'Hello, you are connected to the Sparkle group." The secretary said with a cheerful voice.
'Thanks darling. My name is Elucianda Carter, your is?" The cheery voice of a lady greeted her back and a smile appeared on the secretary's face.
She trapped the telephone between her ear and shoulder and quickly searched the name on the Rich Society net.
'I am Mary Rhys, Ma'am. May I ask what I can do for you," Mary replied as she waited for what she was searching to load successfully.
'Can you connect me to your CEO?"
'Unfortunately, ma'am. Mr. Gray is not available at the moment," Mary said and grabbed the mouse when the search results became available.
'Right, I forgot that they are all at the Aldines' mansion,"
'Yes ma'am and here we are stuck at the desk,"
'Tell me about it,"
Mary let out a low whistle when she saw that Ms. Elucianda Carter is the second daughter of a rich businessman, who owns a big construction company.
'Do you want to leave a message for Mr. Oliver,"
'Yeah, tell him that I would like to invest in Sparkle, I see the potential,"
'Like how much are we talking about? I want to make sure I get the details,"
'Like five hundred million dollars?" She said and Mary's eyes widened in surprise.
'Umm, I will tell him when he comes,"
'Talk to you later, Mary,"
'Okay, Ms. Elucianda,"
'Call me Luci,"

Heather's eyes widened in surprise as she stared from Alexander to Sapphire and back to the kids while Oliver couldn't keep the surprise from his face. Every guest present at the Aldine mansion except the Conrads were shocked.
Nobody could fathom how the series of events that connected Alexander to Sapphire was, one was the top billionaire who doesn't have time for women and the other is a lady that is betrayed by her ex, best friend and families.
'I don't know the kind of seduction art that Sapphire used but it is as good as fuck, I mean, she was able to get Alexander's attention," Penny said and Tina nodded.
'This would be the biggest comeback to ever happen, this is feeling more and more like a soap opera, best friend snatched her fiance and she came back as the wife of the ex's boss," Tina said, her eyes flicking to the hand that was hanging around Sapphire's waist.
'It appears to me that it is Mr. Alexander that is smitten with Sapphire, I mean, if it is the other way round they won't be like that," Nick said pointing to Alexander who had his head in the crook of Sapphire's shoulder with his hand tightening on his face and a frustrated expression on Sapphire's face.

'Mr…." Sapphire struggled to move back when Alexander buried his face in the crook of her neck but he tightened his hand on her waist.
'You won't call me Mr. Aldine after I just introduced you as my wife, your ex is standing, his fiance, your sister and hundreds of gossipers, you want to become the talk of the town?" He murmured and she could feel his lips turn into a smirk when she relented.
'There are thousands of other ways to show that we are married, not every married couple goes around displaying their spouse like some sort of trophy and you are acting like a clingy husband right now," she whispered, lowering her head.
'This is my own way of showing my love to you, accept it while it is hot,"
'Love, my foot!" She yelled and stared at everyone, the attention was on them, Alexander really knows how to attract a crowd. She lowered her voice and gritted out. 'We are in public Alexander, you are ruining your cold CEO image that you spent years painting,"
'The painting is worn out and it is peeling off, let us paint a new one. We would add a new sentence to that statement, it would be, the cold CEO who is whipped for his wife and kids,you smell so nice by the way, it is refreshing, I want to keep my head buried here and call the HQ to tell the world that I don't exist again" Alexander replied and Sapphire couldn't help the blush that appeared on her cheek and the tip of her ears.
'Don't do too much advertising, your opponent would see them as your enemy, they would be your weakness, what would bring you down," Sapphire said and Alexander shook his head.
'That's your stupid ex's train of thoughts, leave it with him. You are my strength, the fact that I show you to the world means that I have thought it through and decided you all are worth it. You would be my strength and the reason why I never want to go under," He said and raised his head to stare at Sapphire's eyes.
It was teary and had the pain that was always lurking behind the confidence but this time it was tinted with something he didn't see in her eyes when he first laid his eyes on her.

Sapphire excused herself and went to the toilet, she really needed to get away from the party, she wanted an alone time to think things through.
She stood in front of the mirror and adjusted her look, her mind reeling, it was draining to be in the circle again but she couldn't deny that it was thrilling, it pumped blood to her veins and made her heart beat faster, having the upper hand over them made it fun, a big boost to her confidence.
She got out of the restroom and her eyes widened in panic when she was pulled into a room by someone, he covered her mouth before she could let out a scream.
'Don't scream," She heard and was finally able to relax a bit when she realized that it was Oliver.
She relaxed her tensed body a bit and yanked her body away from his arms before turning to glare at him.
She stared at him from head to toe and almost smacked herself for wanting to die for an idiot like him. She maintained eye contact with him and refused to look away first.
She was feeling a lot of negative emotions as she stood there staring at him but disgust crowned all of it and she would be damned if she spoke first.
'Those kids…" He said and anger took over the disgust in her eyes, he has no right to talk about her kids. 'When are they coming to live with me?" He asked and she scoffed.
'What the hell are you barking about," she said crossing her hands across her chest, she raised a brow at him when he refused to talk.
'I am asking you when you are going to tell the kids that I am their father?" He asked with more force in his voice and Sapphire almost laughed at his ridiculous claims.
He was clearly frustrated with her nonchalant attitude which caused his eyebrows to furrow in anger. He was not used to Sapphire defying her and even though she had changed her looks, he knew that she would forever curry favor for him.
'What father, aren't you afraid of saying nonsense in public, why on earth would I have kids with you?" She gritted out, still maintaining her cool demeanor, she would not give him the satisfaction of seeing her lose her emotions, he lost the privileges.
'They are my kids and you know that," he finally yelled, walking closer to her menacingly but she stood her ground.
She was done cowering, hiding away from their wrath and not flying because her wings were tied.
'The only thing that binds me to you are my ideas that you still use in your companies, my money that I use to support your company, the reputable people linked to it and the tons of money I earned for you while sacrificing my day and night!" She said in his face with calmness that there was a storm brewing under it.
'Those are none of my business, you will give me my kids,"
'And I tell you that there is no goddamn kids for you, they are mine, what makes you think that you are their father, you are not even worthy of their toe nails identifying as dad, you are none of their business and I would love them to be none of yours too,"
'Do you really think that I didn't know that you were pregnant before you ran away? It was three months pregnant," He yelled and a dumbfounded look replaced the blank look on her face.
Even though she had swore that she wouldn't lose her cool, she couldn't help it as the barrier she set over her anger crumbled.
She let all hell go loose.
