After running away from my mate again, i didn't talk much to Herus after that, just dropping his ass close to his pack on my way home and sprinted like my life depended on it.
Literally.
"Christal!" Carly comes appearing like a ghost.
Ugh, here she goes again.
"I can't believe you're still locking yourself in your room like this, it's almost 3pm!"
"What's wrong with staying here when i'm all safe." I groaned in annoyance.
"You've been safe for too long!"
I sighed, wiping my hand to my face downwards in a depressed state. "What do you want now?"
She comes up close then suddenly sit beside me, looking me straight in the eyes she grips my hand, thankfully her mood of hyper mess turned to a clam state.
"You need to know something."
I raised an eyebrow. "About what?"
She sighs, "i'm not really in the position to tell you this but since i'm your best friend and i really care about your well being i think you should know at least something happening around here while you were gone."
She must be talking about what i talked to my brother once before. He told me that he was planning a big war with RedBloodMoon and everything was according to plan, that's why i've been silent for a month trying not to get involved to it for some time.
I acted as if i knew nothing.
"Ok.." i replied.
"Well to start off!" She sighs once again. "Remember the time when your brother wanted to lend you to the Alpha King coz he recently found out you were a White wolf?"
"Yeah?"
"It was strange actually. If it comes to the pack business i think i know more about your brother more than you do because you usually lock yourself in your room in the past, but even if i told you that your brother was really scary, you thought it was just because he's alpha right? But that's not the case."
I continued to listen.
"He's a man of ambition, he has his goal set straight without wavering, his plan was actually perfect if i could say? I know that i probably don't know things about what's happening now, but i think you should think about how to handle your brother in the future."
He's really a bastard.
My eyes widened, that's right if i do recall. He pretended to not know that i was mated to the Alpha King, telling me that i betrayed him by lying to him that i was a white wolf. But he already knew before then yet he sent me off to him.
And that was the start of his plan.

{"What's going on with you? It's not like he's gonna kill you. Why are you so hardheaded? Aren't you happy? I'm handing you over to your mate."}
{"I'm not! Just let me go!"}
{"No!" He glared at me. "After you hid everything from me, do you think i have forgiven you?"}

I felt really pissed at the moment, Carly must've noticed because she didn't ask no more and continued to tell me about what she wanted to tell me.
"I- I didn't thought i was clueless as you are. I just found out recently that our pack is preparing something big."
I sighed. "We're just trying to kill ourselves, what the hell is my brother thinking? I've been to RedBloodMoon and i swear to God will be no match against that kind of pack."
Before she would agree with me because everyone knew the nightmares that RedBloodMoon brought upon the lands, they were the strongest pack in the continent, and who knows? Maybe in the whole world too, but i was surprised that she didn't show much fear anymore, instead her next words left me speechless.
"I think we have a pretty high chance of winning."
What the hell?
"We don't, nobody wins a lottery that easy-"
"You just haven't seen it yet." She cuts in and looks at me seriously. "As i said right? Because i was close to you, your brother didn't told me anything and no one else did. But he showed me Christal."
I just stared at her shocked. "Showed you what?"
"Remember the time of the 2nd Great pack wars?"
"Of course, i wouldn't forget what happened back there." I firmly say.
"The academy told us something about a sin we made in the species of werewolves, BlueStone started the war."
I gulped, she knows now.
But she doesn't know that i was the once who caused it. Sweat drops from the side of my face, should i tell her? I've been keeping my dark secrets from everyone but i think i need to tell someone before it gets out of hand.
I sighed. "It's becaus-"
"Let me finish first i have to tell you-"
"No you don't have to." I closed my eyes. Inhaling deeps breaths, she became quiet all of a sudden. "I know that story more than you do."
My eyes started to swollen.
"W-What happened?" Her reaction says it all. She looked like she was dead serious to know about it, after all she does worry about me.
I couldn't take it anymore, i knew that i needed to tell somebody about this because it's consuming me alive specially at this time of moment where something like a war is about to start again.
And so, i told her everything.
