I sat on the ground feeling helpless.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be." I replied. "And shouldn't i be saying sorry since i shot you?"
"This is nothing." He said, i was shocked when he suddenly pulled the bullet in his shoulder without a sweat. "I heal fast too."
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up i didn't ask."
"So.. are you gonna help me?" He lights up.
"What choice do i have? You already convinced me that i'm not your past lover."
"OHhh so you really want to be my lover that bad-"
I glared at him.
"I'm kidding." He laughs. "Man, i never would have thought you would appear here out of all places. I shouldn't be telling you this and it's not like it concerns you anymore since you're human now but after the 3rd Great pack wars- after you left i mean, the king wouldn't stop tormenting us, thankfully i left before they could catch me."
I looked at him weirdly. "What? 3rd Great pack wars?"
He pats my head. "What happened to you? Why don't you remember anything? Are you really Christal? Hmm." He closes his eyes trying to think hard.
"Who?"
"I mean with all that attitude you're definitely her-"
I smack him at the head. "Shut up! Tell me why you drugged my family."
His eyebrow raised. "I forgot to mention this earlier.. but i didn't do anything like that."
I didn't waste anymore time when the words from his mouth came out. I was anxious to the point that my power was surging out from fear, sweat was rolling down my face as i noticed Keith was following me towards our house, i didn't mind him and continued to head towards home.
As i arrived, i quickly sensed a strong emitting gas around the house- a sleeping potion. "Someone's here." I whispered.
His eyes widened. "Hide! Cover you nose and don't come out!" He pushes me inside the bathroom beside us, i almost cursed him but couldn't anymore when i detect a sudden presence with Keith. I covered my mouth to avoid being sensed by it. The bathroom door was slightly opened but i didn't risk anything by not peeking outside,
What the hell is happening? And shouldn't i be coming out?
"How come you're here?" I heard Keith asks normally as if they were not strangers.
"I should be asking that." The guy said. "Your past girlfriend isn't here, why bother visit here? Even at this time of the night huh Keith?"
"That's none of your business." Keith angrily says. "After you and your brother kidnapped her what else do you want from her family?!"
Kidnapped her? Athena? .. me?
Curiosity gets the better of me when i couldn't help but peek out from the drama that was going on before me. My eyes widened when i saw Keith getting strangled by the guy mid-air.
"Watch your tone." The other guy says, gripping it hard making Keith difficult to speak.
This guy just drugged my family didn't he? Then you're not leaving this house you fucker!
My eyes starts to shift when i used a tiny bit of my power to separate him from Keith, saving Keith from death and coming towards him with anger. The guy who broke in our house was tall, making it harder for me to see his face since the lights were all off. Thankfully we have nigh visions for situations like this.
"How dare you drug my family!" I spat out.
"No! Run you stupid girl!!" Keith says after seeing me appear infront of the guy who tried to kill him.
"Me? Run?" I scoffed. My mood darkened at the thought of this bastard who might be trying to assassinate my family, i punched him in the face hard enough to blow him away from us, the wall cracking from the impact.
I looked at Keith who was very much surprised. "Are you kidding me? You thought i'm a weakling huh?"
"I didn't say that." He sighs. "Why did you even come out? I told you not to right? You just created trouble for yourself. As much as i want to help you.. you really are doomed woman."
What?! I saved his ass and now he's telling me all this?!
"You!-"
"Well it doesn't matter since humans declared that they've saw you recently, this would happen sooner or later."
"Is this how you're gonna thank me?"
"Why? Did you defeat him yet?" He smiles.

When i turn around, the guy was already there. His smell alarming me that he was on the same species as Keith. He grips my hand hard as he lifts my chin to look into his face, and he bends a bit to confirm something.
I slap his hand away. "What the hell are you doing?!"
When i looked at him, i was shocked from his overly excited smile that was plastered into his face, he looked at me like i was some treasure found out and it made me feel comfortable. "So the rumor is true then?"
"Is this why you drugged her family?" Keith stands up. "Just to confirm this rumor?"
"Well it's not a rumor anymore right?" He smirks at me. "This is really interesting."
"Uhm mind telling me what's going on? Are you friend or something? I'm confused." I said.
The other guy beside me suddenly wraps his arm around my waist, his face hovering a bit to me. "After you went missing for two years, who knew you were hiding here?"
"What?"
2 years? That's the time when i woke up.
"I'm more surprised to see you as a human, you really are something Christal. How did you do it?"
Christal?
I pushed him away.
"Stop it, she doesn't remember a thing Herus." Keith interrupts us.
"Again with that amnesia scheme?" The Herus guy laughs it off, but i was too shocked too even react from what he was saying. He knew who i was, but i was sure he doesn't know why i was like this- why i lost my memories. "This is why he can't find you huh?"
"Who are you? And how did you know me." I command him, but again he just laughs.
This guy is getting on my nerves!
"Sorry this scheme was just getting old for me, so why won't you stop lying for me okay?"
"I'm not lying you idiot." I shot back.
He eyes me suspiciously. "You don't remember you were werewolf?"
My eyes widened. "I was?!"
I couldn't believe it. I was a werewolf? Is that why Keith was telling me that i really wasn't Athena? That i'm someone that he knew that isn't a Human? Everything was starting to make sense.
"Then who is Athena? And where is she!" I screamed skeptically, i was irritated that i wasn't who i really thought i was.
"Athena? You're not her." Herus says. "I know her."
He also know her? How come he knows both of us? Is this a coincidence? What the fuck is going on here.
"Then where is she."
He smirks. "Princess you don't need to know that, just know that you're not such a low being like her."
Keith glares at him.
"How are you even sure i'm the person you're looking for? If i have a doppelgänger, then it means that there's also people who have the same face like mine." I said.
"Nope that's not it. There could only be a pair of doppelgänger born at the same era." Herus says. "That's why i could tell just by looking at you- and maybe your personality is also a great hint i must say."
"Why are you even here? If you confirmed your suspicion then quickly get out of my house! Keith you also go out!" I said angrily at the men infront of me.
Keith points at himself with confusion. "Me?"
"Yeah you're also a stranger."
"But we're on the same side!" He pouts.
"The moment i heard that there was another Athena around, i realised that it was you. Don't worry i won't tell anyone where you are hiding." Herus says, still not believing that i lost my memories.
"Dude he really lost her memory." Keith sighs.
"Well it's too early to say that since she always makes an excuse by saying she forgot everything, can't really trust her." He smirks at me. "She's a dangerous female."
"Shut up! Get out of my house!"
I couldn't take it anymore so i used magic to quickly create a sudden force field infront of them and pushing them back to retreat from my house. I closed the door and angrily lay myself on the bed. Thinking about it, that guy Herus looked familiar. He even was telling me about who i was before.
Even though he does, and i know i want to confront to him about if. i just get this weird feeling that i should be cautious with me, like my instinct was acting up to warn me about something.
I sighed.
"You look really lonely."
