It was already morning, and Zyrus has left to go to his office, which was only besides this room. My whole body still ached as I tried moving my lower extremities, cursing under my breath as I couldn't feel much from it.
"Pain.." I coughed, even my voice was hoarse from screaming too much.
'Why are you complaining so much? i'm sure you enjoyed it.' Gina speaks up.
I knitted my forehead in frustration. "Enjoyed it my ass, of course i had no choice but to enjoy it, he was pushing me to my limits after all."

Thankgod that the walls were sound-proof, if it wasn't then Zyrus would probably hear my antics right now. I sighed, directing my anger towards Gina.
'Shouting won't help you, so why don't you just lay back and let's wait for our mate patiently alright?'
"Do you even hear yourself?! i never said anything about leaving him! i just want to attend the trials and come back unscathed!"
'But you're completely disobeying him, you'll anger him if i heal you right now.'

I grieved at my state. It was then i realized that i can't fight while my body is like this. Even when i force myself, i'll probably end up hurting myself more than i intended.
I sighed.

"Can you hurry it up? i don't want to crawl with a naked ass body on the floor right now!"
Instead of answering me, she granted my wish after confirming my thoughts of not attempting to step outside any further. My body felt light after it glowed for a second, the feeling from my legs coming back.

I stood up, heading towards the bathroom in an instant. There, i washed my body thoroughly by using Zyrus bathing products in the process. After a while of soaking myself, i finally got up and reached the towel, it was then my eyes landed on the mirror in front of me.
"Wow, i look better than i thought."
I thought i would have bruises on my body-
'Of course, the marks disappeared due to magic, but you were really bruised all over your body earlier. Did you not even notice?'
I rolled my eyes, "How would i notice? i was too frustrated by how i ended up."
My eyes jolt open wide when i heard an opening of a door, sensing Zyrus by it. He comes in and approaches the bathroom that i was in.
When he was only about a meter from me, he knocks on the door, making me flinch at the realization of what the hell did he want now.
"W-What?" I stuttered.
"What are you doing there? i brought you food."

"I showered."
He tries to turn the knob but it was locked.
"Why is it locked?"
I gulped.
OF COURSE, IT'S BECAUSE YOU MIGHT JUMP ME AGAIN! was what i wanted to say but i kept my mouth shut.
"Coz i want to?"
He growls, only a door between us. He started to knock violently. "Open this door!"
I knew that he was already being generous enough for knocking since he really didn't care if he breaks a door. He was probably considering my feelings for a bit.
"B-But i'm still in the middle of showering!"
I lied, i just finished showering actually.
"How can you shower alone? you can't even move your legs right now, you might end up in an accident." He said in worried tone.
Oh so that's what's making him frantic?
I sighed, placing a palm on my forehead in frustration. "I'm already fine, there's no need to worry that much."
"Really? so you can heal that fast?" He grunts lowly, a hint of grief in his voice.
I gulped, just what the hell is he even thinking of doing now?! What's with that disappointed tone!
"Did you forget that i'm a demi-god?"
"Tch."

I couldn't help but sigh secretly at his childish behavior.
"Since you're already fine, you have to accompany me everywhere. We're gonna go to maria." He says firmly, "So open this damn door already, i know you're already finished bathing."
After hesitating a bit, i did open the door, my eyes landing on his tall figure, his arms crossed as he looks at my head suspiciously showing itself from the side of the door.
"Is that my clothes?" I pointed towards the pair of clothes he had on his hand.
Before he could even nod his head, i snatched it, closing the door in front of him, not giving him any ideas to spout naughty things. After dressing myself up, i opened the door once again, seeing his displeased expression.
"What?"
"Are you avoiding me?"
"What no!" I chuckled.
I'm not avoiding you, i'm avoiding your LUST!!
"It's not like that, i'm just a bit sensitive when it comes to my bathing routine so i don't really like having someone while i bathe."
He raised his eyebrow, obviously not believing me.
Well, i wouldn't also believe the nonsense i just spouted!
