I snapped out of the memory when my brother suddenly asked me something that made my eyes wide open.
"Have you spread the word about the missing AlphaKing?" He asks.
"Yeah, it's been two weeks yet no movement from any pack. It looks like they've been beat up pretty badly from the 3rd great pack wars that no one would dare attack the redbloodmoon."
He smirks. "Interesting, great pack wars?"
"Oh right, you don't know anything from the outside. Well its because of the bluestone suddenly initiating war against the redbloodmoon, even with all the packs combined with them, redbloodmoon stayed unbeatable, few alphas lived after that day."
He raised an eyebrow. "BlueStone? How did Christal feel about her pack being the center of all?"
"Its a long story but she wasn't really into anyone's side." I scoffed, as we were walking inside the manor once again. We headed to his office and ordered the guards to wait outside the room.
He closes the door behind him.
"You did good protecting her." He smiles, putting his hand on my shoulder.
I pushed his hand away. "She died after the war."
His eyes widened.
He didn't know? What the fuck? What does he know? Why does he know nothing about anything, it's weird.
"What happened? Who killed her." He says in anger
I sighed. "Brother, knowing is pointless. I know what you're planning to do with Christal."
"Tell me who."
"Don't act like you care-"
"WHO?!"
I sighed once again. "It's the white witches." I said frustrated. "You're really unpredictable."
"Damn those white witches, they broke their promise." He said angrily, sitting on his chair, his eyes glowed red.
What's the point in caring?
"You really need to get your head checked brother." I slammed my fist on his table. "Why are you acting like you care?!"
"I do care."
"Bullshit!"
He glares at me.
I felt so pissed that i swear i couldn't stop myself to stride towards him with my fist balled and said. "I still remember the talk you had with that devil when we were kids, i know what you're planning to do with her!" I said angrily.
He frowns. "There's no point in turning back."
I faced him with horror in my eyes. "You love her right? Why.. why will you-"
"Enough!" He stands up. "There's some things you will never understand."
"Ha! Understand? I've lived my whole life following you, what don't i understand?!"
I wanted to make him realise that Christal is someone important that shouldn't be harmed, she doesn't deserve all of this. She suffered enough from her own problems, now she has to fight for her fate too? Just because she contains a demi god's soul?
"Those eyes." He suddenly says, the tension around us seemed to worsen as seconds passed by. His eyes glowed from anger and cupped my face with his hand. "Why does it contain love?"
What?
I pushed him away from me. "You're insane."
"I told you, you can't fall in love with her!" H
He seethes angrily. "That's why you've been betraying me huh?"
I gulped. "I could never understand you after you transformed into a demon until today, i could finally knock some sense to you."
In a split second, i was lifted up in mid air, he choked me hard enough to make me realise he could kill me easily with a snap.
"No, how could you possibly love her." He lets me go, i fell on the ground as i desperately breathed some air. "Nice try trying to knock some sense into me, but it's not gonna work."
damn it!
"Trying to save her? When it's never necessary is useless. She doesn't need saving. She'll be with me forever and ever." He smiles to himself.
For a moment, i flinched in fear at the sight of my brother. I felt pity for Christal for i know what future awaits her, it pained me how the three of us, became like this.
Destiny is really cruel to us.
"Then why.." i trailed off. "Are you trying to awaken her? Do you not even know what will happen if she awakens?"
"What do you mean? Father told me it was a necessary to do since she is needed with her full power for it to work."
My eyes widened. "You don't know do you?"
I've read it somewhere before, the book of the weapon of gods. It says that if a demi god's soul were to awaken it full power then everything from its body will be cleansed, full body and mind, and the contracted weapon will emerge from its own soul.
If this were to happen to Christal, she will recover all of her memories, and if that happens.
Who will she choose now?
CHRISTAL's POV
I left the manor to train somewhere near, as i walked into the forest i thought about doing the awakening first to start off my training. I stopped after walking a safe distance from the mansion and sat at the Chunk of tree.
"Okay Gina, you might wanna tell me how to awaken your power now. " i said.
'Fortunately, you knew how to control your power before your memory has been erased so training you would be meaningless, awakening your powers will come first and last.'
"Okay? Now what."
'Listen to me very carefully, the most important thing in awakening is to accept the power, a bit refusal will result in a failed awakening process, so you must focus your all attention in receiving the power into you mind and body. In short, you will be cleansed with the work making it a bit painful. It's really simple you just need me that's all.'
"What of course i need you- woah!" I said, she suddenly appears before me with the child like form she had before, his feet were above the ground. "Why are you here?!"
"I told you, you need me for this process. I just simply share my powers to you make a stable connection between us, remember you shall not refuse a tiny bit of powers because that'll hurt us both during the process."
I nodded.
"I'm gonna start." She closes her eyes, as she raised her hand in line with her stomach. Her powers slowly travels towards my stomach and it enters. I was suddenly struck painfully with it, whimpering for a bit as i endured every bit of her power.
I closed my eyes and felt the power travel to my mind. And that was where everything snapped, my eyes snapped open when memories came gushing out of nowhere, my mind felt like hell.
I remembered everything.
Everything before being killed by the heavens, a tear breaks down from my face as i tried my best to endure all of it.
"Argh!" I screamed in pain.
Gina throws up blood all of a sudden. "Christal! Focus! You can't deny my powers!"
I closed my eyes once again and focused in accepting all of her power, i didn't want Gina to suffer heavily injuries if i were to reject her powers during the process. After a long while, the transfer ended
I fell helplessly on the ground.
"Gina, i remember everything, why didn't you tell me that my mate is being held here?!" I said angrily towards her.
She still stayed in her child-like form and flew towards me, she sat beside me. "It was best for you to discover it by yourself if i had told you. You would never understand."
"Then why did you tell me Charles sealed my memories for good? How could i remember everything again?"
"No you don't remember everything. It is still sealed, as i can see it's too powerful to break, demonic powers." She replied. "But don't worry it was only a few memories that's been sealed not that important anyway."
I rolled my eyes, i stood up and surprised that my body felt weightless. "What the hell."
Controlling my power, i tiptoed and flew above the ground. "I can fly?!"
"Stop playing, there's a lot of things you need to do."
I landed softly on the ground. "Oh right, sorry. But woah- my hair turned white?!"
"It could be from the power i gave you, look we both have white hairs!" She chuckled.
I sighed, something really changed within me after the awakening. I felt more light, and my powers definitely heightened to the extent, i thought i was powerful enough before, who would have thought i could be this invincible.
"But it's strange, the weapon didn't surface at all." She said.
"I think we should go back, Charles must be worried."
"What? You're still concerned about that guy? That guy is full of suspicions, we should run away from here!!"
"No." I gulped. "We have to save Zyrus first."
