Even though it was raining heavily, i should still get a pint of scent from her.
I lowly growled when i saw trainees gawking towards me, signaling them to not mind me as i circled around the place. Unfortunately, even when i inspected the place, there really was no sight of her.
I should've asked Jaxon where she was staying, i thought frustrated.
I left Delta feeling unsatisfied, shifting back to human form, i wore my pants once again. It felt frustrating knowing that i couldn't find a single rogue, so i took a walk further into the woods, outside CenterCity.
"Tsk, i can't believe i can't find a single rogue."
As i was about to give up, my sense of smell suddenly caught her scent lingering in the air. I looked behind me where the scent flowed against me.
As I got closer, my eyes darkened when i also caught the scent of a vampire.
My canines started to show, my instincts taking over control of my body as the scent got stronger each step i took. When i finally arrived to where the scent was the strongest.
I was surprised to see the she-wolf with a vampire.
They were embracing each other.
I don't know why, but for some reason, i felt so angry at the sight in front of me. I didn't waste any more time and angrily stormed in their place.
I kicked the vampire off her with all my might.
"HOW DARE YOU APPEAR IN MY TERRITORY! YOU MUST HAVE A DEATH WISH!" i yelled, fully aware that he was still alive.
Even when i kicked him to death.
When i looked at her, she was panting heavily, as if she wasn't aware of what was currently happening. Her face was so red, her clothes were also torn slightly.
I felt my veins popping from my skin, the anger i felt was so immense that i wondered what was the reason. Is it because as a vampire was in my turf? or is it because of this she-wolf looking sickly infront of me?
The vampire glares at me. "Tsk, you're really an eyesore."
The rain was still pouring around us, even stronger than before, it made my senses dull for a bit, the sound of the rain interfering with my hearing.
"What's your purpose for coming here?" I said enough for him to hear.
"Do i need a reason to see my wife?" He smirks.
This fucking shit.
I couldn't take it anymore, i rushed towards him with so much anger, that i was caught off guard for a second. He was able to successfully land his punch first before mine, swiftly dodging my arm by twisting his body to the side.
i spit blood.
He's strong.
"Before you attack me, you should clear your head first Alpha." He said mockingly. "Ah i forgot, you're just a fucking animal."
This time he was the one to initiate an attack. He was behind me in an instant, feeling a strong bloodlust from behind. i was able to sense his attack faster than he expected, his nails almost puncturing my neck. I raised both of my hands, grabbing his neck in the process, i pulled him down in front of me, my hands wrapping itself in his neck.
"What a coward, trying to kill me from behind?" I said with venom.
If i slice his neck, then this would be over with, i still need to check on that she-wolf, i thought.
I tried snapping his neck but somehow, his physical skin wouldn't break.
He smirks, even when he was turning purple. "Do you think you'll be able to kill a pureblood so easily? how laughable."
"is that so." I said, then clawed his stomach aggressively, his eyes widened in pain, his lips bleeds. "You're right, i won't enjoy seeing you die so fast."
He glared at me, his eyes burning crimson red, i wasn't able to dodge his sudden attack in my abdomen since i was gripping his neck with both of my hands.
i coughed out blood.
Damn why is this vampire so strong?!
Never in my life i encountered a vampire this strong, even if he was a pureblood, there was no way he actually wounded me.
"Don't worry i'm not greedy, i'll share this pain with you." He says, his eyes looking at me with anger. "Don't be so cocky just because you're in the top of your species' food chain."
"My species? do you think you can kill me?" I said, irritated by the thought. "This is nothing, i can regenerate even faster than you vampires."
He screams in pain when i dug into his stomach, deepening the wound.
"Is it painful? don't worry i won't stop." I said, my voice could barely hint that i enjoyed torturing this guy.
I was caught off guard as i enjoyed slowly cutting in deep that i wasn't able to sense his movement. He violently strikes my head using his own, enough for me to be pushed off from his body.
"Damn....it!" I said, holding my forehead.
But when i looked ahead of me, he was already gone.
