"It looks like you are," he laughed.
"No!" she screamed as he tackled her to the bed.
Anastasia took a pillow from the bed and threw it at him. Before she knew it, they were already having a pillow fight. He was freaking strong. She knew she couldn't ever win against him. He tried to stop her as he tackled her again to the bed.
"Feisty little feline," he growled roughly in her ear. "You really like to fight me, huh? I like that you're fearless. It turns me on."
Anastasia gritted her teeth and try as she might, she really couldn't push him off her back. She tried her best to turn around and when she did, he held her hands above her head so that they were face to face and her legs were stuck around his waist.
He looked down at her with a smirk playing on his lips. "Wrong move, baby doll," he said huskily. "You can't escape me now."
Oh, he bet she couldn't. Anastasia knew she couldn't match his strength but there was only one way to get out of this. She exhaled a breath, her arms losing their strength. His head was so close to her that she could almost practically kiss him with just a little move.
She gazed up at his darkened eyes then down at his lips. They looked so soft. She wondered how it felt to bite them. There was just something about the way he looked at her that made her feel.. something.
Something left unsaid that needed to be filled with a kiss.
A hot passionate kiss.
Draco seemed lost in a trance, looking deep into her eyes. She took him by surprise when she grabbed the back of his neck and slowly pulled him down. Oh, but she couldn't take it anymore. She could no longer stop this tension between them. Anastasia closed her eyes and met him with a kiss.
He reciprocated passionately, taking his time as he led her to a deeper kiss.
His tongue met hers and she felt tingles all over her body, making her feel alive. When he began to loosen his arms around her, she couldn't stop smiling against his lips. She got him right where she wanted him.
Right then, she took the chance to push him off her. She rolled him over as he ended up underneath her, her arms beside his head. "Wrong move, Alpha Draco," she told him with a smirk.
He grinned back. "Can't believe you fooled me with that."
"I guess you don't know me as much as you thought."
"I guess not," he replied as he lifted himself up on his elbows so that their gazes were in line to each other. "But I think you're forgetting something."
She didn't realize what he meant until she felt it.
He was hard, literally against me. Not to mention she was straddling him. This position. Her heating cheeks. His smirk. Ugh. Anastasia quickly moved to get off him but he pulled her back and rolled them over again so that he was above her. He gazed down at her, eyes burning.
"Checkmate."
She bit her lower lips, glaring up at him. She watched as his eyes dilated. It was at this moment that his wolf's eyes came to her mind. That wolf haunted her dreams almost every night. But now, she no longer had to be afraid.
"I give up," she sighed.
Chuckling, Draco touched her face with his hand and she watched him with sleepy eyes. "You should rest," he said and she stopped herself from yawning.
"Okay," she answered as she took a deep breath. He sat on the bed beside her and touched her head, massaging her in little ways. Her sleep quickly came as he kept massaging her head with his large hands. Who knew someone like him could have the softest warm hands?
Deep down she knew, he was just a little boy hiding beneath that thick facade. A child who grew up too soon. He kept himself locked behind that door. And she desperately wanted to find the key to open it and unravel his heart.
How cheesy.
In a fading dream, she could hear him saying something to her.
"I love you."
Even then, she knew what she replied.
"I.. hate you."
