Chapter 109: Yet Another Crazy Thing

After she finally comprehended what Alexander was saying, the first thing she did was drag him to another office, an empty one.
'What? You asked a question and I answered," he replied, nonchalantly, like he didn't see anything wrong with what he did.
'What?" She said in disbelief before a scoff left her mouth. 'Your answer might make me look irresponsible in front of all of them! I just got SJAY and Oliver wrecked it in a way that I have tons of things to do, I am not even sure if I can finish it alone and you said that in front of them?"
'Yes, that's more like it," he told her with a smirk and she stared at him in confusion.
'What's more like it?"
'You are having a hard time dealing with this shit, aren't you?" he asked and she opened her mouth to reply but found herself closing it back.
He knows that she wouldn't admit it to him that she needed help from him if he asked her straightforwardly, she was stubborn in that way.
'Nope, Alexander, I don't.."
'Yeah, you need it, I would get them to come to the company while we go on our way to Monaco,"
'Who are them? And are you serious about Monaco?" Sapphire asked, staring at him incredulously.
'Some special employees from Triple A, grandfather also agree that we should send some over here to manage the affairs and I would like to take you on a date.
I am serious about having our wedding as soon as possible, so I want to let you tick all those tasks in the to-do list," he told her and wrapped his hand around her waist, pulling her closer to himself.
'I just resumed, what kind of CEO takes a week off in the first month of work?"
'You want us to spend a week there? I was thinking of a day or two? But I guess you have more to say about this," he told her with a smile, making her eyes widen, while she shook her head repeatedly.
'Nope, it is not that, I am not going, incompetence at its best if I do,"
'No one labels a CEO incompetent unless their company is going down, these people that would come over are coping skills," he told her, kissing her on the forehead while she shook her in disagreement.
'Your employees would be thrilled to work with people from Triple A, it would be of advantage to them if they form some sort of bond with them,"
'Everyone would think that I am turning to you to solve every problem for me,it makes me look like some gold digger of some sort,"
'I want to be the first person you turn to when you want to solve your problems, nothing makes me happier than seeing things go your way.
And don't use that gold digger term, it is only a jerk who has no money that calls someone that, you aren't supposed to bat an eyelid when someone you give the rights to spend your money," he told her and she exhaled.
'Really, don't you want to go on a date with me too? I am not the only one who wants to spend some alone time with you right?" He asked her and she scoffed at his ridiculous words before kissing his lips.
'Why do you even want to go to Monaco or Switzerland? We could stay in NY just fine,"
'Oliver took you to a lot of places here, I don't want the place I choose to clash with somewhere you have been with him, we can leave rewriting and replacing memories till another day, but our first date, I want it to be a first to both of us.
I want new memories for you, it is about time we pile them over the old ones you have," he told her and she stared at his face before finally nodding.
'What about the kids?" She asked and he crossed both hands around her waist and leaned his head on the wall.
'They could stay a week with Luci, Claire, Alyssa, Alicia, Ruby…. should I keep the list going?"
'Alright, let's go there," she told him and he smiled before leaning down to pull her into a passionate kiss.

'What the fuck have you been up to Oliver?" Venita asked and he shrugged.
'That's no way to say thank you to someone who chased all those reporters away from you, you don't think that you are invincible do you?" He asked and she rolled her eyes in disbelief.
'Did I seriously need to find out from that bitch that you decided to be generous and hand over the company to her?" Venita asked angrily, and Oliver just stared at her before he decided to drink from his glass.
'Does that seem like something I would do?" Oliver asked, placing down the glass of wine on the counter and Venita shrugged.
'Not unless you went crazy and you have been doing a lot of crazy things these days," she replied.
'Crazy things? What crazy things have I done?"
'Should I start a list? You can start with Heather at the top."
'You approve of what I did, you even called it what…" he trailed off, sucked on his teeth before clicking his hand.
'A masterpiece, a nice composition!" He said, staring at Venita. 'You called it that, don't deny it now."
'I did approve and commended it but that didn't make it any less crazy, it was crazy, period," Venita answered.
'Mr. Aldine called my grandfather and demanded that I transfer the company to Sapphire since she is the real owner of it and all that nonsense, my grandfather for some reason can't refuse that jerk and there goes SJAY," Oliver said.
Venita remembered what Melissa said about them and the Aldines and really wondered if they were going to deal with them, should she make some move in order to clear her own name? The Aldinea are terrific with people they hate.
Oliver shook his head at the lady who was already lost in thought at the mere mention of Aldines' name before throwing an envelope on the counter, she stared at it and he gestured that she should check it.
'A is Andrew, B is Andrea," he told her.
'Aren't those Sapphire's kids? What? DNA results? Were you able to dig out their father?" Venita asked, hurrying through it.
'C is Oliver," Oliver said and Venita nodded in excitement.
'Then C is probably their father," she muttered before she paused.
'Wait what? You are Oliver. You are her kids' father?!" She almost yelled, her eyes wide in shock, but he wasn't bothered at all by it.
He only nodded in confirmation.
