assault on her body?

Gathering her courage, Vale pushed his chest away as hard as she can. She succeeded in pushing him a bit far from her, but not from his hands. His hands continued to roam her body, making her brain turn mushy and dizzy.

"Stop..stop..." she managed to let the word out.

"Answer me!" Instead, he demanded an answer, "Did you intentionally push me today?"

That's it.

Keith finally pushed her button hard.

Vale's heart feels like it had been sprinkled with salt. Her hand automatically fly to Keith's face, slapping him hard.

A stifled sob wracked her body as she lifts her hand again, ready to strike him for the second time. Only this time, he managed to catch her hand.

Unsatisfied, she used her other hand to hit his chest repeatedly as tears streamed down her face. Her face had turned red from the anger and hurt she's feeling.

He caught her other hand and held her wrists on one hand while his free hand sneak up behind her and push her into his embrace. Vale's body shakes from how hard she was crying on his chest.

"You jerk, I hate you! How.. how could you accuse me of doing something like that? Why would you think that low of me? You don't know how scared I was when I see you disappear from my eyes!"

"Shh...I'm sorry baby...I-I didn't mean to say that..." he said softly as he stroke her hair.

"You can kill me with just a word, Keith. I wouldn't be able to withstand if it's you..." her tongue slipped out the words before she could stop it.

He lifted Vale's face as he looks at her with a stunned look on his eyes. He wiped her tears and did his usual tricks, which always works on her.

"I'm sorry..." he said.

They lied for a brief moment before Vale decided to clear up the misunderstanding while praying he won't lock her up.

"Have you known about the unknown message I received?" she asked him.

"Yeah." he stiffened.

"I'm not sorry for not telling you. I know that you will eventually hear about it."

'Just like how you found me.'

She said, mentally.

"But, you should have been telling me first. I'm your leader, Vale, don't you trust me?" he asked in gritted teeth.

"I-" Vale bit her lip and hesitated on what to answer.

Yes, he had seen her crying my eyes out. He had seen her on her weak times. He's been there when she needs him. But does she trust him?

"Do you trust me?" she asked Keith, lifting her face off his chest.

He looks at her intensely, making her gulp the nervousness forming in her throat.

"Yes," he replies.

Hearing that made Vale want to pull her hair from her head. She felt guilty and ashamed of herself.

"I'm not going to tell you everything. I will make up a story. I'm going to make an excuse. I'm going to tell you...a lie. Would you still believe me then?"

He went silent as he ponders over it.

Vale nodded her head, assuming he wouldn't believe her.

"The unknown caller knows my childhood nickname. I want to find who it was before I tell you. Jack and I argue about telling you. I was afraid he will run his mouth and told you. I'm afraid you'll not agree with me and lock me up. So, I ran."

She looked down on her fingers, "I went to my friend's house. The guy you saw with me is my friend's younger brother."

He hummed listening to me.

"What about the kids' part?" he narrowed his eyes on her.

"About the kids, they're my friend's children."

Vale sighed before leaning into his chest, closing her eyes.

"There's...more...things I haven't explained to you. But, I haven't figure out how to explain it. Give me some time, alright?" she mumbled feeling drowsy.

"I've been missing you so much," she mumbled again trying to fight her heavy eyelids.

"I miss you too..." she felt him pecking her heads before she submitted to the sleeping calls.
