I widened my range of detection as i tried to find a witch. And in total there's a witch about 756 meters away from me, i smirked when i finally got a fixed direction going. I turned a heel then headed towards the building that the with is currently located in.
"Where you going." Herus appears beside me.
"None of you business."
"Can i come?"
"You already came here and you're telling to give you permission?"
"Then how bout what're you planning?"
I rolled my eyes as i ignored his presence and continued walking towards my location. His annoyingness isn't needed by me so he can stick like a glue for all i care.
I made it to the building, quickly spotting the witch going inside the restroom, i followed up after telling Herus to not follow me inside the restroom. Of course he nodded, he wouldn't want to be called a pervert by humans right?
The witch must've knew that i came for her because she looked at me warily. "May i help you?"
"I need some information."
"What do i get in return?" She smirks. She was wearing modern clothes, too thin for my vision actually.
Ugh a Dark Witch, of course why do i think that i can run by a White witch here? i hid my mood of bitterness then tilted my head. "What do you want?"
"Hmm remove your shades first, you look familiar."
I sighed then removed it.
"Ohh! You're that Athena? But you're a werewolf."
"No, i'm not her she's my doppelgänger."
"Of course you are." She nods. "Then what do you want to know? And do we really have to talk here in all places?" She rolls her eyes in annoyance.
"Someone's following me so going outside is not a good idea."
"Fine. What do you wanna know? You see i'm not part of those Dark witches okay? I'm part of the humans now."
"You're no human." I laughed. "It's rare to see a dark witch like you hating your own being."

"I just want to have fun. Now tell me about the info you wanted to know."
"Anything about NightCrawlers?"
"Ohhh you got something bad." She shakes her head, eyeing me up and down. "Has it been feeding on you?"
"Yes, do you know a method of driving it way?"
She sighed. "I've not been doing witchcraft for so long, but i do know who knows the right answers. They're probably the only ones who can help you."
"They?"
"Who's the rulers of the night?" She grins.
"Vampires." My eyes widened.
After talking to the Dark witch, i got out of the restroom as soon as possible and met up with Herus.
"You should've told me." He says.
"Told you what?" I said as i glanced at him, we were walking towards the exit since my business was done here.
"You had something to do with nightcrawlers."
"Eavesdropping huh."
"It's called being a werewolf?" He grins. "You shouldn't act recklessly especially without knowing what're you dealing with."
Hearing him say that quickly made me stop, making him do the same. I grabbed his arm and started dragging him somewhere near a cafe or something. Thankfully he complied quietly.
I sat face to face with him.
"You know about them?"
"Yeah, i know some stuffs." He smirks. "It's rare seeing you need my help."
I rolled my eyes. "So what exactly are they? I know that they feed on fear but why is it only me? I haven't heard or seen someone being involved with nightcrawlers."
"Good that you can sense that something was weird. But you see a nightcrawler usually roams around like an empty shell, it only begins to feed on something if you've been numerously been in contact with that specific lost soul, making you its target for food."
"So you're saying i've been in contact with that thing a few times?"
"Yes, but that's the problem you see. As i said, they are just empty shells roaming around, no intelligence or anything. That's why they can be easily controlled just like animals."
"So someone was leading a nightcrawler to me?!"
"If my assumption is correct, someone was continuously leading a nightcrawler to you."
I gulped. "Can they touch me? Harm me?"
"Not that i know of, but they do destroy mentality. Don't you feel fear lately?"
I fixed myself on the chair as it dawned in me, trying to pick up my thoughts. It's true, I do feel scared lately, it's unlike me to feel fear since i'm such a hard headed woman.
"But you say it's feeding on my fear so how can i feel fear?"
"Just think of it like a factory machine, it needs something to create something better and bigger. So you can say when it feeds on your fear and it gives you the double amount it takes away from you."
I sighed. My enemies had gone too far, they even want to attack me mentally, since i'm such a powerful wolf, i don't really have any problem with strength but when it comes to my mental health, i'm a loser. You can say that i'm not a positive thinker of this world.
I take negative vibes like i'm magnet.
"Then what about vampires?" I raised an eyebrow.
"What about them?"
"The witch told me that they're the ones who could help me."
"That's going to be a problem." He chuckles. "It's not free."
"Is there a compensation or something?"
"No, listen closely." He sighs. "Every species has its own environment, beliefs and set of rules. Humans? They live in cities, place that are usually public. Werewolves lives in forest or mountains, while vampires lives in the dark, no one knows. My point is just like how we differ in that aspect, it tells alot how we differ from everything, that's why every species is separated, and we'll like it to be that way forever. That's why every species considers the other ones as enemies."
"Well shit." I groaned.
"Your brother told me you haven't been to many places before, haven't met a vampire have you?"
"Yeah.." i hesitantly agreed.
Damn you Jason, telling something about me to this guy.
"In our species, vampires are the most hated. They got more attitude than you do."
I rolled my eyes, well you're not helping to improve my attitude bastard. Well it's true that i haven't seen or met a vampire before but i did hear about them, movies? Or something like that. But you can't really trust those kind of sources, since there are a lot of mistakes when it comes to movies. So maybe they can walk into the sunlight or they don't just suck blood all their lives.
"Whatever." I said standing up. "All i have to do is to kidnap one of them and get information about those NightShit."
He grabs my hand to stop me. "You don't even know how to find one."
"I'll figure it out." I said and slapped his hand away. "And for the meantime, don't get in my way."
"I can't do that." He stands. "Redbloodmoon has their eye on you."

I shoved my thoughts away and glared at him, remembering redbloodmoon was the very thing that always destroys my mood, since i would remember again that my mate was there. "You do too right? Stone pack."
"Well you beat one of our pack members pretty bad. And easily on top of that."
He must be talking about that red haired woman.
I'm not really surprised that i'm on their black list but what i'n relieved that no one knew that i'm the mate of the Alpha King yet, if they knew many more will come to take my head.
And that'll be troublesome.
I sighed. "Fine then come with me, everyone's thinking that i'll run away again probably."
"Good." He smirks. "Well no one want you to run away after everything you've done right?"
I glared at him. "Shut up."
This guy must be plotting something, of course he is. He wouldn't just help Bluestone Pack for free. And since i did something very grave to his brother, i knew that i won't be forgiven easily. But who the hell says that i'm gonna beg for his forgiveness?

I closed my eyes. Fuck calm down Christal.
"Fuck you Herus, don't test my anger." I growled lowly.
"Oh? Did i." He laughs. "I've been showing kindness and you won't believe it?"
"Kindness my ass, you're worst than that Dark Witch who made that contract."
He smirks. "I feel sad that you hate me."
"Hate you? I gravely detest you." I said as i slammed my hands on the table.
