'How do you know that, this is probably the first time you have seen him in five years, you don't see him everyday," Nick said, looking at the Aldine mansion, he wondered what Sapphire was doing there.
'Shut up! I see him everyday on TV,"
'You mean a picture of him,"
'How on earth can he make himself look so distinct and expensive without even trying," Tina said, staring at the man who was looking around, as if he was searching for someone. He was the only one standing where he was, nobody dared to get too close to him.
'I don't know what your definition of expensive is but, a man who owns the most expensive collection of suits and tux, use wristwatches that can buy some people's entire generation and is wearing an Oliver Cambell right now is nothing short of expensive," Penny said and Tina nodded staring at his shoes.
'I guess you are right," she said in a low tone. 'I don't have a chance with him, do I?"
'He doesn't do one night stands and doesn't do girlfriend anymore, after Sheila, he didn't have any other girlfriend," Nick said and Tina rolled his eyes at the guy.
'Staying true to his ex? Did I tell you that loyal men turn me on the most?" Tina asked and Nick glared at her.
'You are an idiot,"
'What is he looking for by the way?" Penny asked and they both shrugged.
'Dad!" Someone called and Alexander turned to look at the person, and as soon as he saw the kids, he smiled.
'Wait, did I see that right? Did Alex-fucking-xander just smiled?" Tina asked with wide eyes, to say that she was shocked was an understatement.
'I also thought I was dreaming," Penny said.
They turned to look at the person who he was looking at and was surprised to see those kids that were in the process of roasting Melissa.
'He knows them?" Penny asked.
'Dad, where have you been?" The young girl asked and their eyes grew to saucers.
'When did Alexander have kids, and two at that?"
'Who is the mother?"
'What's your deal with her?"
'She has to teach me how she managed to snag Alexander, I mean, the man doesn't even spare anybody a glance," Tina said and Nick groaned.
'Aunt Alyssa said that you were not coming, what made you change your mind?" Andrew asked when Alexander was in front of them. He squatted and ruffled their hair.
'I came for you guys," he said.
'Are you sure that is the only reason why you are here?" Andrea asked, wriggling her brows.
'Where is your mom?" He asked and that caused a silent uproar among the crowd.
'Wait, their mom is here?"
'It wasn't a one night stand?"
'Who is she?"
'When did he get a mother of his kids,"
'I am sure that she is not his wife, maybe a contract is binding them?"
'I thought he was staying loyal to Sheila, what happened?" Tina asked amidst the murmurs, turning to Nick and the man shrugged.
'I never said that, you were the one that assumed," Nick replied.
'She entered the house, this fucking lady poured drinks on her intentionally and she had to change," Andrea explained.
'And the worst part is that when we mistakenly poured juice on her, she insulted us, you and mom, and said you didn't dare to face her," Andrew added.
'Are you sure that you mistakenly poured the juice on her?" He asked with raised eyebrows and amusement.
It was like they were in their little bubble, they didn't notice the number of eyes that were focused on them and if they did, they didn't care.
'Okay, Okay," Andrea said in defeat after an intense staring competition with the older man. 'Maybe it was not a mistake but we apologized," she resigned.
'And who is this lady?" He finally asked the question they had been expecting from him. The twins smiled childishly and pointed to Melissa who was staring at Alexander in awe.
'She got the googly eyes too, protect daddy from her," Andrew said and Melissa got out of her trance.
'Hi, Mr. Alexander," Melissa greeted. Her brain was just registering the fact that if this called Alexander their father, there is a high chance that Sapphire is their mother.
'Mr. Aldine," he said curtly and Melissa blushed in embarrassment, it was rare that she was called out like that and even rarer that she would keep shut and obey but Alexander is not your average man, he is extremely special.
'Uhmm, sorry. Hi, Mr. Aldine," Melissa said with an embarrassed smile and he only nodded.
'Hello Mr. Aldine," Oliver said with a smile on his face, he had his award winning and business smile on.
Getting to meet Alexander at a party was a once in a lifetime opportunity and he was glad that he listened to Heather or he wouldn't have met him. Alexander also nodded, his attention on the door that just opened.
Sapphire was standing there with Alyssa and Alicia, she had changed her dress and her hair that was covering her eyes were now packed up, showing her eyes.
The glittering dress she was cladded in was backless and clung onto her like a second skin with beautiful stones all over it, there was a slit all the way up to mid thighs, she wore high heels and her makeup had been touched up.
'Oh my god, Sapphire is so stunning," Tina said quietly and Penny nodded.
'She just looked like the Sapphy we all knew," Penny agreed.
'I wonder when she got close to Alyssa, the brats usually don't want to see a rich heiress or rich kid,"
Heather was brought out of her day dream when the murmurs started, she saw that Alexander was looking in her direction and blushed, he must have been waiting for her to introduce herself.
'Hello, Mr. Alexander, I am Melissa," she said in the good girl voice she uses on men and he smiled.
He raised his hand and she quickly grabbed it, he was going to ask for a handshake anyway. His eyes focused on her and he had a puzzled expression, as if he was wondering where the hell she was from and she froze.
Everything was quiet and everyone was giving her the stink eyes, like she did something wrong, she only shook his hand, maybe they were jealous.
'Oh my god, why the hell would you hold daddy's hand?"Andrea said in disgust as she yanked Alexander's hand off hers.
'Why do you think that you are doing," Andrew added.
Alexander just stared at her and she stared at Oliver through the corner of her eyes and she could see anger on his face.
Alexander removed a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his hand with it, making gasp ring out through all the corners of the room, Heather was stunned and ashamed.
A maid came to where Alexander was standing and collected the handkerchief from him before putting it in a dustbin.
'That was embarrassing," Tina said with an amused smirk on her face, Heather was so stupid.
'She is an idiot, everyone knows not to approach Alexander and she went ahead to grab his hand like a desperate bitch?" Penny said, scoffing.
Melissa stared at Heather from head to toe and snickered, since she barged into the rich society out of the blue, it is expected of her not to know some rules, but she should at least know her place.
'My apologies, Mr. Aldine. This is my fiance, Heather."
Alexander held out his hand again and a female hand was placed in his hand and he dragged the person to himself, it was Sapphire.
She had been standing behind Heather earlier with Alyssa and Alexander just wanted to hold her before Heather confused things.
Everyone's eyes widened as they saw him holding her in his arms, they wondered what Sapphire was doing with Alexander.
Alexander moved his hand to her waist and she turned her head to glare at him but he only smirked in amusement and dragged her closer to himself.
'Xander!" She yelled and groaned when she realized that she just called him Xander. That was what Alyssa and Alicia were calling him when they were changing her dress.
'He allows her to call him that?" Penny asked and Tina just stared, the wheels of her brain turning as she stared from Sapphire to the kids and to Alexander.
'Don't tell me that she is the mother of his kids," Tina said with her hand covering her mouth.
'Hi, Mr. Gray, this is Sapphire," he introduced to Oliver but all attention was on him.
